Instead of a refreshed balayage, my hair now looks completely different--darker, dull, and way overly brassy. This is not what I asked for, and it has ruined the dimensional color I had. I look sickly with this orange hair and the only option I have is either to bleach my hair again and damage it or darken it to a dark brown with no dimension. Either way I'll be waiting months to a year to start over and get the look I've been working towards. With this, they are not apologetic and don't take accountability. Don't go here!!

The reason I went to this salon is because my original hair salon raised their prices so much and I could no longer afford them, so had to look for an alternative. I searched and found this salon and thought their insta pics look good so I contacted them, sent them pics of my hair and the color I want to achieve and asked for prices and thought the price was reasonable and so I booked an appointment. I wanted to get bright blonde balayage, my hair already has balayage blonde but I had a lot of growth at the roots and wanted to get the roots done. On the day of my appointment my stylist informed me that we won't be able to achieve the color I want on my roots in one session, and that it would take three sessions. First of all this is completely untrue because I've been bleaching my hair bright blonde for 12 years and been getting blonde balayage for the past 5 , so I know very well what can and can't be done, and I've NEVER heard from any hair colorist I've worked with before that I would require more than one session to achieve the color I picked or any shade of blonde, I've always been able to get the color I chose in one session, never had any issues. The other thing is that when I booked through the phone and sent pics they never mentioned anything about requiring 3 sessions they should've at least informed me. I wanted to leave at that point but it was too late, so then I asked the stylist to show me pics of what we could achieve on first session, they showed me pics, it was a darker blonde than the color I wanted but I was fine with that and I agreed. However the color I got has literally NOTHING to do with the pic the stylist showed me, like ZERO similarity. The pic I saw was light blonde with lots of highlights, my color is a lot darker, it's not balayage it's very fine baby lights that look kind of stripy, I basically left the salon looking somewhat the same as I went in, to the point that no one around me even noticed I did something to my hair not even my family. Not only that but my appointment included color and styling but the stylist didn't style my hair they just blew dried it using a regular brushing brush not a blow drying brush and after they were done I still had wet pieces near the roots, and this was because the customer that was booked after me came so they rushed me. Now my hair is very curly and it was so humid outside and because 1-the blow drying wasn't done properly, 2- I still had pieces of wet hair, and 3- my hair wasn't styled with a styling iron, 10 minutes after I stepped outside it became this giant frizzy mess it looked crazy and the whole way home I felt so embarrassed being out in public with my hair looking like that. Overall my experience was bad, I deeply regret every dime I spent over there. Also the price is very expensive for the little amount of foils I got. The salon never offered to do a redo they just asked for more money to make it brighter, but even if they had offered a redo I no longer have any trust in them to correct the color. I will go back to my original hair salon even if it's a lot more expensive at least they do my hair amazingly well and I never have to go through this.

What wasn't expected was this time I'd be leaving with an Edward Scissorhands hack job. She has some skill but not consistent, apparently. I went back to get this resolved/adjusted but I strongly feel the onus was placed on me to make suggestions as to how to address the stylist's fail which resulted in a missing chunk of hair at my face and top layers 2 inches shorter than what we'd - mutually - decided on and a massive disconnect. The best practice would have been to consult the salon owners to give a second opinion when I came back, given she knew I was coming in with a problem. They do extensions at that salon and that could have been offered for what would have amounted to a small insert and not a free head of supermodel hair. Given I'm stuck with hours of additional work at my end amounting to more time out of my day and money on styling products the latter could have also been offered. My bangs were uneven and she couldn't even correct that minor imbalance without screwing up. The salon owner called to discuss which unfortunately was a complete defence of the stylist and lack of client respect. Apparently my getting a refund was supposed to be enough which hardly accommodates the months of dealing with a crappy service. Sure the salon comment will be something like "not a good fit" "miscommunication" as per my conversation with the owner or a suggestion I go elsewhere. I'm ahead of them on the last point.

She then revealed, she used a temporary dye on my hair (what??? Are you kidding me!!) and she is going to charge me more to re-dye my hair because she will now have to use more dye and it will come out of her pocket. Okay, so now I'm being charged for her mistake?? If she did it right the first time, I wouldn't be in this situation. No salon has ever used temporary dye on my hair. Now, instead of leaving at a normal hour, I was stuck waiting for her to finish my hair until midnight. During the 6 hours I was stuck at this salon I was famished. I wanted to eat dinner but could not because I was sitting in the salon. I also didn't want to eat dinner at midnight since it was time for me to schlep home and go to bed. Any who, my hair looked good when I left the salon but the next day something glorious happened. After I went in the shower (the stylist said this was okay) the dye ran out of my hair and I had no more dye in my hair. My hair faded in one wash! Was this really permanent dye? I really don't think so! I've dyed my hair for years and have never experienced anything like this. I would honestly NEVER return to this salon.
