(I shared this same review/experience on Google as well) A friend and I had met Tom after asking for a tour of the studio. He was kind and answered all of our questions on that first visit and offered a reasonable price to record as well as to produce a track. After a few months we decided to start recording and a rough copy of the song was sent to Tom for him to produce for us. He agreed to do so for a great price and so we paid him upfront and after a couple of reschedulings (from both parties) I was finally able to make it in to record a rough copy of the vocals. In the studio everything seemed to go well aside from a couple of technical difficulties that Tom was able to fix after several attempts. I informed him that the song had to be produced and recorded by the end of the month (due to a deposit being put down on a music video for the song) and he agreed to expedite the service. He did tell me he'd be out of town the following week but he'd start working on it as soon as possible and assured me we'd meet the deadline. After a week and a half I contacted him asking for a progress report, but no response. My friend tried calling him, texting him, emailing him, everything he could to try and get a hold of him to no avail. The deadline was drawing near for the deposit to be forfeited and the beat wasn't even made yet let alone the final vocals even being recorded. Tom didn't even give us the courtesy of responding to our many messages. If he even just told us he was unable to do it by the deadline and refunded us, we could've found another studio to record the song. Thankfully I was able to work with the music video studio who didn't forfeit the deposit and they even referred us to a different studio who was able to complete the song in less than a week. I had such high hopes for Tall Cat Studios because of the great reviews and good first impression of Tom, but unfortunately not was all as it seemed. I'm hoping Tom behaves more professionally with future clients and doesn't end up scamming anyone else, whether it's intentional or not. read more

I highly recommend Tallcat Studios for any music or video project. These guys are by far the best production team in the Phoenix area. I came to them with a major audio/video production project that needed to be done within a specific time frame. I relayed the idea to the team and they were able to far supersede my expectations on everything. The video quality was amazing to say the least. Along with the video, I also needed some good music production in order to push the whole project to the next level. We usually outsource for that. But after hearing some of their music samples done by their in-house production team, I just had to opt-in for some custom music. Their production team did a beyond stellar job. They really know what they're doing. From a business aspect, I really appreciate how straight forward they are. Every detail of what the costs entailed were itemized and laid out perfectly. So there was no guess work about what was what. If you ever get a chance to check out any of their projects, the cost will make perfect sense. The finished product was well worth the amount I paid. I really don't know what those guys below are talking about, when we called to set up to record with Tallcat even before we recorded they had us come tour the studio. They were very nice, understanding and very flexible according to our needs and desires, and this was before we even recorded. They had amazing equipment and knew how to use it as well. When we recorded they made sure it sounded exactly how we wanted it to and put so much time and effort into it even when we weren't present. Amazing experience, amazing equipment, amazing people. Tallcat Studios is one of the most inviting, professional studios I have ever been to! Not only is their work and equipment of high quality they also participate through the entire process! First walking in I was amazed by how open they were to me they got to know me before anything, when it comes to there studio work beyond great! The multiple producers/engineers are very quick and precise, they give great advise on how to improve our performance and makes the most of our time. Being a bassist of a band, I thought I wouldn't have my ideas listened to at all. however, tallcat studios proved me wrong. not only did they make our song sound amazing, but they also made it fun.
