[While they were on the phone with someone else.] The real kicker came about a week after I got my car back. Four friends and I were going on a tour of nearby retirement villages when someone piped up from the back about not having a clasp on their seat belt. I fiddled around and found the problem. When the people at McAully's took out the back seat to make repairs, the clasp had fallen behind the seat. When they placed it all back in, the clasp remained under there, forever wedged, like a walrus in a corset. Lacking the manly know how or tools to perform the operation myself, I drove around to McAully's the next day and went to the reception to explain the problem. 'No,' they said. 'We're not liable for that,' and promptly went back to giggling on the phone. Well I never. Until this is fixed, my posse has been reduced by one member. We may be rampaging thugs, but by God do we follow traffic rules. 1/5, would not crash again.

After a lot of thorough research, calls and emails, I managed to find out that Ian Boettcher Volkswagon had a silver polo that had docked on the 29th October and was due into the dealership soon. I managed to get a hold of this car (very very lucky) and was able to pick it up about 2 weeks later! I had Gambia and HE'S AWESOME. So so lovely and dedicated to his job. He's not pushy at all and just an all around general good man. I would so recommend him and I'd definitely go back here and buy a future vehicle/ recommend them. Even though I'm from the Northside of Brisbane I would travel the distance to have their quality service. I've been to a few VW dealerships in Brisbane and they've all been pretty pushy and irritating (one which we walked out of). All of the people that work here are friendly and I thoroughly enjoyed giving them my life savings :P Top quality service. Top quality cars. Top quality people. Definitely give them a shot. They're well worth the 45 minute drive. Not even kidding.
