I spoke with the police department to have the citation removed, but it is still a huge reoccurring issue for me ever since I have had Allstate. Big inconvenience for me! The police department said it was an issue on Allstate's end that needed to be taken care of. Allstate denies any responsibility and claims they put my information in the national database for proof of insurance, but police aren't able to pull it up since switching to Allstate??.. Allstate has really dropped the ball! even though they have been getting my auto payments on time always and NEVER late!! I have the app, but it needed an update at the time and the police were not willing to wait on that. They said they would just pull it up from their end. They said it was showing no insurance since July 2020! This is the second or third time this has happened to me since having Allstate insurance by this agency! I was therefore ACCUSED by the police of NOT having insurance for almost a year! HUGE EMBARRASSMENT!! They should have been able to pull it up like with other insurance companies. I have NEVER had this problem before with any other insurance company! Krystal was absolutely no help at all and preferred to put the blame on me and the police department. She talked to me like I was a child and also told me she wasn't going around in circles with me! Ha!..Really? I'm sure she's going around in circles with my money!! How unprofessional..to talk to a customer like that. She says this problem has never happened in over 20 years!..Well perfect.. more of the reason to look into, research and fix the problem on your end so it will not happen to others!! On August 21, 2022 Vickie was made aware of new replacement cost calculators at SafePort Insurance Company that would be in place if she didn't bind home insurance policies by September 12, 2022. She NEVER made me aware of this as I could have paid for my policy by then and it wouldn't have been an issue. Our policy expires September 25, 2022 and when I asked to pay it on September19, 2022, she told me it would be $3,000 more blaming it on SafePort. When I called SafePort myself, they set the record straight and let me know Vickie was aware of this change in August and the increase was due to her lack of attention to their notice. Due to her incompetence, we would have to pay $3,000 more for home insurance. I asked her to make the situation right and for her to cover the additional cost we were going to incur. She simply said, "find another agent." I would definitely look elsewhere for an insurance agent. I will be contacting the insurance licensing agency to file a complaint.
