The store itself is spotless, beautifully organized, and boasts an impressive selection from Vietnam, Japan, the Philippines, Thailand, China, and beyond. The freezer aisle is loaded with treats--fresh produce, dumplings, ice cream, sausages, seafood, and more. I also spotted fresh fruit like bananas and mangoes. The noodle aisle? An absolute dream for instant ramen lovers and home cooks alike, featuring everything from ready-to-make ramen packets to a variety of rice, soba, and udon noodles. There are a number of explanations, but one of them referred to the greater Syria area. I didn't ask the background of the owner as I felt it would be too obtrusive. We saw the candies, snacks, halvah, honey, refrigerated/frozen items, canned goods, etc etc etc. My husband has been wanting to try Dubai chocolate, but the bars are about $25. And he was hesitant to spend that amount of money on something he wasn't sure he'd like. Here, they had small samplers at $4 each. Perfect! Good to know they are conveniently located should we need to get something that they carry.
