    Whatever you do, avoid this insurance agency at all cost! Totally botched the insurance payment on…read moreour home leaving us open to great loss. Ten days after payment was due and they still hadn't gotten it deposited due to a snow storm. I had to make the payment myself after receiving very threatening correspondence from Farmers corporate. Phrases in the IMPORTANT EXPIRATION NOTICE we received like "Your policy has expired. Your insurance ceased on the Expiration date shown above" & "The mortgagee on your policy has not paid the premium due to keep your policy in force. Please make the payment below to avoid a lapse in coverage" were terrifying. But our concerns were completely dismissed by Eric Holmes an "Insurance Professional". He says "oh that's Farmers and not us". Not even the slightest concern about what those words mean to a policy holder. I chose to believe Farmers Corp before his word. Thankfully we didn't need to test his claims of those words from corporate meaning nothing. They gave our mortgagee the wrong address to mail the check to begin with. When finally getting them the correct physical address, they sat on the check they received for days because of a snow storm. I can sit on my couch and deposit checks I get. Time for Farmers to step into the 21st century. Nothing but excuses and not even an apology for all the stress and trouble. And don't think for one second that Loni Griffith an apparent office manager will be of any use. Nothing but a bad attitude from her and a horrible scowl on that face of hers, mocking me on the way out the door by repeating my ending phrase of "oh happy day at Farmers". What a piece of work these folks are! Way to tone it down or calm my flabbergasted disbelief in the way this agency treated my wife & I. I've been with Farmers for decades! We'll be shopping around now that's for sure! And never mind the fuel costs associated with having to go to both the lender in a town 50 miles away and to my own agent. Let alone the hours of many calls and the effort to do their footwork to get to the bottom of our issues. And Farmers blames the lender even though they'd sent the first check 3 weeks before it was due! Don't ever believe a word these folks tell you. There's a reason this particular agent only has 3 stars now when every other Farmers agent here has 5 stars in our little town.
