They accommodated the bridal party in a timely manner. They were very organized and made our party feel very special (not just like another wedding party). My hair is very thick and can take a lot of work for an up do. I was very pleased with my hair. It looked amazing and it even held for the 16 hour day (and probably would have never fallen if I never took the pins out to wash it)! If I was not having a destination wedding, I would definitely have my hair done at Studio 1 Hair Design! We did not just feel like clients, we felt like we were invited into their home. They were able to get all of us finished in a timely manner, so we were able to stay on schedule, and most importantly, our hair looked fabulous and held for the long day ahead (it even survived a rain storm)! The bride had her makeup done and I wish I would have done the same....she looked absolutely stunning! As a side note, my sister gets her hair cut at Studio 1 Hair Design and always loves it (I live too far away), so if you are in the St. Charles/O'Fallon area, you definitely need to check out Studio 1 Hair Design!

Sherry told us we need to keep getting her haircut every 6 weeks because of the blonde and how damaged her hair gets with sun and chlorine. Sherry also said she should sleep with a silk pillowcase to help prevent her hair grabbing and tangling at night. Then to braid her hair at night. Not to use any other hair ties but scrunchies. Buy moisturizer for her hair and put it in every day in middle and ends doesn't need to be at the top because her hair dries out a lot. Sherry said the cut is much better and will help her hair grow healthier, it won't break as quick if we do all the above. Finally Sherry said to also said before she goes in the pool to spray it down with water to prevent chlorine damage because her hair is so blonde. This salon lied and told me that they do have a master colorist and an experienced hairstylist. The hairstylist I got was a very young lady who only had 2 years of experience of being a hairstylist and who did not know what she was doing. Not only did she not wash my hair, properly (after putting the color on me), but then she also did not even colored all of my roots (as I had specified in my initial phone call with the salon). I had mentioned all of my concerns to this front desk lady, who was smirking and giggling silently. Nobody was concerned enough to talk to me as a paying customer and it was very obvious that they only care about getting money. The owner of the place did not talk to me, at all.
