I entered Target on a rainy blustery day with a small list of things I needed to purchase. Toilet paper, Kotex (I know men, TMI) and Kitty Litter. Pretty reasonable list, right? Wrong. Apparently they pump something into the air that tricks your brain into thinking that you really really need to keep shopping. Especially those clearance aisle end caps. I know it's called self control, but I enter a Target and I have none. As far as cleanliness this store isn't as pristine as others I have been in but still, the floors were not muddied, even with heavy rain and the grocery area was very much in order. The prices are Target prices. A tad more than Walmart but cheaper than having to shop at four different places for all your needs. Convenience is the key. The customer service is okay. Our cashier was nice but we never encountered anyone asking after our well being. I guess maybe we just looked like seasoned shopping professionals. All in all a good visit. I wish I still had that extra $50 bucks in my pocket though. read more

I pulled up at 7:58 the store isnt even open yet! Somehow the whole front half of the parking lot is full! No cars at the back!! How rude this place does not have their associates park near the back and leave the front parking for the customers!!! No wonder you can never find parking at Target.........unless you just automatically drive to the back of the lot. What about seniors or people that have a disability with no placard! Honestly, I've been coming or a year. They are the fastest for drive up even when they are busy. It's located in the hood so I see they get customer who just want to use their bathroom or who come in and stream so I feel bad for them. But, they are kind and professional and treat all the customers the same. I hope they continue to bring items out quickly for riverside up because I appreciate them respecting our time. They also have never messed up my order and they really look for your items to try to get everything you need. Great job guys! read more

I love the self-check out area and even the regular check out area, the staff are friendly and courteous. Great Target location. I use this store frequently on my lunches to get shopping done or take care of prescriptions, or get cash back... it's so convenient. I'm so glad they have stayed I'm this neighborhood. I heard they were closing like 5 years ago but that didn't happen, thankfully. This is my go to target when I'm in san bernardino. 10x better than the one on sterling. I usually go to the one in moreno valley and I like how everything is set up the same so I know where everything is. I don't have any complaints about this location. Lines are usually fast. It is pretty clean. Obviously the building is older but it's well taken care of inside. They have security which is much needed everywhere in this city. read more

I come to this Target all the time. It's gets busy sometimes, but it all depends on what time you arrive at this place. Most of the cashiers are friendly and pretty quick, I might add. I prefer Target over Walmart simply because we see less "ghetto" people here. I know I know, sounds harsh right? Not really, It's the truth and thats how I like to express it. Every Walmart I've been too what do I see? Dogs, DVD/CD, Perfume, Tamales & whatever crazy thing you could think of. It's more about the pizza hut that's inside the store, They never have pizza!! Normally fast food chain stores manage their peek lunch hours accordingly. They have a sign that pizza is not available until 12:30 that's already cutting 30 minutes into my lunch and then they don't have any at 12:42 and say it'll take 15 minutes to make. read more

I've been here for 40 minutes at the drive up waiting on my stuff that I ordered days ago... I shop online because I have to, I work full time and I'm a Mom and a wife and. I need quick convenient options so drive up it usually great! This is the second time I have come to this store and been absolutely terrible! The first time I tried to drive up all of the spots were taken, there was no space for me to park to get my stuff. So I went inside and waited about 20 minutes in like to get a few items. I just wasted gas and time and all of my patience her with this Target, this store is a mess inside and out. Sloppy and trash overflowing outside. Poor management and probably overwhelmed and overworked staff. They need to get on top of it. This will be the last time I come here! It took 30 minutes of waiting then I flagged a guy down then wait for him to return and it Turns out the had given my order to someone else on accident... how? I have now been here almost an hour. This location could use a little TLC.. it's never really busy in here so I don't understand why the store is never maintained. Shopping carts are always dirty and full of garbage. Drove 20 minutes at 9pm to this target to get my drive up order. I get there I'm waiting and nothing then a worker comes to tell me they lost my order and can't find it by this time it was 9:50 I've been waiting for 30 minutes and they say they will re pick it just to wait it's 10pm another worker comes and says you have to come tomorrow it's closed now after waiting there for so long. Worst store I've ever shopped in. 40% off signs all over store but not applied in computers. I purchased 2 shampoos in 40% off, 1 cost $4. 99 & 1 $3.92 also bought 40% air freshener $.99 After paying total for purchases I noticed that I paid $4.99 for both shampoos. I returned to get refund, all cash register wanted to refund was .o8. It took 45 mins. to get correct charges. Today I look at my bill & notice, I didn't get 40% on air freshener. All total Target would have cheated me off several dollars, add everyone who has bought 40% off products they have cheated $100's off of us by not getting savings we thought were applied to out totals read more

Store is usually clean and not crowded. This Target is close to my work and is super convenient when I'm running in on my lunch, or after work. Today I paid for everything and was getting in my car when I realized I forgot to use my cartwheel coupons on my phone. I turned & went back in to see if they could just credit back the difference on my card. Long story short - it turned into the longer ordeal ever (not their fault) but the lady helping me KATIE, was so nice and helpful. She was super patient and didn't even seem the least bit irritated. Thanks Katie for figuring it out and getting me out of there as quick as you did! :) By the way, the cartwheel app is a joke. I saved like $2! I just moved out here and have been to this target on occasion but whenever I go to the STARBUCKS there, the customer service is horrible. I used to work at Starbucks so I understand, but NOT ever this bad, especially to my friends who have recently went. I will be a customer at target; I have no choice, but completely ruined not only my experience, but the people I am close with. Ex: the man taking my order started complaining about why I am getting cups of a syrup and started complaining about this other customer getting it too. My gripe with this target is and always will be the Target cafe/ food Avenue. Never does it fail that they either close the cafe early or that they are never stocked with items at the ready. I can understand if it's once in a while but it is every time I come here. The workers are unorganized and have lack of pride I think it is due the cafe always being short staffed. They don't make pizza because of the effort it takes hence why they tell customers it's going to take 15-20 minutes. They expedite the line if it's easier items to make so it's actually 15-20 minutes until they work down the line. Which as you can imagine takes longer almost 45 mins. I purchased a vacuum sealer from this target for pickup as my usual target did not have it in stock. It was $200. If I'm going to pay $200 for an item I'd like it to be NEW! To me, if it's noon and you know people are coming in on their lunch, that's the time to increase, not *decrease* cashiers. This is by far the most unpleasant Target I have ever been to - was in town for the day and stopped by to pick up a few things and just wow... Clothes all on the floor, over half the makeup section was missing. All of the self checkout stations were CLOSED and only two of the regular checkouts were open, and wow was the girl at the register rude - no hello, no bye, not even a smile and a very snotty tone. If it weren't for the fact that my dog needed food and by the time I got home to the one in Simi it would be closed, I would've left right there. Seriously need to get more cashiers. No reason the return area should be only one person when the line goes all the way to the food court. Only 3 lanes open and 8 people at least in each line. I go in to grab one item and I'm in line for over 15 minutes. I have been late back to work when I go in on my lunch break. I spend more time in line then I do shopping! If I didn't work so close and live so close, I'd go else where. Your managers have attitudes, they don't assist their employees when they need back up. About the only thing of interest nearby was a bowling alley down the way from it. Selection at this Target is average, though I found the game section to have a bit more variety than what I've found in other Targets. Not the best place to come to to shop but if you want your staple Target goods, you'll probably find them here. read more

I usually visit the Target on Sterling since it is the closest to my house, but we were out and in a hurry today so we stopped here. I got some Robitussin because I've been having a bad cough for about 3 days now. Voice is half way gone and everything. Anyways, we walk up to the cashier and she asks for my ID. Like I mentioned earlier, we were in a hurry when we left the house so I didn't realize I left my house without it. She said "Well I need to see an ID." I ask "How old do you have be to buy it?" Since I clearly look my age (20) She states, "It's not an age issue." So then what was it?? My boyfriend pulled his ID out, and she just quickly glanced at it and finally scanned the Robitussin. THEN comes the WORST part! I payed with one of those new hundred dollar bills, she takes it from me, looks at it, looks back at me and asks "Is this even real??" Um? I was really mad at that point, so I shot her the nasty, same look she was shooting me. I said "Yes! They're the new hundreds!" and she left us waiting forever to go and ask another cashier!.. When she came back she was laughing, and says "Unbelievable, I hadn't seen these yet. I guess it IS real." Ugh. From now on we will stick to the to the one on Sterling! read more
