We regularly get unsolicited calls, voice-mails, text messages and emails from this group, regularly. We have never used this companies services, and never will. I have called (multiple times) and asked to be removed from their solicitor call list, I have replied "STOP" to unsubscribe from their middle of the night text messages, I have emailed them multiple times begging them to stop harrassing me. It's of no use. They will forever fill my voice-mail box with their fake/friendly pre-recorded garbage about how low interest rates are right now. If I ever need to refinance my mortgage or buy another property, it certainly won't be through these clowns. Zero stars. Negative stars even.

0/10 would not recommend…read more Myself and my partner attempted a refi that started 4 months ago. Despite all the promises and assurances that this would be easy, the process was anything but. Early on there was a lot of issues getting ahold of Shaun and getting a response in a timely manner and it got worse over time and ultimately ended up with no communication. Perhaps he just abandons and ignores his clients when he realizes he overpromised and will be unable to deliver? Overpromise and underdeliver seems to be what happens in transactions with Shaun. At the beginning it was "we just need you to do A, B and C and you'll be looking at a 30 day close". Well once A, B and C were done, we found out that "D" was also needed. Then once D was completed it was "oh now we need you to do 'E', and so on and so on. It never ended. Once we thought we were finally at the end and Shaun was promising a close by the end of the following week, we spoke with the loan person and they said it was at least 3 weeks out. Ultimately after getting jerked around for 4 months, we finally made the call to move on and cancel our application. We never did hear back from Shaun, which really solidifies my belief that one he realizes that he's not getting anything out of the deal, he'll drop you like a hot potato and no longer answer or return your calls. All in all, after a terrible experience and a wasted 4 months, I absolutely would not recommend anyone to do business with either Shaun or CrossCountry. Save yourself the headache and hassles and look elsewhere.

This time our circumstances were not as simple as they've been in the past. First, Shaun assured us on multiple occasions that this would be simple, you'll skip a couple of payments, it will be all fine. You can get caught up. Instead, the process got longer and longer. We knew it was a tough loan , but we were told by Shaun repeatedly, you have an approval, you'll be signing docs within in a week, etc. This went on for three months. During the last month, Shaun has been extremely difficult to contact, ignores messages, does not respond for days if at all, and passes the buck to other people. Today we were FINALLY told by Gary J. at Alterra home loans that our loan would not pencil out. It's disappointing but at least someone was finally honest with us. We will not do business with Mr. Guerrero again, and would not recommend him to our friends or family.
