I have been trying to find a place to get my haircut for years. Usually I follow the coupons I find in the mail leading me to "something or other clips" but I never want to go back to those places. I finally decided to try Tapered after my hair was becoming unbearable and I had an interview coming up. After seeing ads on Facebook, I made an appointment to see what this place was all about. I had the best experiences of any place I've ever gone to get my hair cut at, and that is saying something. I take my son and we get our cuts done together. All of their stylists are skilled and at the top of their game. Amanda does mine usually and is nothing short of spectacular. I won't ever be going anywhere else! And lastly, their online appointment booking is a complete game changer! No more waiting in the que for your turn, not knowing who's going to do your hair and how badly they'll screw it up like the other places. Tapered is, in my opinion, the best barber shop in the area. I've checked out a lot of them and love this place. They have full barber services including a great hot shave. Amanda is fantastic and has done my hair cut and shave several times and knocks it out of the park every time. You can grab a drink while you wait, then watch the game while getting your hair cut. This I by far the best place to get a hair cut in St. Louis. They have amazing workers their. For example Kayla cuts my hair and even will recommend things with out being pushy to try to get a sale. This place has a great atmosphere that is extremely comfortable! I started going here to follow Kayla. She has been been cutting my hair for over 3 years now and I wouldn't go to anyone else! I love this place because they take their time and do it right. Every time I've went I've gotten the haircut I wanted and ended up with happy results. Also don't listen to Joel because he's completely wrong and handled his situation like a child, not everything will be on time and sometimes you need to speak up yourself if something seems wrong instead of walking out like a child. I have gotten my hair cut by Maria about every two weeks for about a year and she is PHENOMENAL. She always has the best smile on her face, very friendly and does some kick ass haircuts. I got married last week and she came in a early in the morning to get my hair the perfect way and to cut my groomsmans hair. Love this place! Been going to Deena for about 6 months to get my beard trimmed and my sons haircut. Deena takes her time and has to be one of the most detailed barber/stylist I have ever been to. I love this place. I never was one to get my hair cut all the time, but walking in one day Amanda Paige cut my hair and I would never go anywhere else. This was my fist visit. Amanda took the time to ask how I liked my hair cut, gave me suggestions and asked afterwards if it was what I wanted. The cut was very good, just what I asked for.
