She said she'll have the seller's signature by the morning. Lo and behold, she ghosted us for 3 days, and came back on the 4th day saying that another buyer placed an offer, and that we would need to raise our offer if we wanted to get the house!! Basically, she wanted to start a bidding war. We declined to participate in her dirty games and withdrew our offer. Just in case you didn't catch this, she was showing the house AFTER she gave us her word and AFTER she received a written contract from us that was just waiting on the seller's signature.
