This is the closest Target to where I live, so we pop in here quite often. It has all the same brands and departments that any other Target has, so nothing to write home about in terms of uniqueness. If you have been to one Target, you basically know what any Target has on offer. The layout may be different from Target to Target, though. Aside from having all the same departments and items, I will say that we have noticed the produce at this Target location doesn't stay fresh as long as others we have shopped at. We have decided just to not buy any fresh produce from this Target anymore, unless it's something we have to grab on the way somewhere and can only stop at one place (if it's Target). They do have quite a few eateries nearby, which is nice if you want to grab something for dinner/lunch after you've been shopping. Raising Cain's, McDonalds, and that type of fare - nothing fancy. They have their own food options within Target too; Pizza Hut, Starbucks, and some grab and go things near the registers. My only other complaint, and this is about ALL Target locations - is that they keep it very toasty in there! No matter if it's Summer or Winter, it will always be sweltering in any Target. If this is the only Target you can get to, it's not BAD by any means - I just think it's one rung below other locations when it comes to a few specific things. read more

All Targets are not created equally, mostly because one of them is always under construction. This however, has been my go to Target for the past 4 years. I literally live equal distance from this Target and the Target on 168th and Maple. Somehow, I always veer my car in the direction of this Target. I'm most familiar with this layout and I navigate it seamlessly. They also have a great selection of clothes (and way bigger clearance sections) for the whole house..Other Targets seem disjointed and hard to shop around. I know a reno is coming for this Target soon, but until then I will enjoy my endless perusing around the store, for nothing in particular and still walk out with $100 worth of unnecessary purchases, but ya know, that's the price of a good therapy session and I think they're basically the same. read more

This place was great. I needed to get some steak knives for my mom for a Christmas present (shh!). I saw online that there were these stainless steel ones that were ranked pretty high so I went there but the shelf was empty. I asked one of the employees and he said that they had some that just came in on a truck so he'd have to dig through the freight to find them. He told me it might be a little bit. About five minutes he came back with more than they mentioned online. No offense to places like this but that's service more impressive than I'm used to. After this, I did some more looking around and found a couple more items I needed, including a present for my dad, as well (again, shh!) I work close to this Target so I sometimes go to this Target and grab some cheap, deli food. You can get 8 massive pieces of hot fried chicken for only $6.50. That price is killer. The service and selection is good, just like any Target. I wish my Target in CB had a deli like this one has. All in all, I will continue to come here to grab cheap deli food, home decor, candy, personal items, and the list goes on. Target is the cheapest on a lot of items, especially when you save 5% using their Target store card. read more

Covid update: Masks on staff. No gloves. And while sanitizer was available at the entrance, it was liquid, and the wipes for the carts were empty. When we hunted down an employee and asked for a wipe, they went and got ONE. One wipe to do the whole cart. Mkay. Otherwise, they were fine with what we saw of the Covid protocols. read more

I have been shopping here religiously every week for the past 8+ years so I feel like I've got a pretty good idea of the ins and outs. Let's start with the bad, and there are two aspects of the store that really stick out. First, the pharmacy. I don't know what it is but it seems next to impossible for them to be able to have a prescription prepared for you on time. It never fails that I go to pick up a prescription at the time it is supposed to be ready and I'm waiting for at least another 20+ minutes. Previously, we had a situation where they sent us home with a medicine bottle of powder. They had forgotten to mix it up. There is nothing more frustrating when you already are dealing with sick loved ones in the house, then to have to run back up to the pharmacy. Why do I keep using their pharmacy services? Because, every six prescriptions that I have filled, I get a 5% off shopping pass. Next, the produce selection isn't great. I can get my staples here and they have some limited organic options, but if I am ever preparing a more elaborate fruit platter or looking to grill out some great veggies, I go elsewhere. Same with meat. Good pork chops, but not a place to buy your steak! Let's talk about why I go back week after week. This is a one stop shop for me. I can get cute clothes for my daughters, get prescriptions filled, get diapers and groceries, school supplies, really whatever I need in one place. Further, if you do some work, you can save a lot. I have the red card, which gets me 5% off all my purchases (makes it totally worth having my identity stolen! Wink wink). In addition if you download their app, you can upload a ton of other online coupons and get additional discounts. On top of that, I clip manufacture and store coupons. With all I am able to save, I find that I can typically get really great prices at target. Also, their brands, are typically pretty good. I can generally get the target brand food, household and toiletry items, but there are a few that I stay away from (watch out for the chicken and salmon). Nicest Target in Omaha in my opinion. The employees are VERY nice to you and will go out of their way to help you if you need it. I didn't find a single department that was messed up or disorganized at all. Plus some of their prices were a lot cheaper than the other target I go to. (weird huh?). The food seemed fresh, although we didn't purchase food, and the prices were not much more than a Walmart or Aldis. Overall I'm happy with it and I spent WAY too long smelling candles. read more

While visiting the 132 & Maple St., Omaha, store this afternoon about 4:30 p.m., I encountered an employee who went way beyond what one would expect. The girl was helping customers in the self-check line - she helped me with a cart wheel item discount (had left my phone in the car), sacked my items for me and was extremely polite. Upon leaving I very carelessly forgot to take my receipt as well as the $20 cash I had withdrawn. I made it all to the way to my car before I remembered the receipt/cash - was headed back into the store and saw the girl coming out of the store with my receipt/cash in hand! I so appreciate her going the extra distance to make my life easier! She was the cute young girl with "mickey mouse" ears as her hairdo! Readily recognizable! By the way I did try to call the store when I got home - asked for the manager so I could complement the store employee - after being on hold for about 5 minutes and no answer, I hung up. The thing I love about this Target is that at least during the day, customer service is quite good. Much better than your average box store. Anytime I find myself wandering around searching for a product a customer service associate will approach and ask if I need help. They have these hand held devices that will tell them if the product is in stock and where in the store it's located. It will even tell them it's not at this location, but that it is in another Omaha Target. read more

This Target is basically walking distance from my house, and I'm going to miss it if/when we ever move. Apart from a few employees who aren't super friendly, I've mostly had employees who go above and beyond to help me find things. I actually left a case of beer on the bottom of my cart in the parking lot and they told me they aren't liable for items once they're out of the store, but they looked at the security tapes and saw how frazzled I was trying to check out with all my kids and they agreed to let me come back in and grab a replacement. It's really hard to find anything bad to say about Target stores in general, but I have to say it's mostly the employees that set this one apart. I do all of my grocery shopping here and it ends up being even cheaper than Walmart with Cartwheel + the Weekly Ad + coupons + my redcard, plus they have a decent organic selection, it's clean, never overly crowded. I have found that the specific items they carry are a little different than other SuperTargets, I don't know if this store is on the smaller side or what. read more

This is not a bad location I enjoy a target stores. They have a good selection for the upcoming holiday Halloween. I also like how target stores has the grocery section. I just wish some of there prices was not expensive. Even the clearance section still be high priced. But I guess they do have good quality items. Just make sure when shopping at Target stores you have a good amount of money with you. lol No but seriously the store is good and clean and the employees seem to be nice. read more

The absolute worst experience I've ever had at a Target. I didn't encounter a single employee that was helpful, everyone looked miserable, the bathrooms were absolutely atrocious (feces and urine dried on the walls; toilet paper strung out on the floor everywhere.) I would attach pictures if it wouldn't completely disgust everyone that saw this review. Half of the items I came in for were out of stock and the shelves were an absolute mess. And on my way out I had to wait in a line of six people because of course there can never be enough cashiers or even self-checkouts! Target: if you're not going to staff people, at least build more self-checks so your customers that are paying a premium to begin with don't have to wait for a line of full carts to get through. Absolutely awful. For a company worth 70+ billion dollars you would expect much better. Will be shopping elsewhere where the store actually gives somewhat of a crap about their customers. The drive-through pick up here was not a good experience. When I arrived, my wait time was 14 minutes which is understandable because I know they are very busy and probably understaffed. What I didn't appreciate was them accidentally canceling my order when I arrived. They told me the order was just canceled upon my arrival and there was nothing they could do about it. I understand accidents happen but when I asked how we could resolve the issue they told me "I don't know what you want me to do about it it's been canceled." I called customer service and had to re-tell my story to several individuals and the end result was "I bet that was annoying unfortunately there's nothing I can do." This entire year has been a year of uncertainty. It was really disheartening to not be able to rely on a service that I paid for and have yet to receive any confirmation that my order was canceled. Target is usually so good with notifications and I received nothing. If they accidentally canceled my order on my way to the store I understand those things happen and I would be more understanding. But it sounded like there was a major problem, they canceled my order, thought it was no big deal, and did nothing about it. To me that's unacceptable. read more

Target is our go to store for out basic needs other than groceries. This target trip was a spur of the moment decision as it's not our home store but the store was clean, staff was friendly. No matter what target your at, you can't beat the clearance on the end caps which are always awesome. We scored a 100 dollar set of sheets for 25 that were new unused returns from online that ended up in the clearance rack because it wasn't stocked in store. Great experience! read more

Maybe a freezer broke or they put a new one in, I'm not sure but not a big deal. After my experience last night 2/26 I will not be returning to this location. Manager Linda was insulting, short and darn right rude. Target.com had an item at 1.99 as opposed to in store 4.99. My friend and I were asking for a price match. My friend was ahead of me in line and when it came to my transaction Linda said target.com shows the item as 4.99. After my friend showed Linda the item & price at target.com Linda continued to insist we were at a third party site & not target.com. There was a discrepancy with Linda's target.com that showed 4.99. After 20 minutes of interrogation and Linda saying target.com will always have lower prices than in store along with much attitude from Linda she finally let the transaction go through. Along with saying manufacturer coupons will never be applied with price matching, even if it's on their own web site. I'm deeply disappointed in the treatment and attitude of the store manager.
