Thanks for that smile. There were so many items from local leather, clothing, and jewelry artisans. Coasters, keychains, hats, and gorgeous bags galore displayed throughout the store. Friendly service from behind the counter, and she let us peruse without lingering, which is appreciated in a shop with many unique items to explore. Can't wait to come back. The cost was around $80/shoe -- so $160 total for me. But, in effect, these are new shoes again. So, it is cheaper than rebuying a shoe (if it's a costly dress shoe or boot). This is definitely an old-school business. Cash upfront and the shop looks/feels as one would expect -- shoes, equipment, smell of varnish. It's kind of nice to see in a world where everything seems to be disposable. Give him some business if you have the need to rejuvenate some shoes, belts, luggage, etc.
