We wanted someone smart, good and dependable and we needed someone fast. Holly was/is all of these things and more. We've hired her twice now to do a full house cleaning. Here are the key reasons why we're giving her 5 stars: - She was crystal clear in our first telephone conversation about what she does and what she does not do, and she provided a meaningful, typical-average price estimate (unlike other companies that we called that wanted to come by to 'give us an estimate' and wouldn't talk money over the phone), and her final charges were totally consistent with what she described. - She showed up at the agreed time and texted me 'one week before' and 'one day before' to confirm our appointment. I haven't received this kind of service from almost anyone but my dentist. - She did a great job cleaning our home. She solicited feedback from us on the work she did (BEFORE she left!), and guided a final, joint-walkthrough of the house to be sure we were happy with the results. - She was totally responsive to our needs as we had expressed them. Holly made the point, "everyone has particular needs around cleanliness!" I hadn't actually thought about that much before. She is absolutely right. She gets it. We felt like she cared, and she does. - Her invoices felt great! She works incredibly hard and we felt her services were great value. Holly's business name truly states it clearly: She gets it done, and she gets it done as requested, well, expediently, and professionally. Thank you Holly! Lastly, and this arguably may be the most important aspect of having ANY household cleaner come into one's home: she was really personable, kind, down to earth, and really pleasant to be around. We felt totally comfortable having her work around us as we worked at our jobs, and felt comfortable with her poking into all of the corners of our home, because ... well folks, this is what cleaners have to do if they are good! So, I called Apple Pie Maids! Not only did they fit me in almost immediately, they worked with my work-from-home schedule. Katie and Kristina used text messaging to communicate with me since I can rarely answer my phone during the work day. When the cleaners are here, they're always extremely polite and even operate based on my schedule (running the vacuum when I'm not on a call, jumping into my office to clean between my work, etc). They always ask me as soon as they arrive if there's something particular they should focus on or an area that needs special attention, and then walk me through each room at the end to ensure nothing was missed. Overall, the service has been invaluable. I'm no longer staring at dusty shelves during presentations, constantly vacuuming my dogs pet hair on my lunch break, or picking up after my little ones through the evenings.
