So glad I stopped by Taphouse for dinner this evening.
The inviting laidback atmosphere and warm service was exactly what I needed after a long flight from California, with entitled children, rude passengers, and a pervasive air of anxiety that's become "normal" nowadays.
I opted for a pint of Guinness on tap (of course!) and asked for food recommendations. My server said the New York deli (pastrami and Swiss melt) was popular, but added that her favorites were the chicken pesto and the tuna melt.
Not in the mood for seafood, I opted for the chicken pesto.
Which was filling, gooey, and delicious!
And "paired" perfectly with my Guinness!
Total bill (before tip) - a modest £15.50.
