Le 101 had 5-star reviews on Tripadvisor but hardly anything on Yelp. Stunning! Ambiance was very relaxed and welcoming for quite an upscale place and our server was extremely attentive. Best choice, probably the gravlax and pate-croute but also the omelette was delicious. Definitely go for the waffles as a dessert, the blueberries were right in season. If/when we are back in Quebec City, we may consider staying at their Bed and Breakfast as well. If I'd be able to give 10 stars, I'd do that too. Amazing.

Their website states they're specialized in cooked charcuterie, so we decided to try it out and it was a pleasant experience. The restaurant has a relaxing atmosphere with light music. They also have a few tables outside under the roof (ideal if you prefer "under the shade" patio seats). Both the charcuterie platter and the cheese platter are certainly the highlights. Our server was very kind to describe each cured meat and cheese in details. While we all have our own preferences, our group agreed these are of very high quality! We also ordered a few lunch plates to share - crepes, sausage & eggs, etc. They're freshly prepared and are served in a hot pan which kept the food nice and warm! My family is staying at the hotel for my mother's 60th birthday. We are probably not in the economic class of their typical guests, but we all saved up to have a nice time. One night in our stay at around 21:50, we went to the bar. The bar does not take reservations, so we expected a wait. We went up to the host and they told us to expect a 25ish minute wait. As we waited, we saw group after group walk straight into the bar after talking to the hostess. At first we thought maybe these people had already put their name in and it was their time to be sat. After about 45 minutes it was pretty clear that we were just being iced out. We waited until about 23:00 before we gave up and got Mcdonald's which honestly was probably much better service than we would've got at the bar. Honestly I would recommend against the entire hotel for anyone who is not rich or Québécois.
