He's careful to take time with each patient and really listen to what is going on. Then he carefully decides the action plan, carefully selects the types of tests he needs to run to identify the root of the problem and utilizes the information to get his patients well from the inside out. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients and deep down he IS genuinely a good person. I nearly died. I'm 6'1" and the treatment took me from 235lbs to 135lbs in months with almost constant seizures. ALL the doctors I saw at FCPP would not see me after the misdiagnosis because they feared getting involved with the mess that DePaz made of my body. Real cowards. Ibrahim kept making me sit in the waiting then rescheduled knowing Ibrahim would not treat me because of his colleagues medical negligence. This practice is a mess. It's a torture chamber. The Hospital's staff and the wonderful Dr. Vida Chen, a Gastroenterologist are "ALL SUPERIOR / FIVE STARS RATING" members of the medical field!! My wife and I NEVER in our 65 years of existence, ever met such a loving, caring, keen listeners, attentive, accommodating Doctor, or Hospital staff members ever before!! It was like we entered the fictional "Leave It To Beaver" Hospital zone, where EVERYONE is so sweet, and caring, something we NEVER experienced in the Bay Area or at any Peninsula Hospitals! The first 16 oz dose of the Suprep mixture, and the following two 16 oz doses of cold water made me so nausea! The second go around at 4 am the following morning wasn't as bad, and my stomach calmed down by the time I had to head to the Sutter Health Surgery Center. Upon entering the Sutter Health Surgery Center, and engaging with the delightful staff, a calmness flowed over my anxiety. And when the GREAT Dr. Vida Chen came to my bedside to met me, prior to the procedure and patiently had a personal one on one Q&A session with me. I felt SO AT PEACE!
