We came here for the simulator and it did not dissapoint! I have been to 2 others and this one was a great vibe. In comparison, it has all types of turf you will hit from, which I have not seen before. It is also more user friendly--allowing the customer to set up games etc. The Bay Area is big enough, but if you drive very hard you will bounce back a few golf balls onto the restaurant floor! We did this a couple times but it was not a huge issue. The food is decent--Buffalo chicken dip was great. The salad was alright but hardly had any of the mixins with the lettuce. Next time I'll get a different one. Overall this is a good value for the golf membership if you enjoy using a simulator. We haven't had any issues getting in the 2 times we've gone in. There are 3 bays and plenty of restaurant/bar seating as well. Great service! read more

The Burger was good...I won't say great, but for a little out-of-the-way place it was really good. We came here around 4:30 on Saturday. We had a group of 10 (4 adults, 6 kids) we didn't make it past our drink order. The waitress/ bartender was so drunk off her ass, she instantly made the group feel uncomfortable. Just handing out the menus was a lot of work for her. I won't lie but walking up I almost said screw it and went to jimmy johns because this place looks really sketchy from the outside because your really confused on just what the heck it even is. But once u cross the threshold into the door u will be completely shocked by what your eyes see. It seriously took me by total surprise. I was greeted by a cute little brunette with an awesome smile and said hey just sit where-ever u want. I will say that I was disappointed because there isn't any burger options on the menu but they talked me into the wings and dam I'm Glad I did because they were legit. There were three separate virtual golf areas and we played groups of 4. Pros: the food was better than bar food, the service was attentive and helpful with the instructions and there was a variety of activities for the gold set up (driving range, 30+ gold courses to play and a dart putt game). Cons: I was expecting it to me more golfing and was surprised to see it was used more as a bar. The club hitting the ball makes an echo snap noise and took us a while getting used to. The drinks weren't our favorite but the service was quick. The inside is nicer than most bar and grills, kitchen is open towards the front, so it feels like a higher end restaurant. Menu was varied, I'm picky and saw several things I'd try. I was first introduced to this place when my husband started playing in a golf league with some friends years ago. Everything from the ambiance to the service and the food are wonderful. I'm not much of a golfer, but the simulators look like a lot of fun and I know my husband really enjoys it with friends. As for the food, it really is so much more than what you'd get at a typical bar and grill. The flavors are incredible and so unique. It tastes like you are eating at a 5 star restaurant in a bar and grill setting. Some of our favorite foods include the Brussel sprouts sprinkled with parmesan, balsamic and onions and bursting with flavor, their queso poblano which has a little kick and puts any other cheese dip in the city to shame, jalapeno poppers which includes a house cheese spread which is out of this world, their beef brisket French dip which my husband says is the best he ever had, and any of their panini sandwiches (turkey pesto is my favorite). Check them out for just food, golf simulators, or both. The great thing is they are offering take-out during this unfortunate COVID-19 situation. My husband and I did this last weekend because we really want to support this great place, and highly recommend that you do too. You definitely will NOT be disappointed. read more

I want to like this bar and grill and gave it a couple stars as I did get my jalapeño poppers as ordered and they were really good, but service at the bar was not good and I often found periods of time without a drink and having to flag down the bartender for a refill. Probably the worst part is I ordered the Wednesday special (3 tacos) and NEVER got them. Sitting barside is usually a good idea to get attentive service but I have to take a couple stars away for the opposite. Sorry Beyond Golf, but you need to step up your game or get more help Beyond the Bar so your patrons don't get similar service. Who would've known that a virtual golf bar would have incredible food? Definitely not me. I came here over lunch with a friend who recommended it. I'm not anything close to a golf fan, but I am a fan of food and alcohol, which as it turns out, is all you need to be when you come here. Seated at the bar, the service was super fast and super friendly. The menu offers nachos, phillies, salads, flat bread pizzas and more. The first trip, I ordered the chicken philly - pretty great. My friend got the brisket nachos - they were better. The second trip, I got the grilled cheese - added bacon, obviously. It came with tomatoes and onions, which was a little odd to me, so I picked those off. They don't offer fries (whomp, whomp), but you can get chips, cole slaw or a side salad. The slaw was unlike any I've had before - slices of granny smith apple and chunks of blue cheese. I'm not even a blue cheese fan, and it was delicious. My friend got the flat bread pesto pizza - and once again, he ordered better than me. Idk what this place is like during happy hour, or at night, but during the day, it's quiet and relaxed and most important when dining over your lunch hour, it's quick! read more

Our small group watched him play for a reasonable amount of time. He was so happy to swing despite the negative temps outside. The group was served by an extremely helpful and attentive AND accommodating staff. Once we moved over to our table for dinner we were even more surprised to dine on EXCEPTIONAL food. Never again. The waitress without a name tag was condescending and incapable of understanding her rudeness and lack of awareness. I have a serious pork allergy and asked if the brisket sandwich contained any pork, pork being the allergy. She laughed at me and said brisket is always beef (actually no it isn't) Pork brisket is a thing. I said ok no pork than? She said yes and walked away. Bringing me the sandwich there is bacon on it. I seriously couldn't believe it! She argued saying the menu says it has bacon and double checked the menu and realized no it didn't state it. I left. I didn't eat. Left with the impression she would just pick the bacon off and give me the same sandwich that was now contaminated. Food allergies are serious and life threatening.
