I booked a spa experience weeks in advance at Chinzia Spa, and from the very beginning, the service was exceptional. Brionna handled our reservation--she was accommodating, knowledgeable, and genuinely authentic. It was such a pleasant surprise to learn she's from Michigan, near my hometown! Great first visit! A lovely space, nice staff and an excellent facial. We recently moved to Myrtle Beach and I am happy to have found a new place for hydrafacials. I get milia (tiny white bumps that resemble white heads) that need extraction, and the blackhead care is simple if a little uncomfortable. The moisturizing and ending roller massage were two of my favorite parts. I did as advised and stayed out of the direct sun, and wore a wide sun hat when I went to and from the car for the next (almost!) two days. My skin is absolutely glowing. We showed up for the appointments with my friend on crutches and I told them how ridiculous it was that they couldn't even offer to reschedule for later in the summer. They absolutely didn't care. I have been to Cinzia Spa several times for massage. During my recent visit in April I discovered that they have new chairs in the relaxation room which are really nice and comfy. The massage was awesome, she took the time to ask what I wanted and made sure that I was doing well during it. I felt that she did a massage for me, not just a generic treatment. I have never felt anything but totally relaxed here and always that I can communicate anything I want to. Going early and using the steam room is a regular thing. You can definitely relax here! I had the Dragonfruit Ritual at Cinzia Spa and wow--best spa experience I've ever had. I'm usually a diva, and admittedly difficult to please, but this one truly deserves 5 stars! The relaxation room was on point, the hot tub area was amazing (a little small since it was busy, but still so good). They even brought us champagne while we were in the tub, which set the vibe. When it was time for my treatment, I was taken to an elegant room with a bath tub, two tables, and a steam shower. My masseuse, John, was incredible--he made sure I was comfortable the entire time and used just the right amount of pressure. I left feeling completely relaxed (though I'm sure the three glasses of champagne helped, too). Will be back for sure! read more

10/10 Luxury Spa Experience in Myrtle Beach! Hi. I visited Cinzia with my mother on Friday, May 31, 2024, at 12pm. I booked a Island Escape Ritual for both my mother and I. The staff were all very welcoming, kind, and friendly. The online pictures don't do this Spa justice. The facility is fairly large and it's very nice, clean, and professional. It feels and looks like a high-end luxury Spa. Cinzia has a large relaxing Meditation Lounge where you will go to relax before your Spa service after you get changed into your robes. The robes and sandals Cinzia provides were incredible soft and comfortable! Complimentary wine, mimosas/champaign, water and snacks were provided to guests. However, Cinzia also offers sandwiches, lite lunches, and healthy fresh fruit smoothies for an additional fee. My service provider was Austin and he was an absolute rockstar who provided an exceptional experience from start to end!! I felt listened to and heard when discussing my pain and problem areas. Plus Austin was very considerate, informative, and instructive throughout the experience. He used the perfect pressure when doing the scrub and massage. Honestly, Austin provided one of the BEST complete massage experiences I have ever had at any Spa!! My headache and lower back pain melted away and I felt completely relaxed afterwords. Plus, he's hella attractive and a sexy voice to boot! I would absolutely recommend Cinzia Spa to anyone visiting Myrtle Beach. The prices are reasonable, there's no B.S. or hidden fees, no pressure, and you won't find better services or the complete Spa experience anywhere else. First I want to thank Gigi for being so welcoming and so hospitable and for having such an amazing attitude towards me she went above and beyond as far as customer service goes. I was greeted wonderfully shown where the robes are and handed a wonderful glass of champagne upon arrival. What a fantastic spa ! What a fantastic. Steam room! I want to go back! I got a massage from Austin and it was literally one of the best massages I've ever had. I've been to many spas including Ritz Carlton and four seasons and I would definitely say that his massages are something of that caliber. He knows exactly what he's and he's so professional! The meditation room is peaceful. May need a separate inside space for groups. Endless champagne, mimosas, wine!!! We ordered the sweet charcuterie tray. It was very nice!! It came with several items: cookies, mini cream puffs, fruit, lemon tarts, coffee cake slices, cookie egg rolls (best way for me to describe it!). We didn't know we would be set up outside as told there was no inside space. The pictures on the site give the appearance of it being inside. That just needs to be communicated, clarified better on the site or the menu. Overall, I had a great massage, enjoyed the facility and my friends expressed great services. read more

I had a dermaplane hydro facial which I highly recommend as well as the brow and lash tint that was also great. They have a lot of other amenities available that are complimentary with your service such as a jacuzzi and fully stocked showers etc. I wish I'd brought a suit for the jacuzzi! My one suggestion is to offer guests the opportunity to discreetly increase the tip for their associates. I actually heard this discussed in the locker room by other guests and my husband mentioned it after his massage the previous day. read more

All the staff we interacted with were super friendly and helpful. The spa manager was especially impressive as she had to handle a very unreasonable woman who yelled and her as well as other customers. It actually took me awhile to write this review, mainly because I was so mad I didn't even want to look at the name of this place. It's a long review but worth the read... Here's my story... My husband and I were from New Jersey and got married back in October 2021. During the time we got married, it was during the time frame when the Delta Variant came out. Unfortunately my wedding had a complete breakout. The night before our couples massage (which is a $500 service that is required to be paid in full before appointment) I felt fine and confirmed our appointment. The next day I woke up not feeling good but shrugged it off thinking it was just allergies. That's when I got a phone call that my dad tested positive for Covid, which was followed by two other people calling me telling me the tested positive for Covid. That is when I immediately went for a rapid test that turned positive. I called the Spa telling them I was sick and I won't be able to make my appointment and if possible I would like to reschedule it for another time. I was thinking about the people working there and cared about not getting them sick as well. They said we don't take same day cancellations and no refund what so ever can be provided for you. I told them I tested positive for Covid and the girl proceeded with well I'm sorry but there isn't anything I can do. So I said should I just come in for our appointment anyone since you are refusing my refund and have no sympathy for the situation? They said no if you have Covid you can't come in, so I asked for the manager to work something out, I was already devastated that my mini moon was ruined and now this place was just refusing to even care slightly about my position. I talked to the manager, told her I was from New Jersey and my situation and luckily we were able to work something out, she said if I came back within a year, she would honor my couples massage and put it in the computer that we have credit. I asked for an email or something to confirm and she said no don't worry sweetie it's in the computer feel better soon. Fast forward 10 months later, we decided to head to Myrtle around our one year anniversary and figured we would use the credit we had. When I called they said they do not do credits, that this reservation was a same day cancelation and there's nothing they could do about it. Once again I get on with the manager and had the nerve to ask if I had any email with a confirmation I can use a credit which they don't even provide. I reminded her that she said there was no need for that email because it was on the computer system and she just rudely said "well there's nothing here so we can't do anything for you." At this point I now know that she lied to me on the phone 10 months prior, probably figured because I was from New Jersey and wouldn't come back within a year or figured I would just move on and forget about it but unfortunately $500 is a lot of money to just forget about. Even half a refund I would have been happy but they had no problem just stealing half a grand from my husband and I. At the end of the day I was trying to be honest and not put the staff in harms way and they could have cared less. It was completely wrong and unprofessional what they did. They lied, had no remorse or care that I was being honest about testing positive for Covid. I even thought to myself should have I went in that day? Because I totally could have used a massage which my aching body desperately needed, but happy I at least stood by my morals and kept others out of harms way. Unfortunately this is the kind of place if you have a death of a loved one, or have an emergency or dealing with a global pandemic sickness they won't care if you are canceling the same day- oh well too bad, and honestly a place like that does not deserve any business from anyone. This is the second time I've been to Cinzia and it was for a facial. Let just say I have very sensitve angry skin and the staff knew exactly what I needed both occasions and completely calmed down my skin and I was left with a beautiful glow. I loved the spa facilities especially the waiting room and sauna I never leave myself enough time to use all the facilities before my appointment so I need to be better at doing that. I definitely will be back. The staff are so friendly and professional and care about your experience. I've been when it's super busy and I've been when it's slow out of season and regardless the service is just good and consistent. I was so happy to find this place. read more

I recently went back while on vacation and could not have been more surprised and elated to find that the Cinzia Spa experience is finally worth it's high prices!! During my full day of treatments there (massage/facial/mani/pedi) I was repeatedly saying how much better every single detail of the experience was and was told that there was a new spa director in charge - Christina. I believe she is responsible for taking this spa from so-so to the best in Myrtle!! I could not have been happier...Christina is clearly kickin' ass and takin' names - THANK YOU CHRISTINA!! Cinzia is a beautiful spa, a lovely place to spend an hour or an afternoon. One thing you might not consider--just go for a pedicure. Barbie is a great therapist, has a nice pedicure studio/equipment/massage chairs/polishes, etc. Cost at Cinzia for a pedicure is about the same as mainstream nail salons --for a much classier and more relaxing experience. Go Barbie! Then go hang out in the relaxation room, drink champagne, listen to piano music and read health magazines. A great way to take a break! read more

From the moment I walked into this establishment, I felt nothing but warm welcomes from everyone. I'm currently 18 weeks pregnant and I booked the couples island retreat. They catered to me and made sure I was comfortable during every step. They even brought in a pregnancy pillow to help me get more comfortable while laying on the massage table. Since I cannot lay on my stomach, I was able to lay on my side to get all services to my back and when I needed to lay on my back, my masseuse adjusted the table so that I wasn't flat on my back and uncomfortable. If you are looking for the best experience, this place is it. I couldn't find any negatives in this place. read more

I went for a massage in place of a friend today. I have gotten over 100 in my life so this is nothing new to me. The massage started out fine but was constantly coughing/ clearing her throat. Not relaxing at all. But then i noticed the lady was distracted by something. She would stop rubbing with two hands and transition into one and then slow down and completely stop for about 30 seconds until starting again. I thought... there's no way she's on her phone right now.. until i heard a video from her phone start to play before she quickly turned it off. However, this didn't stop her from being on her phone the rest of the massage. As the massage continued, I noticed how incredibly cold the room was. My hands and feet were cold as ice and i had goosebumps and was shivering the entire time. The table was not heated. As we kept going she moved onto my neck. I noticed how much oil she was putting onto my neck and continued this by adding handfuls of oil to my scalp and face. Before my massage I just spent over $100 getting my hair done, which was now ruined. My face received two handfuls of oil, which have since ruined my eyelash extensions (that I pay $100 weekly for). On top of all of this, the lady then dumped more oil INTO my ears. Literally jammed her fingers into my ear holes. I moved and shook my head in discomfort but she kept putting more and more oil into my ears and the folds of it, as well as behind them. Not a drop of oil was wiped from my body after the massage, leaving me like a rat in an oil trap. I went to the front desk and explained my disappointment, during which I could not hold back my tears, yet they still charged me for the service. After a few minutes they ended up settling on giving me a discount since I was unhappy. I will not be returning here ever. I am a local, as well as my friend and I have told her since to close her membership here. very disappointing. My massage was in a salt room with a really loud air conditioner which was not relaxing at all but massage was good. Was not happy with the massage or service. Upon arriving, I was escorted to the locker room and given a small tour of it. I was assigned a locker that had a fresh, very comfortable robe inside and instructed to head straight to the meditation room after changing, as if the amenities were in there. The robe I was given was too small for me (Makes sense because I was never asked what size I was) but I didn't realize it until I sat down to lounge in the co-Ed meditation room...... The meditation room is a room with lounge chairs & quiet spa music where you wait to be called for your service. The music in the room was very low...too low, if anyone made a peep or shuffled in their seat it was awkward for everyone. I wasn't offered champagne, tea or water until 40 minutes of being at the spa, 30 of those minutes I was in the meditation room watching a few others sip their refreshments. I noticed a couple across from me and a woman sitting near me were not offered champagne or refreshments either for a while...... I arrived an hour early to enjoy the amenities of the spa, and, to my disappointment, I found out upon arrival that I couldn't use 2 of the 3 amenities they advertise, the salt room & jacuzzi. I was told they stopped offering the salt room as an amenity and it's now converted into a "salt room massage room". Therefore it's not a use as you please amenity anymore. Not sure how you get assigned to that room though for a service?... The other amenity, the jacuzzi, I found out is outdoors not indoors (like they show on their website) and was therefore closed because it was raining. I wish I knew those 2 things ahead of time so I was prepared..... That was very disappointing. So if you're wondering the spa doesn't have much amenities besides a jacuzzi, steam room & shower. My massage was the worst I've ever received, sorry to say. Not only was I instructed to stay lying face up for 75% of the service, but there was barely any pressure applied or any notable massage techniques experienced. The therapist did ask me if the pressure was OK and I asked for a little more pressure..... and she went from 0 to 100, it hurt sooo bad. I immediately and politely then asked her for less pressure and for something in the middle and she didn't know how, it was all or nothing. She wasn't even following the muscles of my body or knots I had. I think a muscle/myofacial anatomy training course is needed..... The massage also didn't last the whole 50 minutes. From start to finish it was 44 minutes not 50. Considering the spa is over priced for the area, these things should not be happening. I spoke with the manager to express my dissatisfaction and she did hear me out but was also defensive, sarcastic and apathetic while doing so. As a resolution for my bad experience, I was offered a complimentary day pass to come back to the spa to use their steam room and jacuzzi but was not given any sort of refund or credit. I was told I could take back the massage therapists 20% tip I had given her, but I declined. I couldn't take money from an employee who is working to make a living and probably already accounted for her tip money. The 20% that I was offered to get refunded should have came from Cinzia Spa itself, who employs, trains and is responsible for the spa employees. With that being said, I would be willing to come back to try out another massage therapist and enjoy the steam room + jacuzzi. But I learned a big lesson for next time I choose a masseuse anywhere I will be asking others who they recommend..... I don't have time to sift through and try out people who are not seasoned at the expense of my hard earned time and money. Overall, the tranquil music and smells of aroma therapy were appreciated and you can tell they are using high quality massage products, linens, towels, robes, shoes etc... I really enjoyed the steam room also, it was amazing. The rolled up washcloths in the stainless steel ice bath for when you get out of the steam room were one of my favorite touches.... The locker room was the star of the show to be quite honest. It was very clean and kept up with by the hour. The towels were well stocked of all different sizes and folded aesthetically on the shelves. They have shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the showers and multiple large mirrors/a blow dryer/cotton swabs etc for afterwards. The showers are very large and have hooks for you to hang your belongings inside the shower. Although my experience in the locker room was great, for the $200+ I spent on my "spa day", it wasn't worth it. As I come to the end of this review, I wanted to point out that Kristina & Giovanna showed great hospitality, attentiveness, concern, kindness and professionalism. Just to note: the light was out on the pull out magnification mirror by the sinks and my shower door wouldn't stay shut..... and there were 4 opened rolls of toilet paper thrown on top of the toilet tank. read more
