Well, I'm definitely proud to be the first to review! My doctor is Lynnea Carstens and seriously, you gotta love her! I also want to mention that the staff is always so nice to me (so far) and they're of help when I need it.. Especially when I needed a doctors note from another day that I went in for a check up and they were able to provide that. I love how waiting area is always clean and actually very quiet. When I first went there, that isn't what I expected at all.. Only because the media loves to perceive a gynecologists office as a hell hole with a bunch of annoying pregnant women but nope not that the case at all. I also love that I'm never waiting a long time to be seen unlike the regular doctors office where I'm waiting 20 minutes because the doctor is taking his/her sweet time. I hope I'm living in the area even after marriage so Lynnea can be my doctor through pregnancy. I've become so comfortable with her (she just makes it so easy) and it'll take a while for me to become comfortable with another doctor if I ever move. On Sunday, I discovered a lump, Monday she was able to see me AND scheduled an appointment with a breast specialist right then and there and that breast specialist is very booked. Let me first say that dr polio is wonderful, kind, soft spoken and caring. That being said, the office is run terribly and the new management has not changed that. The office staff is nasty and rude and it is impossible to make an appointment. Each time I am tempted to go elsewhere. When they send you an appointment card and you call, the appointments are already booked and the books are closed. When you call back on the supposed date , they say call again in another month. This goes on and on...The actual date may be 6 months after the initial attempt. Oftentimes, they ask you to leave a recorded message and no one calls back. This is no way to provide health care. If you are a new patient please go elsewhere. read more

I used to go to the Suffern location and saw Dr Lynnea, but after she retired the male Doctors have been uncompassionate. I had a Dr disregard my concerns after I had a missed miscarriage and he prescribed me meds to "expell" the fetus. With out a follow up ultra sound to see why things weren't progressing Dr B. just wanted to prescribe me more meds. Luckily I decided to get a second opinion and discovered that Dr. B instructed me incorrectly on how to take the meds!! Had he listened to my concerns he would've caught on to the problem instead I was disregarded, prescribed more meds on a whim, then scheduled a DNC without my permission or consultation . Needless to say I will never return, and have found an all female practice who actually listens and was there during a tough time!! read more

This office has gone downhill. Fast. Although the doctors are wonderful in person be prepared for excruciating waits, rude patients, and little to no face to face time with your doctor once you see them. The love I had for my doctor is far outweighed by how horribly the office is run. Not worth it! read more

Office operator is just horrible, tried asking her a few questions and she hung up on me.

Information to other patients: THEY DO NOT ACCEPT LATE PREGNANCY (despite not mentioning what is their cut off week is). Declined my admission after requesting me to obtain previous doctors and hospital information, made me wait slightly over a week to get a nurse to interview me after mentioning multiple times to wait 24 hours. After multiple calls by me to the office, they finally got the nurse to ask questions and upon her discussion with the doctors, they declined me with the reason that I am 24 weeks and too late into pregnancy to accept admission. Will pass this information to insurance company as well so that they are aware that this office doesn't accept late pregnancy admissions also that their information online to accept new patients are not in line with their current status, as non pregnancy or perhaps selective pregnancy acceptance is on September onwards. read more

This is by far the worst experience that I have had with an obgyn. So much so that I left the office without being seen. Their bed side manner is horrific. The staff was rude. I walked out of the office as fast as I could. If they are this bad and the first appointment hadn't started, I could only imagine how horrible the delivery room would be. I would not recommend them ever. read more

I don't know what people are talking about when they say they have horrible customer service, etc. I have had NOTHING but great service from this office. This is my first pregnancy and I feel well taken care of every step of the way. Maybe they had a staff back in the day that wasn't up to par, but I must say the women that I speak to and work with each and every time I either call or am in the office are 100% educated, kind, sweet, informative, helpful, etc. Bravi to the staff here and keep up the good work. Way too long to wait for an appointment, and the Dr. I was seeing made it seem like something I was going through was my fault, so I left the practice for a new wonderful Dr., that I am so happy with. And now the new Dr. wants my old records, well that is going to cost me $.75 per copy? WTF? I am the patient, and I can't have my records with out paying for them, this is completely outrageous!! Should be against the law. read more

This practice is the worst when it comes to schedule an annual visit. I've been a patient there for over 10 years. I've called 3 times the month of January to make my annual for April (yes, you have to schedule that far in advance) and each time they told me the calendar was full and to call back. Thank you for making me choose another provider. I will never go back there again. read more

I switched to this practice because I like how Dr. Passano helped my daughter during a crisis. I can't even get through on the phone to make an appointment regarding pain in my side. The answering machine just says that they're closed but not when they will be open to reach someone. They are not very compassionate when you are there either. It's too bad, but if you're no longer child bearing years, they don't seem terribly concerned. Dr. Passano was nice but in a rush. I would trust her regardless, but now i can't even get through to a human. Unbelievable. read more

I have been a patient for years. The doctors are fine...but the office makes me crazy. It is impossible to reach someone by phone, the hours are not listed on the recorded message. I've said if I ever needed more than my annual exam I would leave...I think it is time. Very disappointed that the office staffing decisions are determining patient care. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! Dr Pasano from tallman OB/GYN was on Call in Good Samaritan Hospital when i went into labor. It was my first birth and I was in the Hospital for hours and she never showed up (and i called the service b4 even getting to the hospital, so she knew i was on my way in ). The nurses delivered my baby. Extremely traumatic experience. read more

Horrible place. They were always so rude. I always felt like I was bothering them, I felt so uncomfortable and didn't trust them to say the least. Even when I switched and asked for my medical records they told me that they couldn't do until Friday. I had to go to my new doctor without any of my medical records. They never discussed any results of anything. I felt more like a number. Had to call them three times once in an emergency because they never called back. read more
