Upon taking a quick, curious look online at this place after my first meal, I was surprised to find that this place is not (yet) regarded in discussion about Calgary's finest Indian restaurants, as the meal I'd enjoyed had easily suggested that to me. From my perspective, the name of this business is exactly the service it provides. I did not recognize much of the menu outside of what is normally on an Indian restaurant in North America, aka about 50%. I used Google for a lot of the dishes because I've only ordered online, but other reviews have said that the staff are very friendly and are happy to take any questions. It is consistently amazing, quality food at a reasonable price. The menu is large but doesn't seem to buckle under its size whatsoever, everything I've had had been wicked fresh, implausibly flavourful and impeccably quality. I hope this place finds a lot of success! It is still young but I believe it has the makings of a legend among Calgary restaurants. Take the Passage.

For the Canadian travelers, read on ... The restaurant was almost empty when I arrived at 7 pm, so that was a bit of a warning sign. The server seated us and took our order. She offered us each a bottle of water ( not sure why tap water was not offered) and we ordered a bottle of wine. They did not have any of the Cabernet on the menu, so they offered us a different Cabernet at the same price. It was fine. Two things that struck me as strange: 1. The server brought us our wine and two glasses, but did not open the bottle. I had to walk up to the bar to get an opener, and open the bottle myself. Granted, we visited just after the Covid era, so I want to give them the benefit of doubt on staff hiring. It took awhile to actually get our food. Thank goodness we had the bottle . For diner we both had the lamb entree with a side of basmati rice and naan. The entree was outstanding, the lamb had a nice salt and pepper crust with great flavors. I think that the food here was flavored well and I especially enjoyed the Kati Roll as the paratha was really crispy. The portions are a bit on the smaller side though, especially for the price of each dish. Overall, I think it's a nice restaurant to have Indian food at if you're visiting Calgary.

I got the Butter Chicken Thali which consisted of butter chicken, dhal, roti, papadam and rice. I asked for the butter chicken to be spicy but the staff said the food is already spicy so I asked for extra spicy. The butter chicken was really good but super spicy (to my liking). The crispy papadam, roti and rice was so good with the dhal and butter chicken. I loved every part of the meal. I would def come back to wear here again!
