This is the type of authentic Mexican restaurant that doesn't look like much on the outside or inside, but pack a ton of flavor into their food. We randomly decided to stop in on a Tuesday as we were trying to think of a restaurant we never go to, and realized we'd actually never even been here. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the food pleasantly surprised me. I got the chicken quesadilla and my friend got the chicken fajita nachos. The quesadilla was good but nothing special. The nachos on the other hand were fantastic! The chicken was tender and the onions and peppers were very flavorful. If I come back, I would definitely order this dish! I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for authentic and affordable Mexican food in Dalton!

We ordered take out and arrived when we were told the food would be ready. It was just coming out of the kitchen when we arrived, so the timing was great. The service was friendly. The food was packaged as typical for Mexican take out with all dishes in foil containers and crimped on lids. The food stayed hot on the short drive. The Chili Colorado was nicely spicy with a decent amount of meat. The beans and rice were nothing special but certainly fine. The carne asada fajitas had good flavor and enough meat to balance the onions, etc. Another dining partner tried a steak torta and was very happy with it. The bread was fresh and held up well to the sandwich components. The chicken enchiladas were also very flavorful. The provided salsa was smooth without heat. I prefer a chunkier salsa with some heat, so this was disappointing. Overall, this was a decent meal for a decent price.

Now, tacos stands in Dalton, GA are plentiful, and vary greatly, and I've had my favorites before and it closed, and I was sad........but now I'm happy. These were maybe the best three tacos I've ever had. Full of meat, plenty of toppings, and the service / attitude were great. Very polite young man on the register. Now, if you're not familiar with Dalton, it's not easy to find, but it is absolutely worth the trip to south Dalton, out in the industrial area, where I've got my new fix on street tacos now refilled. They also have Aguas or Waters which are natural juices homemade they are delicious with real chunks of fruit in them. Why you wait for your food you can take a stroll around the store and by your favorite Mexican products and get your favorite Mexican produce as well as they have at Carniceria for local butcher in the back.
