very nice new and used furniture store in an old general store. they have a great selection of used…read morefurniture - primarily for the living room and bedroom but i believe there were some dining room sets. their prices are very fair and everything is in good condition. a lot of their new furniture comes from local craftsmen and they are also fairly priced. we recently purchased a new 4 drawer dresser and nightstand for our baby's room that was made by an amish man in lancaster. the dresser was $275 and the nightstand about $125. that is not that much more than what you can get at target and have to put together yourself and is made in china. for slightly more money (but still way less than your higher end furniture stores) you are getting a local and quality made product. also the owners are very nice. we got great customer service on both of our visits here and all questions were answered. there was never any pressure to buy and we didn't feel like we were being hawk eyed like you feel like when you go to commercial furniture stores. we'll definitely be coming back here when we need to replace our living room furniture.

The quality and craftsmanship is simply unmatched from big-box stores that are common here in the west. Please keep in mind these hand-crafted pieces take at least 3 months to build and another 5 or 6 weeks to transport across the country, but if you're patient, you're rewarded with an heirloom of unmatched quality.
