Mediterranean Omelet

Very good spot. Very freshly made. Staff is very nice. It looks to be a great place inside but it has very limited seating outside due to covid. I will be back since it's so close to moms house. Def a great spot to grab a bite.

Avocado sandwich

I always order pick up at this location as it is near my work! I've tried their smoothies, the avocado sandwich and the steak wrap. Prices are pretty decent! They always have my order ready at the specified time and they are friendly. The steak wrap that I had lacked flavor- also it came with mushrooms - which was not in the grubhub description and also lacked the mango salsa it was described to come with. I would not order this again. The avocado sandwich is amazing though! Comes with a decent amount of avocado and they put pesto sauce on it which I love and though it is a vegetarian sandwich, it does not lack flavor at all. Smoothies are fruity but I guess their fruit is not as ripe/sweet. I got smoothies from fuel next door with same ingredients and theirs are sweeter. Depends on what you like.

a bagel on tin foil

I ordered a grilled cheddar cheese on a bagel to-go this morning and thoroughly enjoyed it. Pick up was very quick and easy, and price too was reasonable! Definitely plan to try more on their extensive menu!

Create Your Own Salad

I wanted something healthy yesterday so I decided to order a salad for delivery. I spent a long time deciding where to order from and decided on this place. I'm so glad I did. The breaded chicken was sooo good, and the lettuce and other veggies were so fresh. I also tried the Piña colada smoothie and it's so good! I've already ordered here two days in a row because I loved the salad so much and I'm not even a salad person. Previously I ordered a burger and fries from here too and didn't get around to reviewing but I remember them being really good. Def love this spot and will continue to order from here!

Buen café para llevar. A la tempueruts ideal y servido. Con. Mimo y atención.. Es todo un acierto

Rock hard buns.

This was my usual go-to for lunch, but the quality has really plummeted for delivery (haven't dined in or picked up). I ordered their veggie burger, which I once raved about, and the bun was super old and stale. The bottom bun was so hard, I recorded myself hitting the side of the garbage can with it. Ended up throwing it away and picking at the patty and some of the top bun. The fries were good as always.

Panini Club with Sweet Potato Fries
Mei C.

Food was okay. A panini and a fruit smoothie runs just about $16. Thought the side order of fries comes with the sandwich, silly me nothing comes for free. So tack on $3 bucks to that. Pay at the front counter and wait for the guy to make my panini. There are plenty of dine-in space with the smoothie menu plastered along the wall. Food came out fast and hot.

Outside dining

Coffee was good, fast and nice service. Pretty little sitting area outside, dirty tables though.

I feel like I am with my Italian friends and family in Corona,NY. There is nothing but love in all three restaurants. They have everything covered. The staff are a beautiful group of "International", young people. The tastes of the food and the creativity, blew my mind. The Crab Cakes are the best I have ever had! Food wise, Bayridge rivals Manhattan. The female staff made me fall in love! They make this old man feel special. Drinks are awesome and inventive.

The fried calamari could've been less oily, as this took away from the crunch; also slightly overcooked. Baked clams were decent. Salmon was cooked to perfection. Pizza was great! They reheated for us, since our group was too busy chatting. Desserts - phenomenal! Drinks- ehh. Brunch menu - French toast was decent. The salmon over hash brown , was lacking a touch of something , couldn't pinpoint what was lacking. Chicken and waffles, decent, wasn't the best I've had. Service- jonathan was our waiter during brunch and also our bartender. He's GREAT! During service dinner, we had a female waitress and I felt she lacked attention to details and couldn't flag her down when we wanted something. Overall, service is a hit or miss , I guess? If you're looking for an intimate dinner, nope. Love their vibes and music playing in the background. You might need to "shout"'to hear

Most of the bars around here are either Mexican spots with a bar or loud sports bars, so this place felt like a nice change. They've got little sofas along the wall, and the whole vibe feels more like a living room than a bar. Happy hour was solid, and the locals/regulars I met swore this place has the best burger in the hood. A couple even said they come here for food when they're too lazy to cook. Everyone was super friendly and easy to chat with, which gave it that cozy neighborhood bar feel. Megan, the bartender, definitely wasn't shy with the pours. The Brooklyn Cosmo was huge as well if you like feeling like you got your bang for your buck. For sure a spot I'd come back to.

I pass this place daily, zoomin' by I'd see Philadelphia something. The video gave a full explanation and why I need to put Philadelphia Grille in my lunch rotation. Walking inside, I know what I want. Steak with white american cheese with the works (onions, peppers, and hot peppers) There's an option for mayo, I'm not sure who's getting mayo on their cheesesteak but hey, you do you! The owner comes to the front and I tell him I saw this spot on social media. Everything looks amazing, I can't wait to try my sandwich. How long have you been in business? I'm expecting 18 months, he tells me over 30 years?? Wow! Not only is Philadelphia Grille a sandwich shop but they're also serving pizza for decades. I must point out, Philadelphia Grille is a very small spot. Walking inside, you're faced with a small counter. Once you have your food, they have tables and chairs in a covered lanai. I'd be a chilly Billy eating my sandwich so I took it to go. Once I get back to my Brooklyn Fortress of Solitude I dig in. The cheesesteak my way? Dynamite. Italian bread from Brooklyn wrapping up a cheesy meat fest. Philadelphia Grille did everything right in Brooklyn! I can't wait to come back and try the roast pork. And then mix it up the following week with a grilled chicken sammy.

My new favorite restaurant…read more The food was good, fresh, presumably well-sourced based on taste, and a very fair value. The restaurant is not overly expensive -- the $65.00 lunch bill below suggests a high-end selection and/or apps. I had a pineapple mint lemonade, sea bass on saffron risotto, a lovely salad topped with potato gnocchi, and cake dessert for $85 inclusive of 20% tip and tax. Nearly everything tasted fresh and homemade. Worth it. If this were served in Restaurant Row, the bill would be $40 more and the food not nearly as good. Because Beets & Carrots offers something rare and startlingly somehow in decline: food that tastes like food the body happily accepts as such. They serve meals that stand out simply because they taste like food. It was nice to dine outside the home feeling confident no digestive issues, lethargy, brain fog, bloating, etc were around the corner. You can tell that someone health conscious who cares about how ingredients show up in the meal is in the kitchen, someone who thinks food is both very fun and very serious. Least favorite: The lemonade. Mostly personal preference here, as I prefer a much tarter, less watery lemonade with higher lemon:water volume ratio. But I think most people would like it; I would get it again. Favorite: Both the entree and salad (which surprised me with a deliciously simple horseradish dressing) were great, but the bass wins in my book. Skin crisped to perfection...very flavorful fish and a great cut...creamy, perfect risotto. I appreciated that the risotto wasn't too salty as well.

I ate there in person and paid 65.00 for lunch. I am not saying the food was not good but really?…read more I am speaking from being there in person and paying !

Home is where the heart is and there is nothing quite like a home cooked meal. I have to say most Bay Ridgians enjoy dining local and in our neighborhood. I love to support neighborhood gems because majority of restaurant owners here, love their clients, establish loyalty through cooking delicious food and provide consistent great customer service. I was in the mood for a " comfort food"breakfast, you know, eggs, avocado, mozzarella, tomato, deliciousness and I found it on the menu simply named "Breakfast Sandwich". Which consists of voila: Mozzarella, avocado, tomato jam, arugula, crispy bacon, dijonaise, sunny side up egg between multigrain toasts. I ordered this sans the bacon ( requested turkey bacon which they do not have). What arrived in my plate was this decadent open faced egg sandwich that looked delectable.. and was!! Let's first talk about the wheat toast: I tasted it naked and it simply melted in my mouth. The ingredients worked well together, perfect synchronicity. I used one half of the toast to sop up any fallen ingredients. Highly recommend! For a drink, I wanted something a bit different, thus, ordered the Mango Mint Peach tea, fruity with a hint of mint. Loved it and went well with the Sammy! There are lovely options besides breakfast sandwiches like quinoa, oatmeal, granola, pancakes, French toast.. breakfast is served all day and lunch is served @noon. I arrived before 12 and was told I can order breakfast or lunch. It has a cozy, intimate vibe which I love.. one where you can dine solo, or do work or read or just enjoy the fabulous food. I will make "The Common" my home away from home. Additionally, there are cooking classes in their Park Slope location; the courses look great: Italian feast, Moroccan cooking, Wine Pairing and many more. Check out their website for more info. We ordered the chicken liver mousse, crispy potato tart, and burger. The chicken liver mousse is a must order and something I get every time I come here, whether it is this location or the Park Slope one. The mousse itself is rich, creamy, savory, and packed with umami. I just wish it came with something better on the side. The pita was a little underwhelming and was not warmed all the way through. The crispy potato tart was excellent. The potato was super crispy, and a bite with the salmon, egg, sour cream, and potato together was perfect. The lightly dressed arugula helped cut through the richness and made for a nice palate cleanser. The burger looked pretty simple when it arrived, but it ended up being surprisingly good. The patty was juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Overall, a great neighborhood spot and one I would happily come back to.
