I didn't win the contest, but I fell in love with the vibrant colours they offered, many of which are not offered at other salons. I emailed for an appt, but later called in on my lunch hour and booked an appt. I wanted to donate my hair, cut, and colour. I was given an appt for cut and colour consultation. (They also did email me back later that day! Extra points for having their communication channels available and monitored.) I just went for my cut today, and it was a fantastic experience. The salon is clean and modern. Angela was fun and professional. She measured, tied, cut, and braided for donation. We talked about colour and as I haven't coloured in about 20 years now, she gave some suggestions. Cut was done quickly and very well done. I was in and out within 1hour. The doctor I saw was very polite and kind and she explained the procedure and possible complications very precisely. We showed the lady in the front and she switched it for a new one which is good for my mom. However, I bought this three step skin care and I realized too late that the pump for the moisturizer was broken. I offered to fill out although not necessary as I only had a couple more sessions...left THEY INSISTED THAT IF I COULD NOT FILL OUT I WOULDN'T RECEIVE TREATMENT. Further as I became annoyed they offered a print out and quiet room to accomplish the request.Later in a text message, I was told it was a consultation appointment. I did not need consultation...I WANTED WHAT I PAID FIRST...AS INEFFECTIVE AS IT IS TURNING OUT TO BE. Since I have been denied service on a paid for service I am requesting my money back...on services not rendered $1277.31 They wasted my time and so I will not be returning nor wish to debate/ mediate the situation further. I sent a letter to their email site customer care....and received a response saying send to patient care which I did attention officer manager. Additionally they advise that services are...non refundable. However if they refuse or can not provide services,,,which I was told then monies have to be returned. I stumbled upon Sugar Me Spa on Google and read some mixed reviews, but decided to give this place a try anyways. I booked my first Brazilian sugar appointment through their online booking service in April 2019 at the RH location. Jasmyne was my aesthetician, she made me feel comfortable and walked me through the process of my service. I left not knowing what the results should look and feel like, but now that I've gotten a bunch of Brazilian sugars done (with another business), I can confirm that my experience with Sugar Me Spa was not great. I still had a lot of hair that hadn't been "pulled" out by the sugar, but I thought that's how Brazilian waxes were as it was my first time receiving one. It looked like I had shaved quickly and didn't bother to go over a second time to get all the remaining hairs. It didn't bother me as I trusted the process and was planning to book with Sugar Me Spa again once time came. Their online booking was extremely inaccurate in regards to the times and/or dates available for services. I booked my second appointment, only to be texted that the establishment was closed during the time slot I had chosen and I had reschedule. I wasn't able to reschedule, so I cancelled it instead. I booked another appointment 1 month later (with Jasmyne as I already dealt with her my first time around), through the same online system. I received another text a week before my appointment stating Jasmyne was not working during the date and time I had chosen. I was offered different dates and times to reschedule, however, time was too tight to reschedule. I asked if another aesthetician could provide the service, to no avail. I rescheduled my appointment 1 month later (with Jasmyne) in August 2019, only to be texted that Jasmyne couldn't make it to work and was asked to reschedule again... Overall, over a span of 4 months, I went once with mediocre results. Their appointment booking service is extremely hectic and inconsistent.

I highly recommend Sugar Me Spa. The only reasons I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is the inability to pay with card and that it took a bit to find as it is inside the natural health storefront while I was looking for signage for Sugar Me Spa.
