I had a pretty serious back injury and was recommended to Krista by a friend. Prior to seeing Krista, I had been up for almost 3 nights straight with persistent discomfort in my hip and back. I am not someone who sees massage therapists, acupuncturists, chiropractors or other alternative health providers often. I've seen them in the past but had mixed results and found their quality to be inconsistent. But, I decided to see her since she'd been highly recommended to me, she was close to my work, and I was desperate. It was seriously one of the most therapeutic massage experiences I have ever had. Krista did a great job zeroing in on the injured area and knew exactly what to do in order to loosen things up and get things back into shape. She was patient, methodical and very professional. I started seeing Krista on a monthly basis 6 months ago. Every month she would work on the same muscles on the right hip and right lower back. One day she noted that my right leg was shorter than my left. I went to a podiatrist who sold me a $20 cork heel insert and now I don't have any more hip pain. I wish I met her ten years ago. My next goal is to work on my head posture so I don't keep getting the knots in my shoulder muscles. I like the fact that she really seems interested in what might be causing the muscle strains and tries to offer helpful suggestions. Krista is a very talented massage therapist and a wonderful person. I had a problem with my back during pregnancy and she fixed it!!!! Right now I have a lots of stress on my back and trying to come to Krista every once in a while. It's a great recovery after her massage!!!! She works with deep muscles and I feel much better after her treatment. Massage is a great help; although, Krista recommends to work out on the regular basis to support those muscles strength. This place is awesome! I started coming here for massage about year ago. Krista,who is my therapist and owner, is a superstar. She always checks in with me at the beginning to see what the focus areas should be for the session and actually listens! She also keeps track of what we worked on the previous week and uses it as a baseline for the new session, which I appreciate. I have had massages before but none have ever been this good. I went all the way from Federal way for this massage and I am saying it was so very worth the drive and the time.
