I love target! Been coming to this place since I was a kid. I love how they switched up the make up area.. lowkey giving Sephora vibes. They carry a lot of better quality stuff and more brands now. From make up to clothes... they also have a bunch of nice dinosaur toys my son loves em! They be lowkey expensive but target does a price match which I love! U can scan it with their app and see if online is less and if it is lesser then the stores price then you pay the online price.. I like going down the food aisles too to see if they have anything that catches my eye. They even get the new new chips. Service at the pharmacy is always great. The workers I don't really communicate with cus I use self check a lot and I usually know where everything is. But for when I do need help, they kno what they doin. I cannot believe it. I come to this target a few times a week because I live by here. I got accused of stealing today. I was literally at the self checkout for five minutes buying my shit. The employee standing there should be paying attention if he thinks i seriously faked scanning, bagging, paying, and putting my items back into my cart for a full five minutes. I could have literally walked out without paying if I wanted to. I literally asked the employee over because my paper receipt didn't print. That's when I got accused of stealing. Wtf. If I was stealing why would I get an employees attention and ask for MY receipt!? The employee doesn't know how to change the receipt paper so they ask for back up. The backup doesn't know how to change it either. They ask me if I have the app, which I do. They then proceed to tell me my receipt is on the app. 1. It's only on the app if I put in my number. Which I did, but that's not the point because I don't put it in every time. 2. I wanted a paper receipt. Duh. 3. I overheard them saying they would have to call some number to get a receipt printed. ‍ sorry but it shouldn't be that hard to reprint a receipt. Stores do it all the time. I don't see why customer service couldn't help me. Then they started ignoring me and shutting down the self checkout since it wouldn't print receipts out and they didn't want to have to deal with customers about it. Obvs I wouldn't either. But uh I'm still here? I just say ok nvm forget the receipt. I need it for my records and other things I use my receipts for but I'm not going to waste my time being ignored especially being accused of stealing shitty way to start my day this morning. read more

I went to into the store on the Friday night around 9:30pm and noticed store have been changed since I haven't gone for over a year. Need more cashier. There 2 cashier on busy night and the lines is long even self checkout have long line. Parking lots not big but the handicaps parking taking most of the space. I've done a couple of Drive-Up's from this Target recently, and I've enjoyed the simple, straightforward experience. I also had an order delivered through Shipt (which is how they complete Same Day Delivery) and that was also a great experience. I also know from being in the store that it is remodeled, which makes the shopping experience at this Target a lot more pleasant than it used to be. :) Drive up review: Both times, it has been an easy experience! Such a time saver and keeps me on my budget!! If you follow the directions on the app and let them know you are on your way, your order should be already out with a team member by the Drive Up area when you get there. It has been that way for me twice. Just remember to check in when you leave your house. You will then let them know you are "here" on the app as well, and a 4 digit number will appear so you can confirm the number before you get your goods. This time I found an extra goodie in my bag (at the bottom, more on that later)! It was a gift box with chocolate chips and some recipes. It could be a perk with the amount of my order (over $50?) or it could have been a drive up perk just for the holidays?! Not sure, but I was very excited for the extra goodie. Thanks Target! :) One thing I was not happy about is the order that they put my stuff in the bag...and I ordered some canned sparkling waters, and they put this box of cans ON TOP of my other stuff!!! Mind you, I didn't order glass or anything, but I had some vitamins and kids clothes, and they put the (potentially) dirty box on top of these other items. Come on now, that's a rookie (or lazy) bagging mistake. LOL. I would have gladly paid for a second bag or taken the waters separate from the rest of the goods. They have gone through the complete renovation and overhaul. This used to be the "ghetto" Target. The one most people would like to avoid. So, the area is still sort of sketchy but this store is nice now and I really don't mind coming here. The last few times have been a quick, painless in and out. Especially using the self-checkout. It is also modern, spacious and easy to navigate. I'm really impressed with the clothing, shoes and home decor which appears to be of good quality and on trend but doesn't break the bank! Same goes for the cosmetics section- it mimics the feel of a higher end cosmetic store like Sephora but with all the affordable brands. The workers are quick with answers if any questions arise. They are also friendly; I couldn't find the rubbing alcohol or Sudafed and a team member was more than optimistic to assist me. I will be back again soon. read more

I have only gone to this Target about 2 times as it is by my job, always take pictures when we go as I always find something fun or unique but haven't uploaded them to Yelp yet. Each time we come in we are greeted by Target staff. The store is always organized and clean. The prices are slightly higher than Walmart but they have products that Walmart doesn't vice versa. They have my favorite Yasso bars and Almondmilk horchata that is so tasty. I have not gone to Target since the shelter in place occurred as I imagine they have to implement social distancing and COVID-19 protocols like the other stores I've been to in the past few weeks since I have been working from home. Overall, consistent Target like the others but smaller in Fresno/Clovis. read more

This is the closest Target to my house and I have enjoyed my shopping trips here. Lately I have done Drive Up or in store Pick up orders and those have always gone smoothly. Last night I had an in store pick up order and the speed of service and friendliness of the Target team members was awesome! The order pickup area is right up front and clearly marked. I appreciate the Covid safety measures they still do for us customers and the employees. It might seem odd to leave a Yelp review for a National "big box" store but the people we interact with there are Local! Thank you to everyone that works at this Target! I had to go to Target and was about to hit the 99 from the 41 when I said, "aww crap I forgot to go to Target" and being that I hate going to Walmart for the life of me I got off the next exit, flipped around and proceeded to the nearest one (this one being it). I haven't been to this location in years - and haven't actually been in any Target store since I can't remember - anyway, I was kind of dreading it because these big box stores are always crowded and after Christmas, the stores themselves are usually a mess. I was pleasantly surprised that neither was true! The store was stocked, lots of people but the store is big and aisles are wide. I found everything I was looking for, although I still think these big food sections in these types of stores are annoying - they make the store more huge and harder to find regular household items. I love having a Target nearby . I've been using drive up service the past year and love it ! I don't have to go inside . When I do have to go inside , I love going to the clearance racks, the meat and dairy department (even though its small) . Parking is not the greatest. If I could give this store minus stars I certainly would. I do not generally frequent this location but this is the second time (in maybe 3 visits) that I've purchased expired food items. And when I say expired...not just a day or two, months expired. Apparently their inventory team needs some serious retraining or they actually need to implement an effective inventory team. This location is the worst Target in the Fresno/Clovis area. Earlier this afternoon, I went there to purchase some bug spray. Before entering the store, I noticed about 5 or 6 security guards harassing a homeless man just because he was sitting on one of the outside benches. I told those security guards to leave the homeless man alone. Then one of the ego tripping security guards got very mad at me. His veins were popping out if his neck with rage. That security guard yelled that I should mind my own business. I told him I have the freedom of speech to speak my mind...and then I entered the store. This is my neighborhood Target and of course, I ALWAYS go there. It was 10:40pm and I had to buy cough medicine and some nail supplies, but I had to be quick because they close in 15 minutes. As I was in self checkout, all associates and security's had eyes on me. I also work in retail, so I understand that theft is a big problem and customers service is very important, but a young lady who helped verify the cough medicine and security around me, were awfully rude. She never asked for my ID, all she said that she needed it. I said, "okay, it's in my car. Let me go grab it." I came back with my ID, she scanned and verified the cough medicine, but I saw that my basket with my nail supplies weren't there and I saw her dump it on a register to be put into the go-backs. I asked her if I can pay for my items that were in the basket and she said that she didn't know that was mine... which is ignorant because it was at that register I was on. But she handed them back to me. I hate this Target, never going back. read more

DO NOT SHOP HERE THEY WILL KEEP YOUR MONEY. I don't usually write reviews but this is crazy. The management here is clueless, and very rude especially the woman who has a attitude problem. I tried to return a phone and prepaid card they sent me to AT&T and At&t said that the retailer was the only one that could help. took over 2 weeks multiple hours and gas spent and they would only return the phone and not my full refund. What's worse is that it's the same issue with corporate, they just give you the run around. The whole company culture is rotten. Never had a bad experience here. Couponed here a few times; each transaction: smooth. In all honesty when I come here I find a LOT of great things on clearance. As a low-income and budgeting momma I got 2 Eddie Bauer car seats for my baby for $89.99 in total and paid in gift cards from all the deals that target offers! Awesome. I could say it is a tad bit pricier than Walmart but you don't get the deals of buying 3 @x.xx and receive $5,$10,$15 or $20 gift card back, stack coupons and manufacturers coupons on top of that and it'll seem like your paying less to nothing for these products. Any who my review would have to be for the pharmacy. Ever since it was taken over by a "third" party the wait is ridiculous. But all Targets feel like home so I'll stomach a little wait time. The pharmacist is a doll, when I was experiencing nonstop severe migraines, my doctor prescribed me an off medication that triggered the pharmacist to check my medication history. She took her concern and asked me. Makes me feel as she really cares for her clients/patients To my knowledge this target is seemly clean. This store has atrocious customer service. The management is even worse. I went to return a car seat that didn't fit my son. I was within the allowed 30 day time limit. I had my original receipt. The car seat had a couple crumbs on it according to them. The seat was in perfect condition as I only had it out of the box for the 10 minutes it took to see figure out it wasn't the right size. First Rosalinda, who is most definitely a racist, refused to return the item and got very confrontational. Next some other employee came over to immediately back up Rosalinda without even looking at the item. Finally Forrest came over and also refused to return the item. He also refused to provide his name or his supervisors name. He refused to escalate the matter to his manager. Offered no assistance except told me to Google the corporate number. Forrest was nasty and poisonous with his words as they flew out of his mouth like venom. Finally I left and went to the location on Blackstone and Bullard. They immediately returned the item and credited the original amount to my credit card. I have no idea what going on over at Target Shields/First with staffing but this place should be shut down. Walked in to target 15 minutes before closing it was suppose to be a quick stop. None of the employees were helpful. In fact when it got to 5 minutes before closing a worker walked up to me and asked me to start walking to the front of the store because they will be closing. I said sure I'm heading to the front already. As I'm walking to the front another employee tells me the same thing. Yet when I was asking help to find a product they were no help and walked away from me. So I get to the front and I'm ready to pay. I asked the lady if she can reprint my receipt she said no sorry. I didn't make a big deal but I know for a fact you can reprint receipts. I worked as a cashier before so I know it's not hard. Lady was just being lazy and wanted to get me out of the store. Now only if this Target did. Every time I go here, I either expect to: 1.) Be shot. 2.) Watch someone else be shot. 3.) Have my car broken into or be shot. I have always got everything I wanted and needed from Target at Shields and First St. Everyone is friendly and helpful there. I remember one time I was at work and wanted a cake pan that I had seen on line. I called the store from work and the young lady I spoke with said she had 1 left I wanted it so badly.......she told me to come after work and she would put it aside for me. I came to this Target when I was moving someone into CSU Fresno nearby. I noticed there are a few Targets in the Fresno area, too... I guess it's become a popular place to hang out? We didn't really get any service here except for the check out process. But we didn't need any help getting around the store, because, thankfully, all Targets are the same. The cashier today on register 4 did not have gloves on while scanning a Hispanic girls item, I was next, she looked at me, looked down, looked at me again and grabbed a box of gloves and put them on before scanning my items.
