Barely looks big enough to be a restaurant to be honest. The place has more of a homeliness to it, which can be charming if wanting to focus on the good meal. Any decent Mexican restaurant should have margaritas as well as free chips. It's about $9 for the cheapest margaritas. These have several flavors including classic lime, as well as mango and strawberry. Maybe these aren't too strong, but there's enough to get a buzz. The food has typical favorites like tacos, and because it's authentic there's also tortas. It's about $12 for a burrito. These are pretty big and packed full of stuff. Lots of fajita vegetables and especially great with jalapeños. These can be made vegetarian by not getting meat. If wanting meat though, you have choices. There's beef, chicken, chorizo, pork, steak, and tongue. Check the hours before going. It often closes for private parties. These often happen on weekends.

I put one of the sauce cups next to the wrapped taco to give you an idea how small these tacos were. I also took a picture with my hand next to it for a similar comparison. Nowhere on the menu did it say the tacos were mini street tacos. These tacos cost us with the cheese added $4.05 each. The only reason for the three stars is that the tacos were very good. Large meat/deli section. We were hungry and discovered their little counter order restaurant within the grocery store. Between the 2 of us we had the Mexican chicken tacos with cilantro & onions. Sorry - I took the pictures after I devoured most of the taco. It was very good & I highly recommend. They also had a counter where they sold ice cream. Maybe next time we will try that. They have another location in downtown Crystal Lake located at 131 N Main Street. The employee that took our order was very nice. English was not her first language so one of the other employees helped her ring up our order. We had our hot meal in about 5 minutes. We will return!

The price was somewhat steep but the portion and weight was definitely hefty. The food was scrambled eggs layered with corn tortillas, beans, cheese, and sauce. I wasn't crazy about it but it is more my personal taste with corn tortillas. This happened to be a solid dish and I would recommend checking them out.
