The salsa is good, the rest is scary. Like hospital scary. We went here for the first time on my birthday and found out quickly that the food is not friendly for people with shellfish allergies. We ordered drinks, a frozen strawberry margarita and a lime margarita on the rocks. For dinner my husband had the nachos panchito and I had the Pollo y Espinacas. Approximately 5 minutes into my husband eating and drinking his lime margarita, he had to go to the bathroom. Then to the truck. Finally, to the hospital as his chest tightened and he began throwing up in the parking lot. He is having ALLERGIES TO SOMETHING SHELLFISH!! After getting him help, I called to speak with someone out of fear that a child would be introduced to this contamination. Nope!!!! Sent to voicemail! I'm pissed. So so so mad that I'm seeing red! DO NOT GO HERE EVER!! Not only did they make my husband so sick on my birthday, they wouldn't answer the phone when I called to warn them of the mistake. Fuck this place and everyone that contributed to this experience. Thank God the hospital was close! I never received a return call, an apology, nothing! The rice is the worst I've ever had. Even worse than cafeteria rice. The street rice is bland because all the flavor is washed off the liquid it's sitting in. The server Lalo (Eduardo) didn't know what the green salsa is made of. The tacos where just that corn tortilla and the meat. Al pastor was on the chewy side and the Asada was tasty. What really sucked is that I order 2 asada 2 al pastor tacos, side of rice and beans. , They brought me 4 asada. When I told them that they had made a mistake the server said if I didn't let him throw them away then he was going to charge me. Yes!! charge me for his mistake or let him throw it away. I'm sorry I hate seeing people just waste food. So I paid for his mistake. If you like real Mexican food it's not good! Very little spice in their hottest salsa. Or maybe he didn't know. Repurposed trailer but don't let the appearance keep you away! We were greeted upon entry and told to sit anywhere. Once we selected a table the server brought over menus and took our drink orders. We ordered and placed a few Togo orders for other staff that couldn't leave for lunch. The food was hot, fresh and tasty! It didn't take long for the food to come and our server was very attentive! We recently relocated here from Arizona and was craving and longing for Mexican cuisine. Pancho Villa was the highest rated in the area so we gave it a shot, after being warned not to set our expectations too high because of where we we came from. The restaurant was quaint enough and the staff was OK but it just wasn't ANYTHING what we were used to. The salsa seemed to come from a pistol Pete's bottle, the chips tasted stale, the menu was VERY limited and my wife is used to getting shredded beef tacos however they only served stewed beef tacos....we don't even know what that is! I got the quesadilla and even that was lacking....just wish I could give this more than I did however just cannot bring myself to do so. read more

Driving through, the half way point of a 4 hour drive. So glad we stopped! My son had the fajitas and he cleared his plate. My husband had chicken chimichanga and said he would order again. The corn taco shells are made fresh. I had two taco bistec (steak). It was delicious. My mom had a burrito and stuffed pepper and she liked hers also. What a pleasant surprise after being so disappointed with other restaurants on our visit in Waycross. The combo fajitas were delicious, including very fresh shrimp. The grilled fish tacos were also cooked well with corn tortillas and plenty of lightly seasoned fresh fish. No over abundance of salt here thank goodness! The fresh guacamole only needed a dash of salt and a squeeze of lime to make it perfect. Complementary chips were good, not salty and greasy. The salsa was adequate but nothing to rave about. In addition, the fajita portion was much larger than the norm. Hubby needed a to go box, which is unusual lol. Service from our southern local gal was fun! Had family dinner here- four of us. We ordered appetizers beef and chicken changitas. They were so delicious- great taste, fresh, and satisfying. We also ordered a side of pico and queso. Our dinners were steak nachos, chicken and beef burritos, and chimichanga. All the food was hot, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Service was excellent! After going here yesterday, I can honestly say this was the worst restaurant I have ever been to. The beans and the rice both had a flavor you just couldn't pick out but I'm sure it was more bad than good! My burritos weren't spoiled, but they didn't taste good either. We showed up at 9:30 and one of the gals said "oh, are you wanting to dine in or take out" were said take out and she was still hesitant and turned to her CO worker and asked if she wanted to take us and they just froze. I think it handles if you change anything on the menu. For example your meal with rice is $8.00. The main course is $6 and the rice or beans is $2. Still $8 but it looks strange on the bill. This is the taqueria that introduced my family to the genre. it features Mexican and American tacos, the Mexican tacos are on hand made corn tortillas and delicious. They have barbacoa, al pastor, la lingua, and pollo. The barbacoa is rich and buttery cheek meat slow cooked to pot roast consistency garnished with onions and cilantro and served with a lime wedge, greasy but delicious it is my favorite. Their tamales are hand made and excellent but not always available. We have not tried anything there that wasn't good. My favorite is fajitas Pancho Villa, my wife prefers pollo loco and my son craves the pollo con crema. We usually also order a tamale or two to share if it is our only meal of the day. Been hearing good things about this place, and since they just moved into a new double-wide (lol), we decided to give them a try. We went on a Sunday and just beat the church crowd. We ordered 3 different entrees and cheese dip. Although the dip was a little runny, it was the typical yummy cheese dip, and the complimentary salsa was mildly spicy with warm chips. I have been twice so far and have not been disappointed. Great service and food. For me, the most important thing is how wheelchair friendly this place is. They have made a great effort to ensure plenty of tables where wheelchairs fit instead of lots of booths. Also, the ramp outside is so well constructed. Stopped in on a trip back from Savannah and was pleasantly surprised. We tried a couple bbq restaurants first but apparently Waycross heavily observed the Sabbath. They were super busy due to the church hour rush. Anyway Mexican is usually our go to because it's all so generic. We started with the salsa and cheese dip. Good, not the best salsa ever but our meals made up for it. We had the chicken nachos with chipotle, mushrooms and jalapeños( can't remember the name) and the quesadilla Mexicana with steak.
