They served delicious little snack crackers with the tea. Often these are shrimp crackers that leave a taste in your mouth like you've licked an old sea net. These were fresh and crisp with a little bit of heat. Not too much, just a nice flavor. The Vegetable Egg Foo Yong was also delicious. It was clearly cooked fresh with delicate vegetables that didn't overwhelm the omelet. I've had it from one other Chinese restaurant in Zwolle and the one I had here was far superior. It is served here in Holland with sweet sauce. That's initially a shock but in this case, the sauce was subtle and complimentary to the dish versus the other place where the omelet was just drowning in sticky goo. The fried rice was very good as well. Once again, subtle flavors of green onion and egg in the veggie version I requested. Overall, great experience.

This could easily be the place-to-be in a hip city like London or Berlin, and prices (or portions) would like be much higher in that case (or smaller). So, to stay objective: food is 100% original Japanese, and the quality is one that is just above everything else in its category in Münster, and again could easily rival much more expensive Japanese restaurants in the big cities. The personnel is super friendly, actually a family owned business and you can feel that. The chef enriches the traditional sushi with welcome twists from his former positions in High class restaurants in Germany and Japan, while the senior cooks meat, fish and vegetables on the grill to perfection. Though the menu has a focus on sushi, there is plenty of other dishes to explore. Such as a nice variety of starters, great dishes from the grill, as well as some menus, and surprisingly uncommon ice creams. Drinks are great too, and prices are absolutely fair. We only had a few small plates, but what we had was fresh, well prepared and as good or better than any Sushi/dumplings/rolls we've had. Wish we could have stayed and enjoyed the 2 1/2 hour, 5 course sushi extravaganza. Hope to hit back to NL and will make sure this is one of our stops!
