Exceptional care from start to finish…read more I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Wells and his staff in Wesley Chapel. From the moment I walked in, the entire office made me feel calm, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. Their patient chairs are massage chairs, they offer weighted blankets and a warm face towel after your treatment. Dr. Wells is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and thorough--he took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I felt at ease every step of the way. What could have been a stressful experience turned out to be surprisingly smooth thanks to his skill and gentle approach. You can truly tell he takes pride in his work and cares deeply about his patients' comfort and outcomes. The staff is equally wonderful--friendly, caring, and welcoming. If you need an endodontist, I wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend Dr. Wells. He sets the gold standard for care, professionalism, and compassion.

Everyone there, and I mean everyone, is genuinely focused on taking care of you and your mouth. I walked in nervous, not knowing what to expect. My first root canal? Yeah, I was anxious. But Dr. Yelisetty and Dr. Wells made sure I understood exactly what was happening and why it needed to happen. They were patient, kind, and really listened to my concerns. Dr. Yelisetty got me started and was awesome, and then Dr. Wells stepped in for the next part. He made sure I was 100% comfortable, even making small changes just to help me feel at ease. You can tell the whole team truly cares--and that makes a huge difference. If you're worried like I was, don't be. These folks are pros, and they actually make you feel like you're in good hands--because you are.

I wish I could give this practice zero stars…read more My husband was experiencing severe anxiety because he had never undergone significant dental work before. During our visit, we encountered discrepancies between the treatment recommendations and payment information provided by our primary dentist and what we were being told at this office. As a result, we requested a few minutes of privacy to discuss the treatment plan and financial options together. Unfortunately, the dental assistant repeatedly remained in the room despite our request for privacy. I had to ask multiple times before we were finally given the opportunity to speak privately. Later, the assistant returned with Dr. Medina, and we explained that we were attempting to resolve conflicting information with our primary dentist, who had referred us to this office. Rather than addressing our concerns, Dr. Medina appeared frustrated that we were postponing treatment until we had clarity regarding the discrepancies. She ultimately declined to treat my husband, stating that she felt we were "not a good fit." As someone who works in healthcare, I found this experience extremely disappointing. Patients have the right to ask questions, seek clarification, and fully understand their treatment options before proceeding. I have never witnessed a healthcare provider refuse treatment simply because a patient expressed concerns or requested additional information. What made this situation particularly troubling was that Dr. Medina was aware my husband was experiencing significant pain, yet she still chose not to provide care. In my opinion, personal frustration should never interfere with professional responsibilities or patient care. Additionally, the staff came across as overly pushy and lacked empathy for a patient who was clearly anxious and nervous about undergoing major dental surgery. The fact that I had to repeatedly insist on basic privacy for a discussion regarding treatment and finances was also highly concerning. Overall, this was an unprofessional and disappointing experience. I would not recommend this office to anyone seeking compassionate, patient-centered care, especially for major dental procedures where comfort, communication, and trust are essential.

This is the experience of my family member and I am so upset because we as a family are all…read morepatients here and have experienced several mishaps and poor quality of care and horrible personal treatment and service........ I hope you all are able to take into consideration why I am choosing to leave this practice and strive to do better. I NEVER write reviews or send complaints; I usually just move on from situations but this time I felt I had to say something. I am so upset about my experience here. The office itself is beautiful and clean and some of the staff (front desk/some hygienists) are wonderful, however the rest, not so much. Multiple times I have been coerced into immediate procedures such as cavity fillings, sealings, wisdom teeth removals and fluoride. When I explained that I did not want to get fluoride due to it costing money, I was told to get it instead of getting my nails done next time. It is not that simple for some people. The hygienist doesn't know me personally and doesn't know my financial situation or if I even pay for my nails! Paying for the fluoride treatment could be the difference between eating or not eating some days because not everyone has money to blow, and fear mongering your clients and forcing them into procedures and processes they don't want is VERY off putting. Furthermore, Dr. Helen is extremely unempathetic, cold and does not care about the wellbeing of clients. The day my wisdom teeth were removed I was not only coerced to get them out but she was horrible. I explained that my father was dying in hospice care and I wasn't comfortable getting a procedure done that day and she kept pushing me and pushing me until I said yes. I explained that I had anxiety over the whole situation and did not like the laughing gas which may cause me anxiety and so I was crying. The hygienist who helped me that day was amazing and did everything in her power to try and keep me calm but as soon as Dr. Helen came in, she expressed how annoyed she was with the hygienist for helping me and how annoyed she was with me for being anxious and told me "figure it out you need to just calm down". I understand that my anxiety in the moment is no one's responsibility, however it wouldn't hurt to show a little compassion! When I expressed that I had issues with dental hygiene due to mental health issues and asked for advice on how to better my oral health she told me "well you can't do that you have to just take care of your teeth." Extremely unhelpful and cold! She could have easily taken 30 seconds to recommend products to me or help me with my oral health since she is a dentist after all. My most recent visit was horrendous. Again, the hygienist was coercing and filling me with fear to force me to get my cavities filled right then and there, get a tooth sealed AND get fluoride. Once I finally relented and said yes and we began the procedure, it went downhill from there. When they were cleaning my teeth, it hurt and my gum on my back right lower mouth was damaged and is STILL inflamed. While Dr. Helen was filling my cavities; she chipped a piece of the back of my upper right tooth! Thankfully it is on the back of my tooth so it is not visible but it's still ridiculous. I hope this review is shared with the staff and taken into consideration so you all can improve for future reference. This has been a horrible dental experience and I hope you guys can make a change to stop forcing clients into things that they do not want to do or cannot afford and that the doctor and some of the staff can begin showing compassion and empathy.

Wow, I dodged a bullet on this one! I show up for my appointment today and they check me in and…read moretell me that I have to pay for x-rays as my insurance won't pay since I had them done 6 months ago. I told them that yes, I had them done but the insurance didn't pay for them as they told me it hadn't been 6 months since my previous x-rays...so, even though I had x-rays 6 months ago AND I paid for them (not insurance), why would my insurance not pay for them now since it's been a year? They said, that's how insurance works (?). They said if I could get my x-rays emailed to them, they wouldn't have to take them again. So, I call my old dentists' office who promptly emails my x-rays, and this problem is solved. Then they take me back and the dental hygienist tells me that the dentist will review my x-rays and see if she can read them and if not, they'll take more. Then she says the dentist will be in shortly and advise what type of cleaning I'll need. I said I only want a normal cleaning covered by my insurance and the hygienist said that I must have the cleaning that the dentist decides and if, for instance, the dentist says I need a deep cleaning that that is what they would do, and it would be illegal for them to give me any other cleaning. I promptly told her that I was uncomfortable with the entire visit and left. This whole thing smelled of a bait and switch and I find it hard to believe it's "illegal" for them to give me a basic/normal/6-month cleaning like I've had for 30 years! In my opinion, these people are disgusting scammers.
