I've come here twice so far, both times were off nights during dinner time, so it wasn't busy. Beer specials were excellent, ($6 for Shock Top pitcher) and the food is surprisingly good and priced well considering what you'd expect by the look of this place. Staff is really knowledgeable on menu items, fast and friendly. Will be going back for dinner, and sometime I'll get around to trying it at night with the bar crowd. read more

Had some good times here when I went to LU and lived just up the street. They also had some awesome Ho Burger specials on wednesdays. They have one of those beer "clubs" where you get a mug if you finish all the beers on their list. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to try it, but I had a couple friends who have. This bar is not a favorite, but it's not awful either. It is very smoky and it's not great for groups because of the booth setup - the most they can accomodate are four people, and the aisles are too narrow to stand in next to the booths. So that's a downside. The drinks are pretty good here, but getting to the bar can prove difficult. The food is decent here. They have Kegs and Eggs on the morning of Lehigh Laf, which is fun and my friends and I usually stop off here for a bit. read more

I go to Tally multiple times a week and will only ever go to Marie at the main bar. Very experienced and even on the busiest nights she's able to manage getting people their drinks quickly. And she'll come to check on if you need anything else. Plus awesome food! The new late night hotdogs are exactly what I need to balance the drinks after the kitchen closes. read more

I've been here five times and nothing good has ever come of it my friends have been arrested, jumped, lost hats(due to the stupid I know it's cold but fuck your warm head policy) and generally dissatisfied apon leaving. I live right down the street, but for some reason only started really going here about two months ago. I'm an enormous fan of the fact that there is semi-private booth seating, so you can actually have a conversation with the person you came with. The booths themselves are in pretty sketchy condition, but I'm there to drink, not shoot the cover of Architectural Digest, so whatever. The food is pretty close to being the best bar food I've had -- I've sampled a good portion of the menu at this point and have yet to be disappointed. Mixed drinks are always tasty. We had a great time at "The Ho" last night for Karaoke. It was a little dirty, rode hard, and put away wet, but what are you actually looking for....it's a bar for cry-yie! If you're looking for a "-tini" atmosphere - stay clear. Liked the fact that they had a separate room for karaoke that was non-smoking, and it had it's own bar. Smokers could go next door if they wanted to. Place was hopping for a Wednesday night, off-semester. Music selection was okay, and the singers were...well, it was Karaoke. Lets just leave it at that. I don't know, you guys. This is my favorite bar ever. The outside deck rules, the food specials are awesome, and they have a million beers (including some GREAT ones). I guess it can get a little crowded at night during the school year... but it's really great when you go there for dinner around 5-6pm (not too crowded) or pretty much all summer long. I spent all summer here and I loved every minute of it. I guess I have yet to experience the fratty side of the Ho (then again, I like sausage fests haha). Most of the waitresses are pretty good (sometimes a little slow) but I recommend sitting at the bar, because you get the best service and get to have conversations with the awesome bar tenders :) read more

They have a pretty nice brew selection, which is surprisingly affordable. I'm all for that. The feeling is kind of like going back in time because they have a bunch of historic shit or memorabilia on the walls and a lot of it all is just old wood. They have karaoke here which is a diamond in the rough. You can have a lot of fun singing or watching. The place is split into two rooms and there's a bar in each room which is nice. I've seen some cute girls taking a glance at me in there and that is also great in my opinion. If you're out in southside Bethlehem, visit this place as either your first, second, third stop. read more

I have been to this place countless times, but tonight solidified this place as far as safety goes in my mind. There was an aggressive guy on the dance floor who wouldn't leave and and my friends alone despite our multiple attempts at asking him to leave. I reported him to Mike, who works with security with Tally Ho. Mike handled the situation and came to tell us that we were not the only girls having an issue. The fact that he not only took our report seriously, but also let us know that the problem was resolved which made us feel more comfortable and allowed us to enjoy the rest of our night. read more

I love the Ho. There's nothing better then getting off a long shift at work and stopping down at a bar where everyone knows your name and you're welcomed with open arms. My husband and I went for dinner last night. Sat at the bar. The bartender...Justin was great! Made menu suggestions and explained the dishes. Most days he cooks. Chicken fingers were great. My husband had wings. Big plump wings! They happened to be 1/2 price on Tues. Their hamburgers looked fabulous and huge (ask for a knife and fork). Great relaxing dining experience. Last night, Monday, there were 9 people at the bar. I don't understand why I had to wait ten minutes for one drink. When I finally got my drink, I was given attitude as if it was my fault that interrupting the bartender's text message. I really enjoy the Tally Ho, but the reoccurring service I get from the same female bartender is very poor. Overall, I give the bar a 5 out of 5, but the bartender at the large, front bar will definitely not get my business again. I'm not one to complain, but I was seriously annoyed. I've been served by many of the other bartenders, and never been treated like that. Even though I was disappointed with the service, I have to admit that the atmosphere and the food was awesome. I don't feel safe in this bar. Pretty shabby but it is for college students so the standard is set pretty low. Wait staff were friendly and prompt. The bouncer was out of hand with his temper. I don't know what started the incident but he escalated it badly. When women who were with the guy involved tried to leave he started to berate them, calling them bitches and sluts. Very dingy, smelly, crowded and unpleasing. There are three separate rooms: the dance floor, the bar with a strip of small booths and a karaoke room with a small bar in the corner. The karaoke room wasn't as crowded and smelly, and it was pretty calm compared to the other rooms on a Saturday night. Yes, it is a dive bar/pub, but the amount of people in there should warrant a hazard. There was absolutely no room to walk, even to get out of the door. They need to put a limit on how many people are allowed in there. I was frightened for a few people on the dance floor, as it was so tightly packed and if someone passes out, they're ultimately screwed, seeing as it was body to body in there. read more

The only gripe i have is the narrow rows and sometimes its impossible to go from one place to another. but the rest of the bar where the pool tables and the outdoor seating were somewhat open. If I could give 0 stars I would for the fact that the males working here straight up called me a cunt and were ready to put their hands on me, so ladies if you're ok with that you might enjoy this place more than me. First time I came here was not too bad although they closed about a half hour early for no reason. Second time was a nightmare. I was happily drunk and dancing but started to feel a little out of control so I got emotional and was hugging my boyfriend (who had maybe 2 beers) while sitting down. We were ready to leave after I pulled myself together when a girl who was on some sort of power trip, claiming to be the daughter of the owner and apparently friends with all the completely rude bartenders/bouncers started calling me a cunt and coming at both me and my boyfriend. They insinuated I was GIVING HIM HEAD in the middle of this club while crying and trying to regain my sense of control, and apparently this was "on camera". Completely untrue and disrespectful to my character as a girl who has been with her man 2+ years and never done some shit like that - and I would've fessed up after being told it was "on camera" but it was a complete lie. Girl then proceeded to bring three guys into it who were extremely forceful in removing my boyfriend from the club (for NO REASON other than them creating drama, mind you) which led to THREE guys pinning my ONE boyfriend on the ground outside the club and ripping his shirt to shreds in the process and leaving SCRATCHES all over his neck and shoulders. Of course, I tried to defend my boyfriend in the process since he was only defending me and these boys had no need to put their hands on him since we were ready to walk out anyways, but all that got me was males in my face telling me "don't fucking touch me cunt". I'm almost positive they were ready to punch ME even though I was in no way confrontational, and my only physical contact was trying to pull them off/get them to listen to me as I was begging them to get off him (reminder: 3 guys who were not cops pinning my boyfriend on the ground, no shirt on in 30 degree weather). He ended up in a police car while the guy in my face calling me a cunt was just 'doing his job'. I am in no way a girl who seeks drama, or someone who would call another girl a cunt. In fact, I've never been called one before because I'm nice as shit! So beware... little girls patrol this club looking for people to start shit with because they know they won't get in trouble since 'my father owns this bar'. And the guys here have no problem abusing their 'authority' and calling a girl a cunt. I've never felt so disrespected or unsafe as when I was confronted by these males. Instead of asking us to leave they needed to get physical and insulting and no one questioned them since they worked there. Oh, and these guys didn't even try to return two $100+ leather jackets that were dropped by my bf... AND IT WAS 30 DEGREES OUTSIDE. Wouldn't be surprised if they were stolen and the bar claims no responsibility - these people are all just shitty human beings in all ways. read more

Worst Bar Ever. I've never had such a bad experience at a bar/restaurant before. They wouldn't let my boyfriend in because he was wearing a hat and yet 75% of their employees were wearing them. They wouldn't even let him in with the hat hanging from his belt. I also walked in on the bouncer talking trash about me to another employee because I told him it was a little ridiculous that their employees could wear hats but paying patrons had to go back to the car to put their hat away. Then while my boyfriend and I were walking back from dropping his hat in the car our friends got kicked out because someone called my friend a "drunk slut". She got kicked out but the guy didn't. How that makes sense I'll never know. Needless to say I will never go back there and I don't suggest anyone else go either! read more
