This is a no frills type place but it's clean and organized. On this particular day I ordered the following: 1. Birria Pizza (roughly $21 or so) it includes 12oz of consume. Two oversized flour tortilla stuffed with tender, beef birria and cheese) then grilled like a quesadilla. Topped with (which I got on the side) diced white onions, chopped cilantro, pickled red onions and drizzled with a vibrant "green sauce" which was creamy (an emulsified salsa verde taquera) and a fiery red sauce which was significantly spicer than the green and limes on the side. And the consume to dip your pizza birria in. The consume is served piping hot and is so flavorful. This is the broth in which the birria was cooked in. This is my favorite thing to order at Tacos Humildes. 2. Mexican Rice (roughly $4.50). Rice was pretty standard, nothing memorable. But I definitely felt the price-point was off. I received about 9 oz of rice. A bit overpriced for an inexpensive food item. Rice is a few cents on the dollar and really inexpensive to prepare, so almost $5.00 is ridiculous. The restaurant has plenty of indoor seating and AC works great. The cashier, Diana was also prepared the food. She was super friendly and really engaging.
