This is actually the worse Target in regards to pickup. There is no customer service booth. It's actually in the express line. Poor workers have to scramble looking for your products and thats after 4 people cut in line because nobody knows what line is what. Poor management /system. To be honest this Target location has really gone downhill over the past two years. I think COVID has been hard on the retail industry and I'm sure folks at this location are underpaid and overworked, which translates into the consumer experience. The store itself is fairly clean and well stocked, but I've had a few really negative experiences lately when I've chosen to not use the self checkout. I usually use the self checkout and in those instances this is for sure a 4 star location, but when I have to interact with someone it gets weird. One time recently the cashier was checked out to the point of choosing to just not interact with me at all. I was being my usual chatty self but she just stared at me - okay, whatever. I then tried to redeem a manufacturer coupon for a defective cereal I purchased at this same store a few weeks prior and they told me it won't work because the system won't take it. I was pretty peeved since I'd waited about 20 minutes in line so I could use the coupon, so I explained calmly that it was given to me because of a bad item I had purchased here and the manager gave me some sass before comping the cereal. For around $4 I felt like the whole experience was just insanely complicated and dumb. Yes, dumb on my end for even caring, but also really dumb on their end for not just comping the $4 and making an already weird experience weirder. Will I return? Ultimately yes since it's the closest Target to me, but there are other options and this spot is becoming less and less fun to shop at. read more

This was a smaller Target store compared to others but the store was very clean, well organized, and well stocked. A few employees actually greeted me with a smile and asked how I was doing. Ended up getting some men hair products. Their men's hygiene section is well stocked with a good variety of different manufacturers, more so than other Targets in Nebraska. Awful! Came in on a Friday afternoon and was highly disappointed. I went to the clothing section and it was so disorganized. Got a few things to try on and when I went into the dressing room, it was PILED full of clothes, each room!!! It looked like more clothes in the rooms than on the shopping floor. There was no attendant at the counter during my visit and can't imagine there had ever been one. The shoe section was a little messy and unorganized. I would think being in a nice area of town, near the mall and other high end department stores that you'd want to take care of your store and ensure that it is easy to navigate and not become overwhelmed as a customer. read more

This is my Go-To Target. I frequent this store more than I'd like to admit. But I bet most girls feel the same way. Their store is relatively always clean, I give them a break when it's the holiday season. This isn't a Target Super Store, but they do have grocery items. I do wish they offered more in the way of produce. Their bananas never look appealing, and again, I'm there all the time. For all other grocery items, I'd say I can generally find everything I'm looking for. Since I do find myself at Target so much, I've had their Target Red Card (the debit card, not the credit card) for many years now and love it! It connects right to your debit card so it's not another credit card. Perks include 5% absolutely everytime you shop online and in the store, extended return policy from 60 to 90 days, and it's basically my receipt holder. Instead of trying to keep track of my receipts in case I need to return something, as long as tags are still on or the barcode isn't messed up, they can just swipe my card and easily find it. Oh, and free shipping online. I'm also a HUGE fan of their Cartwheel app. If you frequent Target, you need to download their app. Ever notice signs that say, save 20% with the cartwheel? Well that's what they're talking about. A lot of times it's just 5% off, but hey, money off is money in your pocket! But other times, they will have amazing sales on top of sales already going on in the store. My best deal to date was 30% and 50% off on sweaters and other items in Womens. They had other good sales that day and I saved over $30 just from the app, not including the 5% from my target card. So, yeah, download it and get the red card. Even if you don't frequent the store, why not save money every time you do go there? Ok, to get back to this store specifically. They're pretty good about opening up lanes when the lines get long at checkout. Most of the cashiers are friendly although I've ran into a few that you could tell pretty much hated their life. :/ But I guess every retailer has a couple of those. Lastly, and this is my pet peeve of Target in general, everyone carries around those darn walkie-talkies and leave them on so loud. They talk on them as if they think they are the only ones listening when hello, we ALL can hear you. Sometimes it isn't a big deal, but sometimes I've heard them talk about customers or things completely inappropriate for customers to hear. I don't understand why they don't just wear headphones or something. Seriously, everyone, including managers, could use a lesson in how not to talk on devices where your customers are a part of the audience as well. read more

We had the WORST experience here today. There is a lady with "blonde" hair at the Customer Service counter today who had ZERO customer service. She was in the wrong department! She should have been outside with the trash! She was so nasty to us. I left in tears. She made buying a sweeper impossible! We tried 3 different ways and could not get the internet to connect inside their store to do a price match online. She would not give us the sale price because of that. Each time we stepped aside to try it and came back to the counter to see if it worked she asked us to go to the BACK OF THE LINE again! She was ridiculous!!! This is kinda like the red headed stepchild Target. Which, at its worst, will never be as nasty and obscene as the very best Walmart. This is an excellent Target to choose if you follow the designer releases (which I do) and you hope to find something left when you arrive. For some reason, the fashionistas always forget about this store, which makes it prime picking for fashion hunters like me. I went to this location and to exchange and item to get the correct item at this location I was retold that their store limitation amount per return was $60. I find it hard to believe that this location is the only one with a $60 return limit when the company has a 90 day window regardless of where you purchased it. The returns supervisor and manager (acting) tried to inform my wife that they had a local policy only to that statement above. I then proceeded to have the item returned and exchanged by someone else. The point in all this is to show racism and segregation in a location that shouldn't reflect it. I am finally mustering up the courage to review this Target and giving it a 2 star rating. I love Target, or Tar-jay as I call it, but I am not a fan of this place. I use Target's Cartwheel app often and doing so requires at least some sort of internet connection, however, AT&T and Sprint (the only carriers I've experienced in here) literally has no service once you step inside the building. I know this isn't Target's fault, but hey, it's still something I experienced at this store. For some reason, items just don't seem to be in stock here compared to other my experience in other Target stores, namely, the one on Broadmoor, or the Super Target in Olathe. I specifically remember coming in here and finding no bananas, no Trident w/ Layer gum, and very low stock of Christmas ornaments. Maybe I just have bad luck, but it just feels like the items I need are never in stock. Finally, in my opinion, the employees aren't as friendly as other Target places. In any case, this Target is closest to my home and close to Oak Park Mall, which is convenient, but it's difficult shopping here when I can never find anything. read more

Once again I'm missing items from my pick up order. I call immediately once I realize it, and I'm placed on hold while someone looks for my items. Then the call drops. I call back and new associate says they will look. I ask if I can just have refund for items. He said I'd have to come Into the store. I can also come back later and pick up items if they find them. I had an absolutely HORRIBLE experience here a few years ago so I've been nervous about coming back. It's definitely not my favorite Target or my closest, but when I'm in the area and really need something, I'll run in here quickly, and hope I don't get yelled at by a cashier for no reason like I did a few years ago. Seriously, I still have PTSD from that experience. I ended up calling Target corporate and the woman assured me that the clerk I'd dealt with would be disciplined. I hate to get anyone in trouble, but seriously this dude was just not right- he shouldn't be allowed in public. ANYWAY! I needed just one thing here the other day. I found it quickly and headed to the checkout area, only to find that at least a dozen people were waiting and they had only 3 lanes open. I decided to do self checkout which I hate because the little computer always yells at me that I'm doing something wrong, but I did it anyway since I didn't feel like standing in long lines behind people with full carts just to purchase one item. I used to run a retail store and I'd never allow so many people to wait in line without opening more registers- that's just bad customer service. They never made eye contact, yet alone, greet you or ask if there was anything they could help you find. HOWEVER, Jim (an employee), was a light that shined so bright! This is not my normal Target. This is my Target on the side... I started coming here when my local Target ran out of the Missoni specials. Ever since then, if I cannot find something at my favorite target, I come here. The layout is similar to what you would find in other stores, so even if you are not familiar you can still find what you are looking for. You don't find a lot of trash like you do in similar large scale stores like this. I am a fan of the target prescription bottles and the text alerts when your prescription is ready for pick up. Overall, the store is clean and well stocked. The staff is friendly, and they always have plenty of check-outs staffed. read more

But, worst of all- they literally honor zero clearance. even if it is cheaper online- the lady working the other day told me.. "well, order it online then." I mean..from target.com. This has been my favorite Target since i moved here to Overland Park. everything is always stocked everything they have things to sell that i've never ever encountered in a Target like- rollerblades, thier exercise equipment area is amazing, the cashiers actually are friendly and i've never had to wait to check out. they may not be a Super but they have an excellent selection of snacks and foods with the Archer Farms market brand. read more
