I was expecting some lovely vintage inspired frocks. What I found was a store I would call goth girl heaven. There were lots of corsets, short skirts with crinoline that peaked out the bottom, striped thigh-high socks, plaid pants with attached straps, bells and whistles, and even velvet bell-sleeved atrocities that looked exactly like the way I pictured adult witches wearing when I was 12. Yes, amongst all this was a healthy selection of retro-inspired dresses. They were much more 40's inspired than 50s or 60s, with the main thrust being the nu-pin-up look. I will say that I LOVE the pin-up culture and style of dress, and this would be a great place for modern day Betties to come find their wardrobes. But overall I felt the shop was just way too costumey and not wearable enough for the average gal.

Lo and behold, I found out they're a part of the same company/brand. How cool!! Same great products, same great prices. They even had a fully operating hair and nail salon inside. I barely had any vacant space in my luggage, but I absolutely had to grab some good deals and exit quickly lol. The store is huge and the various sections are easy to browse. It was also easy to spot employees walking around if you needed to ask for help.

They also do work-wear incredibly well. And while a lot of this office wear is pretty uninspiring, it's basic and not ugly and easy to throw on in the morning. They also do fabulous basics. If I need a tank top in a specific color, for example, I immediately head to H&M because I know they'll have what I need in the color I desire (and in every color of the rainbow) and it will be cheap as dirt. Their accessories are top-notch; I find that their hats, gloves and scarves are especially cute.

The clothes in here are really nice. they are sleek modern designs that are flattering to most…read morepeople as they are tailored really well, in my opinion anyway! they have some really different pieces that you will not find in other shops and of course they have classic styles that are available everywhere but the clothes in this shop just seem to be put together better. you can also buy shoes in here that are so very comfortable, the inside of the soles are cushioned (in the shoes i have tired anyway) which make high heels much easier to walk in. Now, the price, its much more expensive than any high street shop which means that i need to save up for anything i want to buy in here. I would generally only buy for special occasions as i cant really justify using the clothes from here for every day wear!

They stock brands like Diesel, Franklin and Marshall, Gas and Levi's. It's funky jean, hoodies, vintage-looking tshirts and beanie hats. They stock a lot of the same brands as BT2, but shopping here doesn't make you feel like you're giving in the huge commercial wheel that is Brown Thomas. The stuff is a little pricey, but you really do get what you pay for. Good quality stuff.
