I'm looking forward to living there and enjoying the amenities that are offered. Management is great and a great park to live in, in a beautiful town. Space rent now going up $50 as of 7/2018. Only thing I feel isn't quite fair is a large double wide home being a mobil or manufactured home on a much larger space, pay the same as a very small mobil one tiny space!

Between rude kitchen staff and the absolute garbage that comes out of the kitchen, my mother who is a current resident is not getting enough nutrition and feels intimidated to speak up to try to get more food. My mother has witnessed staff, upon hearing a complaint about the meal, come up to the resident who complained and in a sickly sweet, passive aggressive manor, berate her by telling her,​ "You AREN'T going to eat this after we ALL worked SO hard to make you this meal?" Dishes that are listed on the menu come out unrecognizable and look and taste completely different from one person to the next. Many meals don't have enough protein, and many are smothered in a lumpy, unrecognizable and not tasty gravy. For $3,000 a month, I wish i could demand better for my mother!! But it seems there is no "better" here when it comes to the food. It's a shameful practice, cutting corners on cost, using crappy ingredients that DO NOT fulfil the nutritional needs of seniors! The only really tasty thing seems to be the ice cream that comes with every meal... I'm sorry, I recognize this is our sad American standard, but pumping the elderly (many of whom already clearly exhibiting signs of cognitive decline) full of sugar and carbs should be illegal! Try to complain to Raystone management and they cannot help, as "the kitchen is run by a different company entirely." Great accountability. My mom will be moving back home where are least I know she will get her nutritional needs met by someone who ACTUALLY cares. To be clear, everything and everyone else associated with this facility is beautiful and lovely. The problems again are with the food and kitchen staff.

Elder's is a little Diverse park of people. You have people who go out of their way to be nice and…read morehelpful to one another .Then you have those who have no regards for others personal space. There are some residents who try to make it a nice little park then you have those who move in and trash it . All other Mobile home parks have rules and regulation and managers and owners who enforce them for the good of the residents. There are no rule's like other Mobile Home Parks at Elders. No law and order. No safety rails to grab onto in the since of feeling protected. It has nothing to do with disgruntled people living at Elders it has to do with being real and honest. It's true Elders has no amenities and it is the least expensive mobile home park for those on very low incomes. Residents move in and put up fences within a foot or two of their neighbors mobile home even though the law states three feet or more. Thus also blocking access for the fire department in case of a fire. A few residents have so many vehicles if there was a fire the fire department would not be able to get the fire hose to their mobiles to put out the fire. Elders has some really nice residents and they also have some really mean and hateful ones. Their are a few people who help their neighbors with shopping and housecleaning and yard work and just being neighborly by checking in on one another. Elders also has more then it's share of really mean and hateful residents. Not just busybodies who have nothing better to do but people who are bent on daily harassing and bullying their neighbors most likely because they don't have anything better to do. Most Mobile Home Parks have rules and regulation and very strong Managers and Owners who enforce them. No other park allows residents to put up fences on their neighbors lots within a foot or two of mobile homes. More then two vehicle is not allowed for fire safety. Stealing from neighbors would never be allowed and Bullying and harassing just simply would not be tolerated. Rule's on dogs and Motorcycle in all other Mobile home parks are strictly enforced. Having rules and enforcing them makes not only makes for a Safe place to live but a happy one too.
