I was a dedicated customer of Tantalizing Tan for 8 years. I bought the most expensive tanning packages they had available. But I got tired of going there, getting into the bed and there was ALWAYS one bulb not working, one fan not working, the radio not working, etc. My package ran out and I was going to renew it at a cost of over $200. But I wanted to try just one more session to see if anything was going to go wrong. I paid my $32 for one 10 minute session. Went in the room, turned the bed on and SURPRISE SURPRISE, one of the face bulbs was not working!!! I highly highly recommend you do not waste your money on this tanning salon!!! read more

They treat you as if you have never used a tanning bed. They are very pushy with sales of "their products." You must have a membership to tan. The vibe when you walk in is sterile and unwelcoming. It's a whole different experience than Tikitan and not in a positive way. They are constantly trying to make you buy something more. I will never tan here! read more

I WILL NEVER BE BACK HERE EVER AGAIN!!! I'm in town from Las Vegas, NV and actually own a tanning salon back home. I am from Myrtle Beach, SC originally and have been before. They provide decent spray tans, usually. However, the person at the front desk was honestly so unprofessional and rude. I believe her name was Nicki. As soon as I walked in, I greeted and said that I wanted a spray tan. She immediately said that I needed an appointment from now on since they're slammed on Wednesdays and Thursday's, but would work me in. The actual spray tan wasn't the worst but the entire back of my legs looked like they got missed and looked blotchy. My mom commented on it saying how my legs looked horrendous. I brought in a coupon that gives you 30% off a package or product from a local Attractions coupon book. She claimed I was not allowed to use it. On their website, it claims that memberships have $18 spray tans. She never explained memberships, or pricing. She takes me back to the room and told me to rub a prep gel spray all over me, acting like it is part of the spray tan. I found out later that prep gel costs $7 that she never told that. I wouldn't of wanted, or paid for that. I was expecting to pay $18 because of their website pricing. They NEVER posted how much a single spray tan costs, so it is incredibly misleading. She blamed me for not asking the cost of the prep gel, when I was never informed it was an additional cost. They charged me $50 for ONE spray tan!!!! That's ridiculous. And I even tipped $5, but wish I hadn't considering I left completely outraged. She also claimed she had notes talking crap about me from 2017 saying I tried to use a coupon. So they also have notes talking crap about all of their customers that give them a lot of money, just so you know. Incredibly unprofessional. The way this place does business is poor, misleading, and the worst customer experience I've ever had. They are condescending and act like they are better than you. Please go somewhere else for a better experience, like BlushTan Myrtle Beach, or R Salon and Spa (they have an unlimited monthly spray package for $60, which is the same as ONE at Tantalizing. I absolutely love this salon. I currently have the VIP membership, by far the best way to go if you want access to everything they have in the store, Meaning anything from tanning to a sauna. They have top notch lotions and moisturizers to choose from. Mrs. Rebecca does personalized spray tans as well, all so far have turned out gorgeous. You always feel super welcomed when you walk in the door. All the girls are awesome! read more

I like the people and it's a nice place, but the recent decision to close on Sundays makes it very inconvenient. I'm in the area on Sundays, it was just convenient for me to tan on Sundays. I think for next year I'll find a more convenient salon. read more

Bad customer service (owner as well), overpriced. Very pushy on products/upgrades. Gave it a try since they are really the only salon around besides ultra, but was very disappointed in how they made me feel when I said that I have my own lotion and eye ware and did not want to buy theirs. Bulbs were not as good as I had imagined (I burn easy so doesn't take much). Previously made a spray tan appointment but then they had cancelled on me so I never got to experience how they are with sprays. read more

I love this tanning salon! Has the cute vibe of a 'mom and pop' family-ran salon! Adorable decor; beautiful mirrors hanging in the walls, comfy chairs, the owners daughter made paintings for the halls. They recently got a new sauna that I tried out! Your first time is only $5! How cheap is that?! I love it! Wrap up in a towel, put the radio on, and relax and sweat lol. They also have both tanning beds and spray tans! What I love best is you can get a spray tan FROM A REAL PERSON! Back home where I'm from, a standing spray booth does your tan, so it comes out fine. But here, it's a person, so it's way more controlled!! If you're in the need of a tanning salon, this is the one to go to!! read more

First off l will never go back and give you my money. I've been going there for 2 years now paying 100$ for level 4 unlimited through that whole year as every employee has told me with the package I purchase it's Unlimited those 30 days throughout that year of purchasing. It was funny there system " was down couple weeks back now " I have to get another package. Really doesn't seem right, and another thing FIX your light bulbs the same 4 bulbs have been out in bed 2 for MONTHS! I will never spend my money there again lesson learned! read more

I've been going to this salon for years and I've always had a good experience. I received a "happy birthday" email offer for the salon that I could use during my birthday month. Which is great! But I received the email offer on March 26th with my birthday being March 27th. So I only had less than a week to use it for my birthday month. I figured if someone's birthday is around the end of the month, and you don't receive the offer until your actual birthday or day before, then they would consider that and allow it to be used within 30 days. But nope. I called and was told pretty much "too bad" and "just like everything else in the world right now, there's stipulations." Working in customer service I absolutely know this. But this makes no sense. I asked, well what if someone's birthday is on the 31st? They would only have that day to use it compared to if your birthday is on the 1st you have the entire month...doesn't seem too fair. She laughed at the question and "didn't have an answer for that." So, I just think it's an unfair offer and who ever I spoke w/ handled the situation poorly. read more
