The inside was fairly clean and didn't smell like a nasty trucker who hadn't showered in a week. Yes, most truckers shower daily but you have the random few who act like they're going for a world record with the number of days between showering. I digress... on the inside you'll find a Subway and Popeyes. The parking area is pretty dirty with trash littered about. Hey, it could be worse and it could DEFINITELY be better. I first approach the fuel Isle counter to get a shower and the young lady was very nice. I had a 20 minute wait on my shower so we went and waited in the restaurant area which has GodFather Pizza, Chester's Chicken and Subway. While waiting one of the young female workers offered Us a Strawberry Creme Cheese pie because it had burst and they couldn't serve it. Wow what a great treat. Then once my shower was ready I was offered additional towels if I needed them. Once I was ready to get dressed I had purchased some leggings and I was trying to put them on and they were not true to size. I ended up having Mister bring me another outfit. I approached Marshae and explaining to her the leggings were not true to size and she took me to Christie for her to assist me. Christie-offered me to try another pair in a larger size which I did but they didn't make much of a difference. I'm satisfied thou because they all gave great customer service with a smile..To make the morning complete we ended up purchasing food from Chester's Chicken while we continue to wait on the truck.

We tried cancel and clear numerous times, and the cashier stated no receipt paper was available either so we could have a copy of the transaction.

Huge mirror, consistent hot water, no time limit, soap, towel, washcloth, and mat provided, oscillating fan, full size toilet for guys, outlets. Holy Jesus what a beautiful thing. Lost one star because essential hygiene products were slim and shower slippers or flip flops or basic shirts, socks, and underwear were not available. You can grab a bite to eat and watch the game in the lounge until your ahower is ready and do your laundry here too! The people are super friendly and it's totally worth the 12 to 15 bucks. I wish these were all over California, especially in the SF Bay Area, but until then I'll be here in West Texas making as much as I can so I can afford to leave.

I open my milk thus morning and it was sour already. The date on bottle was for July 15 2025. This was my 3rd container of milk that expires earlier than it was supposed to. They have a seven day return policy but the assistant manager didn't want to give us our money back. Also today is the 6th of January. Went to get burger buns and sen over 10 packages with expires buns on the shelf. Use caution buying food here.

There are places you can sit to eat your food. And there are plenty of hot and cold food options. Plenty of snacks and drinks, ice and much more. There is an ATM available. You can go through the regular checkout line or through one of multiple self check out lines. They're open 24/7. The oil boom in this area has caused the need for such places as pilot travel center. Several new hotels of also popped up, much more than you would expect for a town the size of Big Lake. The bathrooms are well-maintained.
