Ohhhh boy oh boy! They have thee absolute cleanest bathrooms I've been in, ESPECIALLY during a pandemic. I was in a bind. I had to make a pinch in a cinch. I ran in and dropped trow and let out an excitable wow! This bathroom was spotless! I white knuckled the bowl and let out a sound like a small troll. Once I finished making a growler and relieved it wasn't a howler, I disembarked the facilities with relief. Thanks target! I highly recommend this Target! This target is by far more organized than other targets around here, but the reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because of lack of staff/and or help. They had one older lady running the entire self check out and front of the store by herself. No lanes were open, so everyone had to go to self check out. I could tell she was overwhelmed and it wasn't her fault, but I had to wait over 20 mins to even get her attention because she had so many people to get to. Again, this isn't a problem on her, but should reflect on lack of poor management and staffing. It's summer time now, so I'm not seeing how they only have one person running the entire front of the store. It's not fair to them or the customers who have to wait just to be noticed for help. read more

The shelves were pretty stocked with stuff and the cashier was really nice. But the store was just messy and unkempt in areas. There were items from different departments all over the store that, it seems, as if the employees never tidy up and put back where they belong. For example- kids apparel found abandoned in the electronics section; laundry detergent found in the area where the fake plants are, etc. Oh, and speaking of plants, almost all of them inside the store were dying or in really sad shape. I love Target but this store has gone down hill. Store is a mess, very few employees and the checkout line is out of control. They rely on only the self checkout when I have been in there and have seen the line extend all the way back to the card section. I refuse to shop here any longer due to inconvenience. read more

Target - Department Stores Near Me - Kingston, Massachusetts

PLEASE READ: Absolutely unacceptable, even for this mall. I came in this afternoon with a loved one to run some errands. She got a few things, as did I, including a dress I found in the clearance section. By the time we finished up and got to the self-checkout, I had forgotten that there was actually a security tag on the dress. I scanned my first item and placed it in my tote bag, then scanned my dress, and was about to put it in the bag until one of the older employees, about mid-fifties with a brown chin-length bob and glasses, snuck up behind me wayyy too close and nearly shouted the words, "Don't you DARE put that in there!". She repeated herself when I asked her what was going on. At this point, I noticed other people at the checkout were stopping what they were doing to watch the interaction, assuming that I was caught in the act of shoplifting. She then composed herself a bit and informed me that she had been watching us (wtf??), there was security tag on my dress, I would have set off the security alarm, and she didn't like the sound it made. She snatched the dress out of my hands and walked off with it, then returned it to me with the tag removed. She switched her demeanor from hostile to sticky-sweet, asking me in a playful tone, "Are you okay? Did I scare you?" to which I didn't know how to respond. She lingered for a few seconds before walking away, leaving the both of us stunned. The way she could have handled the situation versus how it actually went were beyond different. She simply could have quietly offered to remove the tag for me or suggested that we use a normal register so the cashier could remove it for me. Instead, she invaded my personal space, raised her voice at me, and shamed and humiliated me in front of the other shoppers and staff for no good reason. I don't have much to say after that interaction other than I hope that employee learns how to approach customers without creating a hostile/discriminatory environment. After today, we'll be doing our shopping elsewhere. If you are a minority or present yourself in any kind of alternative fashion, I suggest you do the same unless you like being profiled. read more

This store lacks in restocking items. Every single time, no matter what day it is, what month it is, no matter what item I need, this establishment always reports either 1. They're out of stock online, or 2. They're in stock and when you try to purchase the item, wether in store or online, they appear to be out of stock, even though it says online they're in stock. It's about time this establishment get its act together, be held accountable for not properly stocking items they would normally carry in a timely manner. read more

(nobody specifically is to blame in this situation but) i target picked up a new stainless steel trash can & i get it home only to realize it's been damaged in shipping, i go back and return it. i was able to return it easily. i walk to the isle to see the other selection. every single one of the white stainless steel 50$ trash cans were damaged, i ordered on the app from the warehouse. it came in 3 days and was completely perfect. it just sucks because i think this target location has a terrible selection & it was kind of a waste of my time, if i had known all the selection was damaged i would've just ordered online originally. read more

Recent change in return policy change So I bought a Google Chrome Cast Ultra a week or so ago that I bought at Target. I ended up not needing it and I was going to give it to a friend but my wife wanted to pick up a few things. So I suggested to her that she could return it. I didn't have the receipt but in the past I usually didn't have a problem with this as they could look it up. My wife went down with our 1 year old son, who has been sick the last few days, to exchange it for a few baby related items. They couldn't find the receipt because they couldn't look up my card (our card numbers are different) and decided to run it as a store credit. This was fine, but the store has a policy that anything purchased in the electronics section needs to be exchanged with items from the electronics section. Stating some kind of budgetary reason, basically that the budget for the electronics section is different than that of the rest of the store. Now call me "old fashioned" but I didn't buy the Google Chrome Cast from "Target Electronics", I bought it from "Target". I walked in to a Target store and it was never explained to me that the electronics section was considered a different store, essentially. And sure, I could have read the details of their return policy on the back of the receipt or what's posted on their walls. But are these companies that petty about budgets and what not that they'd risk loosing a long time customer over an item under a $100 dollars? We have bought countless clothes, electronics, diapers, food, gift cards, Christmas gifts, etc over the years. And now is the time we decided to do our business in the electronics section of the store it is like we walked in to a weird twilight zone where my money can't escape? I am going to be advising every one of my friends and family members to steer clear of Target this holiday season. Who knows what kind of arbitrary nonsense they will be putting in their "return policy" this year. read more

Went to Target today to buy a Omron Blood Pressure Monitor brought home opened box and found instructions were gone and not rapped in plastic also said batteries not included. Well looks like some one bought this one used it even left batteries in it and brought back and Target never checked it just put back on shelf and sell. Am not happy will be returning it tomorrow and will always check before I purchase anything from there again. Did not know they were a second hand store selling stuff for full price. read more

I rarely go here as they sometimes have what im looking for only after ive been to mainly every other place. Honestly i forget that its even at the mall. Most people i know dont even go there anymore. They are a bit more expensive in alot of areas than walmart. Its Clean and Employees are nice but when it comes to helpful ill give them a 50/50 as alot of them have no idea what your asking about, as do most retail stores. Its an ok establishment if your near it and want to avoid the huge amounts of people at walmart. Lastly : Also the food prices here are really expensive. you'll probably not find what your looking for here; This is more of a walking in and shop for whatever store not a really quick pick something up store and get out as they usually wont have it. read more

This was a very clean store and everything was easy to find. However as I proceeded to leave the store after paying for a few items , (a box of diapers , wipes, diaper bag and balloons), in the self check out. Before I left I asked the employee across from me for a bigger bag to fit the diaper bag. She gave me the bag and handed it to me , as I began to open the plastic bag she then proceeded to go into the diaper bag and "empty the stuffing" for me. She did not ask me if it was ok, I felt this was disrespectful, invasive and assumptious. If I was a woman without color, I do not believe she would have done the same thing. She had no right and I felt like I was being attacked. read more

The reasons I am giving this target a 2 star rating are as follows: Childrens Clearance Section. The baby clearance section very rarely (if ever) goes over 30% off. I have never seen the baby clearance go over 30% off and I check weekly. Even when other target stores in the area have 50% off and sometimes more, this store doesn't reduce. Sometimes the items will be clothing sets such as a onesie with a sweater and pants with with sweater and pants missing and the onesie will still be seven dollars. The rest of the baby clearance items are usually haphazardly stored on a shelf next to the baby furniture and is hard to find. The endcap containing reduced price blankets and miscellaneous baby items is not well organized. Baby Registry I have a baby registry here and you get a gift bag with samples and coupons at guest services. A few of the coupons in the bag were already expired and several items that wrre on my registry were not sold in the store. Regular Clearance Section The clearance section for cosmetics and personal care items is way in the back of the store on endcaps and isn't well organized. Customer Service I think the customer service has room for improvement. I've been doing my shopping hete for years now and think I've been asked if I need help once or twice. This doesn't necessarily bother me that much, but since they redid the store, it is really hard to find things now. At Christmas time last year I was looking to buy my husband a tablet and stood at the electronics counter while an employee was literally standing at his computer console playing solitaire. I waited about a 30 seconds before I got annoyed and bought the tablet from best buy. Most of the people at the register seem pleasant however. read more

I like the merchandise but...the customer relations needs lots of work. On tax free weekend I bought an Intex pool. 19 days later that same pool dropped $60. Target refused to refund the difference stating it was their policy and procedure to not price match anything older than 14 days from receipt. I reminded the two people I spoke with that I could just return the pool and buy the one on the floor. So, does it make sense to make me do all that when they could just do the right thing by a loyal customer and offer me a $60 gift card?? Let's be realistic here. They quoted policy and procedure to sneak out of giving service to a long standing and loyal customer. Not to mention I am one of the customers that was compromised when they failed to protect customer confidentiality. So shame on me to think they changed. My weekly trips to target will now be far and few between. The hundreds of dollars I spend during the holiday season will go to another merchant. Buyer beware. Target claims to care about their customers. They claim to be customer friendly. But they arent. They are scam artists using policy and procedures to hide behind. If they keep doing that they will lose customers over stupid little things. read more
