It's no longer Loco Burrito. It's Nana's now, but Loco Burrito was a great place to eat.

If I could give it a negative score I would in a second. Usually Locos is good but not today. Party of 4 placed an order and one got a margarita, that's where the problem started, NO TOQUILLA in it at all. Complained to the manager and of course she wants to charge us $10 for a drink or call the cops. If it was just me I'd face her my number and told her to call the cops but since there were 3 others we tossed her some $ for the non alcoholic drink and left. I'll never go back. Service was good. Food however, was average. The chips and salsa were cold and bland. The chorizo tacos had good corn tortillas, onions, and cilantro. But the actual meat tasted like burnt bacon bits. The steak in the burrito had no flavor whatsoever. Not even salt. The restaurant was clean. But we won't be coming back. read more

The food was good but our server this time was horrible, her name is Kristin(not sure of spelling), but she was rude to us as well as other customers and to the other staff. We have had great servers in other occasions but tonight was absolutely horrible. I will be contacting the owner/manager about this lady. If we have to deal with her again, we will not be coming back and I've shared this with many friends in the area. read more

Food was great!!! However...small problem... our waitress included gratuity in our check, which is fine BUT she wrote over it "have a nice day" so that we couldn't see that the gratuity was included. Seemed like she was trying to double dip...for a tip. That's just sad. And disappointing. Wonder how many more were done like that to other customers? We are pretty good tippers, she would have made more of she hadn't tried to be shady. read more

I'm a local and eat here all the time. I've never had a bad meal. I can't speak for the chicken dishes as I typically get the steak fajitas or the steak taco salad. The drinks are good and the salsa and cheese dip is great! read more

This is run of the mill tex-mex...in a good way. It was good and exactly what I want in a tex-mex restaurant. My only complain was that the service was a little slow. I only complain because I was literally the only customer in the restaurant upon arrival. That didn't change until I was leaving, so It was a little strange that it was as slow as it was. We all have a taste for Mexican food, but we may not always be in the mood for making it ourselves or prefer a better experience then one from Taco Bell. Loco Burrito can help satisfy that appetite. Loco Burrito is a small Mexican restaurant located at 3351 US-84, Blackshear, GA 31516, it's tucked in a small commercial area with other restaurants, stores, and clinics. The restaurant is opened all week long from 11:00am to 10:00pm. The area isn't to large so bigger trucks might have a harder time getting through, parking is also quite a challenge since the area is small making it a little hard to park close to the restaurant. I didn't have much trouble with parking on that day I went to eat, but I imagine it would be a lot harder on busier days for many people around. Once I was inside it was relatively cool inside, not freezing cold but cold enough to be comfortable. There is Mexican decorations all around the restaurant, so it never looked boring around the place. I was quite clean, with no major stains or messes around so they do a good job keeping it clean. There was also plenty of sunlight inside so it didn't look to dark and had blinds so the sun wouldn't be directly in my eyes. I was almost immediately greeted by a waitress who showed me my seat, the place itself was quite silent other than regular Mexican music playing in the background, giving it a relaxing atmosphere, It wasn't very crowed either. Though whenever I do eat their it's usually hardly ever crowed so you don't have to worry to much about large crowds or waiting in line. When I sat down the waitress was quite quick and immediately provided me a menu and asked for something to drink. I ordered lemonade and she went off and gave me a basket of tortilla chips that you always get in Mexican restaurants. The lemonade was the regular minute maid lemonade but it still was good enough to quench my thirst, I was cold with it's ice and was thankfully not to sour, when I go to other restaurants to order lemonade I would need to use sugar packets to make it sweeter, but for this lemonade I didn't need to use sugar so the restraint definitely did something right with it. The chips themselves were pretty good, very fresh and crunchy but were soft enough to eat without trouble as well tasting warm inside the mouth. The salsa that comes with was the more mild type that didn't taste to spicy but not bland at the same time, it had the right balance to it making it a very good complement to the chips that were eaten with. I didn't eat the whole basket, but it was a satisfying enough appetizer to help with my hunger while I waited for my food. Only after a few minutes passed after being provided my drink, my waitress asked for my order, and I ordered a Chicken Quesadilla with just cheese with no sides (I'm not a fan of rice or beans) with a specific cheese sauce on the side, unlike the salsa I had to order this separately to eat with it. Only after about 10 minutes my order finally came. The quesadilla was definitely freshly made but not to hot, so they can be immediately be eaten without burning the mouth. It was quite delicious some of the best quesadillas I've eaten, the warm crisp flour shell tasted soft and flavorful with it cooked just right being brown enough to not be burned. The sliced chicken was cooked to mesh well with the shell, having plenty in each slice not being to limit on the amount of meat. Though the chicken did seem to fall out easily if eat it in a certain way so watch out for fallen pieces. The cheese was the best part in the quesadilla as like the rest of the meal was fresh and warm, sticking and keeping the pieces together without oozing out of the meal. The best part of it was the specific cheese dip I ordered, it help add extra flavor into the meal, with coat of cheese complimenting the other ingredients giving me a great taste that I would have never experienced had I not asked for it so I definitely recommend getting it. After finishing up my waitress gave me my bill which came up as $10.68, the quesadilla was $7.49, and the lemonade was $2.50, the salsa chips were free as usually in these places. The price for the quesadilla was ok, about twice as much from what you get at taco bell but in better quality, the lemonade I thought was a bit much compare to so other places, though you do get free refills so that balances itself out. You don't have to wait for the waiter to put out a check book and wait for her to finish, you can just walk up front to the register and pay the bill their along with the tip. In the end this was a good place to eat. It may not be the fanciest place, but it was still in high quality. I liked the service I was given the waitress was polite and was quick with my services, so It took only less then a hour for me to eat there and gave me what help that I needed. So, I would definitely give the service an A. So up for a Mexican meal, go for the Loco Burrito, it is worth it. read more

Myself and six member of my family arrived at Loco Burrito on Saturday, March 4th, at around 7:40 PM. Although the restaurant was far from crowded, the waitress promptly informed us it would be at least a 30-minute wait for our food, once we placed our order. The waitress was very ignorant of their food offerings and struggled to take our beverage and food order. Long-story-short, it took one hour and ten minutes before our food arrived! Even then, the waitress struggled to recall who had ordered what. Furthermore, to make things worse, they had forgotten to prepare my food, so I had to watch others eat while they cooked my order. Add another 15 minutes to my wait! On the positive side, the food was not that bad once I received it, but I had waited so long, my appetite had subsided and I was no longer very hungry. I absolutely do NOT recommend this restaurant and will never return. read more
