The employee at this Target either gave me incorrect information or did not know what they were doing. I have been treated unfairly several times, and this experience was extremely frustrating. Why doesn't the reviews surprise me at all. The fact that the 1 star is the largest. Hmm. I pull up to grocery and have my window down. The girls demands my number in a loud voice. I finally had the opportunity to stop by this Target. On our way back from Valencia, my wife needed some vitamins so this Target was on our way back. We found parking easily at night time because it's in a big plaza. They have a separate area for drive up or pick up so look for that if you're doing pickup. When you walk inside the store, Starbucks and the bathroom are on the right and pharmacy is on the left toward the back of the store. The employees are very friendly here and helpful if you have any questions. They also have self checkout and more cashier station open tonight than other Target I been to. We had a great time walking around the store and getting the stuff we needed. read more

I have been a loyal, regular customer at this Target since day one, and what I experienced yesterday (8/17/25) was nothing short of unacceptable, discriminatory, and against Target's own policies. When I asked Guest Services about Pokémon products, the employee gave the usual scripted response -- "Let me go check." However, as has happened to me multiple times now, the Guest Services Lead/Manager appeared, took one look at me, and instructed the employee to say "no." This is not an isolated incident -- it has happened repeatedly to myself and others in the Pokémon community. Let me be crystal clear: this is selective selling. It is discrimination. And it is a direct violation of Target policy. To make matters worse, this very store has already been caught selling Pokémon items directly to employees while they are on the clock. So I know product is available -- it's just being withheld from actual customers in favor of select insiders. That is unethical, unprofessional, and entirely unacceptable. The way management chooses to look at me and then deny product feels humiliating, discriminatory, and targeted (no pun intended). As a loyal customer, I should not have to feel singled out, profiled, or excluded when all I am trying to do is purchase items that are supposed to be for sale to the public. I will be escalating this matter to Target Corporate Guest Relations, the District Manager, and if necessary, the Better Business Bureau. I will also be encouraging other members of the Pokémon collecting community to share their experiences, because clearly this is not an isolated issue at this store. Target prides itself on inclusivity and fairness, yet this location is engaging in practices that are the complete opposite. I expect this matter to be reviewed and addressed immediately by corporate, because this store's management team has made it clear that they will continue this behavior until they are held accountable. read more

They had one lane open with a huge line of people waiting and getting frustrated. The self check out is open as well but you can't purchase alcohol. Literally employees walking past but no one wants to help. The line kept getting longer and longer and still no other lanes opened up. Unprofessional and frustrating! read more

New Target just opened yesterday (4/9/24). The grand opening will be 4/14/24! Huge location that took over the old Sam's Club next to Home Depot. Everything is new and it looks great. Love that there's finally a Target in the Sylmar/San fernando area! This location just had their grand opening so the store is well stocked, organized, and very spacious inside! I will say that even though they just opened, parking is already a bit of a struggle to find so just need some patience. Staff was very nice during checkout. This is a review of their order pickup service: I sincerely cannot understand how this specific location chooses to run their order pickup. I typically use the Granada hills location & they can have 2x the amount of cars doing pickup but take less time. This likely has to do with the fact that they only bring out 1 order at a time here, whereas other locations send orders out in batches when possible. Instead, these people are doing a long/extra slow walk to/from the parking lot for every individual order, even though many of us arrived at similar times. I've been waiting here for more than 20 minutes at this point and arrived around the same time as 2 other cars. If they were batching, they could have just done one walk with multiple orders (like they do at every other target I've ever picked up from.) I highly recommend against doing drive up here! Just go in. Even if there's a long line, it will take less time than waiting for your order here. Like literally... look at how many words I wrote here. I didn't start this review until I'd hit the 20 minute mark, and I'm STILL here waiting as I type up a whole novel explaining how other targets do it better. The inside of this target location is clean and nice but the parking lot is a disaster. I was walking back my to my car with my 3 year old and a transient followed us to my car and popped out while I was putting my kid in my car. I yelled and asked him to get away from me and then he approached another young mom with a stroller in the next isle. I felt so unsafe. There was a security guard roaming around when I first got there but he wasn't there when this happened. Never going back there alone with my kid. read more

The highest manger according to her named Nairi is really rude. Doesn't care to help just wants to act like a child and feel superior to customers which isn't okay at all. The customer service overall is horrible This store needs to be more organized in where to place their employees . One employee was doing drive ups and he got pulled to clean the restroom two managers were talking rather than getting the orders out to the cars . Look I understand retail and dealing with customers isn't easy... I'm not a difficult person whatsoever.... Decided to check this target out since it's new and by my house. I never buy electronics from Target but decided to get an Amazon Echo Kids for my daughter since she saw it and wanted it. When I went to use the sensor to request a worker, no one came. Waited 15 minutes, and after multiple attempts using the sensor to call a worker for service, no one came. Saw 2 workers in the toy section and asked the 2nd one for assistance and said they didn't have the key, but they would call someone. Proceeded to wait 10 more minutes, and no one came. I decided to leave and go purchase it somewhere else instead. read more

This is for Target Optical. The Optometrist was great and the initial help in selecting glasses and collecting my $500+ money went real smooth. But from that point forward, a fail. It has been almost 3 weeks and no glasses even though I was told it would be one week, two at most. Just so you know, their "contact" for optical is an East Coast number so they stop providing services to the West Coast at about 2:30 pm. That should tell you their commitment to customer service for the West Coast. They send text message saying your order will be delayed without explanation or an estimated delivery date and if you have any questions, call "123-456-7890." Seriously. Is that a joke? What customer service gives a call back number that is an invalid number? Another example of their commitment to service, or lack thereof. Called the store to inquire and someone asked if they could put me on "brief hold." 15 minutes later, no one picks up. Call back 2 more times before I got a person who said they couldn't check now because some department was closed, presumably the East Coast because again, they don't keep West Coast hours. I asked if I could come in to cancel the order and 10 minutes later got a call saying my glasses are there and ready. Really? It took threatening to ask for my money back to realize the glasses are sitting there. How long were they sitting there? Calling 123-456-7890 isn't going to result in any answers since it is an invalid number. Again. Optometrist was great! Initial service when picking out glasses, great! A lot of work needed on the tail end of the service. read more

Fairly new Target, there is approx. 6 registers and only two are ever opened so no matter what time you go there will always be a wait time. Severely understaffed. Otherwise staff there are super sweet and helpful... needs more employees read more
