He truly does listen, and takes your imput as well as your treatment seriously. He needs to be on the cover of a magazine or something, because I was crying and vomiting from pain almost daily, hardly sleeping, and utterly out of hope. Such extreme pain makes you feel like you're going to lose your mind. Dr. Ky has changed everything for me (Tracy, the specialist therapist is a godsend as well), and I can say with full and complete confidence that this is beyond five star treatment. ESPECIALLY in America - it took me years to find someone like him and Tracy. They're on top of all the latest studies, and are happy to educate you whenever you ask. It's wonderful. This guy is a rising star, and now the staff is truly comprised of compassionate, angelic beings. Seriously, they are the nicest nurses ever. I think the beginning phase there just had a few post-opening hiccups. If you come in for a consultation, you will see why I instantly loved these people and wanted them to succeed so desperately. Pain management deals with individuals who are extremely stretched thin, worn out, and we don't rest well and therefore can feel quite sensitive. Being stressed about potentially not having your medication/being dropped as a patient is a constant fear a majority of us have, so it's seriously terrifying to assert yourself when asking for updates or whatever. That is not something you should worry about here, so long as you are cordial, obviouslt. It's so great and exciting that there's a solid team now who handle interactions in a way that makes pain management, well...painless. (Yes I'll see myself out) Keep up the good work, everyone!!! She came into my postpartum room extremely rude and hostile, didn't even smile, didn't even congratulate me. She was very condescending and seemed to want to make me feel intimidated based on her job title, once I even found out what her job title was after our altercation... She demanded to me rudely to turn my TV off because I kept asking her to repeat herself, even after my infant was crying over her and I couldn't hear her, I wasn't even aware she was the social worker because she did not state that, she must have used another term but I was unaware she was the social worker when she introduced herself and her job title to me, not once did she say "social worker". After she left I asked the nurse when the social worker would arrive and they told me that she was the social worker. Her name was Ganell? Or Janelle? I felt like she made decisions based off her own personal dissatisfaction and judgment toward me, and was extremely unprofessional and power driven, keeping me at the hospital and preventing me from being discharged as some form of personal punishment for not taking her attitude very well. I even overheard that based on her judgement; that I might have to stay until Monday, and the stress has been killing me, for reasons she kept me, she didn't even inquire about, or even ask me to explain anything regarding her own concerns. I came in Wednesday at 6cm dilated in active labor around 3am and have another child waiting for me at home. I've been here basically 3 days and counting and I feel like I am in a postpartum prison. I don't understand why they cannot continue investigating my case at home and let me go home. Even a lot of other staff members and nurses are confused that I am having to stay so long and were surprised that I was no longer able to discharge based off Miss Janell's orders and "discomfort" of me.

I…read morereceived my "blind" referral to him (meaning, I had no previous knowledge of him or his office) around March of 2022. I had a consult first (1April2022). At that point, the office staff handled my referral and getting it updated to include a third area before scheduling my procedure. On the day of said procedure (21June2022), I arrived and the process got going rather quickly and smoothly. I opted to no sedation, so I could drive myself home. Honestly, even without sedation, I would have rather not driven--my pain was kinda mind deafening for the drive home. Dr. Bourcy numbed me up good! Sure the needles hurt a bit for the local, but that's to be expected. All-in-all the procedure for all three teeth (two areas, all right in the front--one upper, two lower) took 2hrs flat. Today (28June2022), I had my one week follow up and everything is going swimmingly well with my healing. **FOLLOW THE POST OP INSTRUCTIONS** Today, my palate stitches were removed and a follow up for one week from today was scheduled to see about removing the graft stitches. (I'm sure they'll come out then.) I finally got to see how my gums are looking today. (See, post op... don't pull at your gums to see them--leave them alone!) ***THEY LOOK AMAZING*** I'm thoroughly impressed with Dr. Bourcy, his assistants (shout out to Ashley, who I think may be a perio intern!), and the admin staff. This office is ran like a well oiled ship (pun somewhat not intended). For anyone not using insurance, the total for my three gum grafts was $3,583. Here's the breakdown: 1st tooth: $1378 (this was my upper, tooth 9) 2nd tooth (tooth 24): $1378 Add'l tooth (adjacent to 2nd tooth, tooth 25): $827 I'm so thankful for Dr. Bourcy and his staff--and his willingness to continue serving his civilian and military communities! Right away I noticed his his technique, quickly got me numb and didn't wait long to check the status and get started. He was able to remove all three roots with preserving bone. He place bone augmentation, which is very important if anyone is removing a tooth!! His suture technique was tight and clean. His assistant Donna was made me feel comfortable and had her station clean and prepared for Dr. As much as I never want to lose another tooth! If I did, Dr Harbertson is the dentist I will always come back too! Germaine & the entire front and back office are equally amazing. I felt heard & supported. I felt understood and listened to. I felt empathy; I felt like I was having a genuine human interaction, which is getting rare these days. Absolutely everyone there was friendly AND professional! They completely humored me, put up with my bad jokes and nervous babbling & laughter; answered my questions and listened to my concerns. Germaine was the best! Super funny guy himself! I hate to say it, but he was my favorite. though everybody there was awesome. And let me tell you, Dr. Soelberg has a magic touch! I had 13 teeth extracted, 3 alveoplasty's with 3 sutures. And that was my second visit. I had an extraction a month before this and had zero pain afterwards. Then, I literally had almost zero pain at all 13 extraction sites. Now my jaw is another story. But that is normal & I'm grateful for the i uprofen. I'm not sure if it IS normal to have almost zero pain at the extraction sites, but I did not. I'm not even sure how that's possible.
