This place is phenomenal. The authentic Mexican food here reminds me of growing up... Enchiladas just like mamá use to make! That gravy is... SO GOOD. The tacos are the best I've had in BCS and I've tried lots around here. Aside from not offering lengua, I couldn't ask for a better taco. The corn tortillas are fresh and tasty. The carnitas are the best I've had here in BCS... And don't even get me started on the red and green salsas. They are perfect. I do wish they offered a really hot salsa though. The fact that this place is only a couple of miles down the road from where I live in Wellborn is both a blessing and a curse. Do I WANT to visit Allende every day? Yes. Do I NEED to visit Allende every day? Definitely not. P.S. I'm sorry there are no pictures. We can barely make it in the door at home before we start scarfing down this stuff. This is has been a staple in my house since coming to College Station. We are at this truck probably 3-4 times a week. We love the family that owns it and the food is wonderful. It's not overpriced and it's extremely tasty. Definitely try it if you're on the fence! read more

So happy we took a chance on this hidden little gem of a taco truck! I had 3 different tacos (chicharon + egg, chorizo + egg, & chilaquiles) with added cheese (+ .50 cents per taco) and all were so delicious. The salsa that comes with them is great too (red is adequately spicy). My wife ordered the burrito plate and she loved every bite but couldn't eat it all. She got too full but is devising plans to eat the leftovers as I type this love letter. I imagine everything on the menu comes as large portions. The prices are very cheap if you compare to anywhere else in College Station. The lady that took our order was very nice and patient to us newcomers. We will surely be back! read more

You'll drive right past this place if you aren't paying attention, but man is the stop worth it. The couple that runs it is so nice and the food they are cranking out is top notch. I usually go for breakfast tacos like chorizo or migas, and they knock them out of the park every time. The beef fajita plate is what i get for lunch and the meat is insanely flavorful. This place is amazing! The menu has a lot of other items besides tacos. I always get the beef fajita tacos but I like that I can change it up if I wanted. Their hot sauce is flavorful and spicy! A taco truck is nothing without a good hot sauce. I love that I don't have to travel all the way to Bryan to get some real tacos, this is the only place I know of in College Station and I definitely recommend it for someone in need of a quick bite to eat. I go to this taco stand more than I'd like to admit lol they have great food and they are always so nice. My go-to's are the beef fajita torta and their beef fajita tacos with their green sauce.
