He is the #1 professional in the world doing tandem BASE. Safety is his number 1 concern. He doesn't jump if conditions are not safe. He apprises you of every step. There is essentially nothing you can do to screw things up, you don't have to think about anything, he has thought of everything and all you need to do is be present. He checks and re-checks everything. He is very methodical, and would never miss a thing. His calm, confident and capable demeanor calmed my nerves and any concern I had. He has so much respect for the sport and everyone doing it or watching it. He is one of the coolest people I have ever met and it was great just getting to hang out with him. This is a once-in-life-time experience that I recommend to everyone and I would recommend anyone to do it with Sean. On 10/19/21 I had the amazing opportunity to tandem BASE jump off The Perrine Bridge with the "Absolute Best" in the sport, Sean Chuma. It was an honor and a privilege to jump with such a superhero human. Do a few minutes of research on him and his respect, love, and accomplishment in the sport will blow your mind. I was thinking of doing a "bucket list" adventure and wow was Tandem Base the perfect thing to do!! I never thought that I would ever jump off a bridge but Sean at Tandem Base made it happen! He is so nice and is very professional at what he does! The weather conditions weren't ideal for my jump but Sean made sure we would go at just the right time and we did! Even though I was really scared, Sean helped me the whole way! I thought maybe the climb over the railing of the bridge would be really frightening but with Sean it wasn't. I felt like I was just climbing over a fence because he made it feel safe! Everything about the jump was so amazing from the first moment of jumping in the air to the landing! Beautifully and skillfully done! The only part that was hardest for me was the rock climb out of the canyon. Sean was outstanding. We met this past Friday afternoon. It was a bit windy out and Sean recommended we meet the following morning. I very much appreciated the fact that he did not feel like we needed to get it done right then. He seemed to be all about making a great experience ending with a successful outcome and I am very happy we waited because that is exactly what I got. I have driven over the Perrine Bridge for a number of years now and wanted to do a tandem jump but I researched it until I found the most qualified tandem jumper with the most qualified jumps before I pulled the trigger. As a paraplegic I had some concerns about jumping, retaining my legs, etc but Sean had safe solutions for everything and made my first BASE jump experience flawless, he handled everything very professionally and made sure everything was explained clearly. What an exhilarating experience! I've thought about BASE Jumping for a couple of years and finally got around to doing it. I did my research before selecting Tandem BASE. Sean has a long history with both solo and tandem BASE jumping, that experience gave me comfort in trusting my safety to a stranger. I had heard about BASE jumping in Twin Falls through word of mouth, but when I stopped in the other day, the stars seemed to aligned, and I decided that it would be a great day to jump off a bridge. This was one of the coolest experiences that I have ever had! I am terrified of both bridges as well as heights. As a matter of fact, I attempted to simply walk out onto the bridge a couple days prior to the jump and was unable to make it past a few feet. This was an amazing first time experience! I wasn't expecting to BASE jump while in town from Ohio but when the opportunity came up (through a raffle - holy cow!) I couldn't believe it!. AMAZING!!! My BASE Jump was truly one of the most incredible experiences of my life. I cannot begin to describe the feeling of self-confidence and empowerment that I got from facing such a huge fear in the face. Sean was truly what made the experience top notch though. Woohoo! That's what I said when I did the jump with Sean. He is very experienced, thorough, and his directions are easy to follow. I watched him go through his pre-jump checks: the guy is a pro and is meticulous in every detail. I never felt unsafe through the whole experience.
