Love this location, they seem to do a great job keeping everything in stock. The whole staff is also very helpful with the exception of the middle aged blonde woman at customer service. She seems to always have a stick up her rear end. Jacinda up front is always in the best spirits. We always try to make sure we get in her line! Kira in customer service hit the target with her customer service from start to finish. She was on point with her "know how" while displaying a social demeanor. My return & adjustment took a while, yet Kira was nothing short of professional & patient. Plus, her witty interaction made the time pass by. There's a Starbucks, two lanes of Self Checkout, Cafe Pizza, Grocery, Wine & Beer in an overall organized store. Also offers Drive/Pick Up Services. The only store in Lexington, with three more locations in nearby Columbia. read more

I guess that's why I don't like shopping Target on 378. Usually they have "managers" standing around greeting. I placed an online order for some furniture that was on sale and I got the order confirmation for the item and after the sale ended for the item. Target sent me an email saying they cancelled the order and I could reorder the item if I wanted to at full price instead of the sale price I originally ordered it for. read more

Starbucks in this Target is awful. They have stickers everywhere about Starbucks rewards but will not allow you to use or scan your Starbucks rewards there at all. I asked them to put salt on my caramel macchiato and the girl was like "I don't know how to do that". So I had to explain how to literally shake a salt shaker... Clearly she had zero training. I saw all of the one and two star reviews, and I was thinking "This Place can't be THAT bad." Sorry to say, it is. The grocery shelves had lots of empty slots. I wasn't there to purchase a bunch of groceries, but there were plenty of bare spots that would get annoying. I grabbed some ground coffee in sale, two bananas and an avocado for snacks. All of the bananas were brown, which is okay for today. I am guessing they will become mush by Thursday. The avocados were in sale for $1 each. I got to the checkout area, which was four self serve registers and one serving all purposes such as returns, checkouts, online orders, etc. I chose this line because all other stations were being used. I had to wait about a minute for the girl to get done assisting people on the self check line. She came over and seemed annoyed that I was there. A cursory greeting was given with smile or voice inflection. I checked out and realized she charges me the full price, $1.49, for the avocado. I didn't feel like waiting in line again so I left, being robbed of $.50. Probably the worst Target I have been to. Disappointing to say the least. read more

I really hope a manager sees this post. Today I went to Target to search for a bathing suit top. First of all,props for being one of the only retailers to sell cute and affordable bathing suit tops for people who don't have -A size chests! You had a huge variety of awesome quality tops for those of us who as again, mentioned above, have stuff there :) My big compliment was my cashier. I unfortunately did not get her name, I wish I did, but she was deaf I believe. That didn't matter as she and I were able to communicate perfectly! Because of her I download the target app and get all the cart savings! She was so kind and patient and employees like her is what makes Target a store above the rest! read more

Just moved to the area and this Target doesn't disappoint. Friendly staff everywhere in the store. Even asking me how my day was when casually walking by - more than I can say for Target where I'm from. Drive up service is super, selection is great, the app data of in store items is precise - and the best perk - the in-store Starbucks has made my drinks correctly every time! Target in Lexington is wonderful I have been using them for a few years now and with COVID-19 I have been using their drive up service I had an issue on the last pick up where they left off a few items and when I went to pick up my latest my latest order they had gotten the items I was missing together and gave them to me along with a gift card this was after I had reached out to target.com and received a refund for those items so I really appreciate everything that they do read more

Can't express any more the level of disgust I have for this location. I thought I was walking into the Kmart that closed a year ago. I've never encountered so many rude employees, bare shelves, and constant confusion in any other location such as this. Cant imagine anyone being this miserable in life. Clean store and great customer service. I always clean my buggy with cleaning wipes at the front of the store. On 12/29/2019 at Lexington Target the wipe dispenser appeared to be empty. An employee was passing and asked if I wanted wipes. He said sometimes they fall down inside and then quickly went over to the dispenser, opened the top and pulled up the wipes. Came here to pick up a few things (snacks, toiletries, etc.) during our recent visit to South Carolina. This particular Target was like every other Target I've been to - clean, good selection of products, Starbucks, etc. This would have been an uneventful (and thus 3 star) shopping experience if not for the extremely rude and slow service at the checkout (dropping it to two stars). There were only three registers open resulting in a moderate sized line at each. I had the misfortune of picking the slowest and rudest of the three. When we placed our items on the counter, the phone at the register rang, and, instead of ringing up our items, the cashier proceeded to answer the phone and have a PROLONGED conversation with the person on the other end. When I voiced my displeasure, the cashier continued to ignore us and even turned her back so she could continue her conversation without having to look at me glaring at her. When her conversation was over, she didn't greet us or apologize for keeping us waiting. Instead, she rang up our items in silence and grunted at us when she was done. Screw it. Poor customer service is UNACCEPTABLE !!! read more

Customer service needs some attention, some associates are awesome however the bad ones do not make up from the great ones. I called in regards to locating an Apple Watch, I was hung up on and on hold for 12 minutes. Called back and spoke with manager he answered my questions . However when I was in store I heard associate joking to another about a called they transferred who was looking for an Apple Watch and he left on hold and Joked I don't know where they ended up I guess guest services!!! I said excuse me that was me!!!! I just happened to be in the right place in right time to hear them! I will not shop here again! Well my daughter lost my keys in the store and told the manager who would Not make an announcement over the store for the other customers to hear and to help keep an eye out for the Keys!!! So know this they only want your Money they don't give a Crap about the Customer who actually pays their bills. Cindy the manager was not a bit helpful claims she had employees looking but I saw not one person looking. Told me it's your property your responsibility. I used to be a very loyal customer of Target. I recently placed a large online order for 6 robes for my bridesmaids for my upcoming wedding. When I received my order I was happy with the product. However, upon opening the rest of the robes to wash them I noticed a large stain on the front of one of the robes. I took the product to my local Target store hoping they could exchange it and place an online order to be shipped to my house since I had already payed for shipping the first time (no big deal I thought). Target told me there was nothing they could help me with as far as online orders go and that all they could do for me is return the robe to the store and I would have to go online and place another order. When I asked how I could avoid paying shipping costs again they said the only way was to have it shipped to a Target store. In this situation I feel like most stores would apologize for their error and make it right by reordering and having it shipped to your house, but they put it all back on me. I proceeded to go online and place another order to a Target near me so I would not have to pay shipping. I received an email saying the item was ready to pick up. ONLY 2 days later I received another email saying I had to pick it up by the end of the day or my item would be cancelled. (Note without replacement of this last robe the whole set that I spent over $100 is worthless). I called the store to ask if they could hold in one more day since I am a full time student and they said there was nothing they could do and I had to go online and request for them to hold it 24 more hours. I don't understand if it is at your store why can't you make a note to hold it one extra day instead of making the customer go and request it online themselves. I am already upset that I am having to drive out of my way to pick it up when to make this problem right in the first place they should have placed the order THEMSELVES and had it shipped to my house which I originally payed for. I am very upset and dissatisfied with ALL the customer service I have received from Target in store and online in dealing with this issue. read more
