Been shopping Target for over 10 years in 6 or more states in the Country. While this store is usually very tidy and organized, I have experienced Many shopping trips ending with Wal-mart size waiting lines at Checkout. In more than 25 trips I have not witnessed a single cashier call for backup assistance or seen any additional lines open. Good luck getting help from any employees. I stood in the electronics section for 15 minutes with a "shut up and take my money" look in my face but nobody would help me so I'll spent a big pile of money on tech and electronics elsewhere. And then with what I I did grab here to buy I had to do their work for them - there was only one manned checkout lane open. The only other register (s) open were do it yourself. Why do I have to do the work? Hey Target I should get an employee discount for you making me ring up the stuff I'm paying for. read more

Today around 3pm I went in was buying a swimsuit for my daughter. We went through self check out. The lady working self check out told us where to go, she was standing next to me as I checked my items. I saw there was as door sensor on the top asked her to remove it. She said when you have your receipt. I was literally putting my pin number in and she walked off. I stood there for a minute and then had to walk over to customer service and get them to take it off. On Friday I purchased a item online for $21.28 Item number 9061810730437 When I arrived at the store the item was sold per rep & email I recieved. I explained to the young lady my card was charged ... she said your card it's really charged until you sign for the item. Okay! I just checked my account. Target did take my money out of account. So target can steal from their customers look them in their face and lie. Now I have to reach out to the NEWS Media and their Corporate office. Because I'm getting no where at the store! Surely their cameras show me leaving with nothing in my hand. Now if a customer stole from target they will press charges. I want to do THE same. read more

Was told by a rude cashier in the pharmacy department that they do not sell any children's medicine. After asking several times she refused to assist me with locating the medicine that the app showed they have in stock. Will not be going back to this store anytime soon. read more

Target is awesome, it's always so much fun to shop here and they have a Starbucks inside which is great. It's easy to get sidetracked here and spend hours and spend a lot more than you intended to. They have everything you could want or need. I love that they have self check outs so that I can get in and out faster. The customer service department is pretty slow moving and you would think if you purchase online orders to pick up in store that it would be faster than physically going and grabbing the time yourself and paying for it however this is not the case surprisingly! So now I have stopped purchasing online and so just get the items myself because it's faster. I know, doesn't make any sense to me too. I also wish they would remodel this one to look like the fancier newer ones they have in other locations. read more

Let's face it-who doesn't love Target? And this one is no different. I could spend a small fortune in there. This location is clean, neat, and organized. They keep everything well stocked so you don't see any empty shelves. The past few times I've been they've only had 2 registers open. There were lines long enough to warrant at least 4 registers. While I walked through the store, I saw at least 6 employees, who could have easily opened registers, instead of walking around, goofing off. They should definitely try to fix that. read more

(Sigh) Welp, I do love Target. I find shopping here therapeutic. They have exactly what I didn't know that I needed and then some. I especially adore their children/baby section. All of their clothes are reasonably priced and very stylish. read more

I enjoy this target for some of my needs and wants. The people that work there are always nice and have a smile. I like the prices. I really enjoy the clothes they offer as well. I have been to every Target in Memphis. Most of them have been disappointing. This by far is the best one. Driving to South Haven is also better than trying to go anywhere else in Memphis. The traffic is less both ways. Plus this Target is organized. My biggest pet peeves is not having stuff in stock when online it says it should be in stock. Once was a dedicated shopper. Never had much to say about management. They show face and uphold the image but after talking with some employees I now see how they treat them. Managers assigning unrealistic amounts of work on employees, Them dogging their employees about breaks and lunches as a part of "policy" yet work them continuously and assign them numerous tasks that make it impossible to take a break or lunch. And they document them if they do not take it on time along with many other issues. I truly pray for the electronics department. They get the same pay as everyone else and yet they to my experience are the most stressed out and I know it's because of management and they're unrealistic demands of them. (I found out they fire employees for lost product even if they had NOTHING to do with the loss. What is the point of asset protection if there is nothing being protected by them) I'm writing this review because I have lived in the area for ten years and I can honestly say my experience with this target has always been subpar. I think It's time for a change. And I feel it should start with ALL of upper management. read more

I used to shop only Target after boycotting Walmart for poor service. Unfortunately Target service continues to decline. This stores team has a communication problem. Found a chair online and saw in this store. Called to see if 2 were available and was told they were. Also stated they would price match. Drove to store only to find they had one in stock and wouldn't price match their own online price because item # was different but was exact same picture for both items, same brand, ect. Wasted 1 hr of my day dealing with terrible customer service. Stick to Target online - don't shop here. read more

Nice, clean store. Never seen it cluttered or in a mess. Sense of safety in the parking lot. Employees are very helpful. Compared to the Walmarts in the area this store is a dream come true. No complaints, only praises. read more

This is the absolute worst Target that I have ever been to...and I have been to a lot of Targets. The first time that I was there, we purchased a helium tank--big problem, no helium in the tank. I don't even know how this could happen....but it was too late to be able to get a new one before our event. Second time there, I went to purchase some dog treats that had a $5 gift card with the purchase of two (promotion was posted on the items_. When I went to the register, they didn't ring up with the gift card so the cashier told me that I had to go to customer service to get it corrected. I went to customer service, where he rang them up the same way and never asked anyone to go check on them. As he wouldn't correct this, I asked him to just take them off the receipt--I was on my lunch break and didn't have time to wait for a Manager. He then removed the wrong items and would have overcharged me by $15 if I wasn't doing the math in my head. They need to program their registers correctly and hire people who care about doing the right thing for customers. read more
