Egg roll

Service was honestly great. Didn't have to ask for much but the flavor just completely lacked. I wanted to try a new spot since I was in the area but unfortunately it's nothing to rave about. The soup lacked flavor and so did the eggs rolls. The egg rolls tasted like they have been sitting there and just warmed them up. I should've known the food wasn't going to be good when the entire place was empty during lunch. I Wish the food was as good as the service!

Taste of pho was a great stop! Great service & our food came out fast! Everything was delicious too, no complaints from me. I went to taste of pho around lunchtime on a Wednesday. The restaurant was kinda busy, not not too bad. Our food came out so quickly! It was insane. The pho was pretty delicious and the brisket was super tender. The lo mein was delicious too and super authentic. The Vietnamese wings were pretty delicious as well, I'd recommend getting these. Overall, for a small place the food and service here was really great. Id recommend stopping in!

The pho broth was okay. I would prefer a little bit more flavor as it tasted like the ratio of water to flavor was a little high. The rice noodles were okay though maybe less springy than others. There's a little less meat than expected for a large pho, but it wasn't too skimpy. The staff was happy to serve and check if I needed anything. The dish was cooked to a good temperature, and the price isn't bad if you have a sudden hankering for some hot broth, noodles and meat.

Had my doubts after reading some bad reviews and even thought my first visit was a fluke, but I have come back and this place offers delicious food consistently! Came here with my husband, sister and a friend the first time as it was one of the only open pho places around after 8pm and we all had a craving for it. To our surprise, the service was good and quick! We ordered a few apps and phos and we all absolutely loved it!! As someone who consistently gets chicken pho, this was one of the first broths I tasted that was SOOO flavorful without adding anything to it. The second time we went, I even tried my husband's pho to make sure it wasn't a beef broth added to chicken and it definitely wasn't. Two distinct flavors but both so good! The large phos are a very big size for a decent price. Everything else we tried is also sooo good. The Vietnamese egg rolls are smaller than normal but still delicious. The lady who has helped us every time is so sweet and attentive. She always offers to pack our leftovers when she sees we have a lot leftover. Decent parking too since it's in a shopping strip. This place is always full of business, dine in and to go. Definitely a top pho place in the spring area!

Me and my wife and my sister decided to try a new place for lunch The Taste of Pho. once we arrived, we were greeted kindly and efficiently. Upon entering the atmosphere of the restaurant seems very calm, clean and overall relaxing. The menu seem to be very simple with lots of options and lots of things to try. For appetizer, we ordered fried dumplings and also spring rolls starting off with the spring rolls. They were very fresh. The shrimp in them tasted very fresh so did the noodles and the lettuce that was inside. The fried dumplings were heavenly fried to a crisp with lots of flavor and freshness The sauce, which I believe was soy sauce, complemented the fried dumplings, extremely well and elevated them to a whole new level. We ordered a beef and pork Bahn mi and also a chicken and shrimp Pho. Starting with the Bahn mi surprisingly they were very empty. My beef sandwich didn't have much meat, but instead had lots of cilantro, carrots, jalapeños, despite this the bread was fresh and very crisp having a crunch with every bite. The flavor was sweet from the meat, but it balanced well with the vegetables now for the pork sandwich. The pork sandwich was overwhelmingly sweet, and I was completely thrown off by the flavor of the pork sandwich just like the beef sandwich not much protein was inside, but instead, lots of cilantro and carrots I would definitely not get the pork sandwich again, but the beef sandwich was pretty good. Had it had more protein. Now for the chicken Pho which was perfect the broth had a rich flavor with the hint of sweetness, the onions that were inside, balanced that sweet as well. The chicken was cooked perfectly, and the broth was so rich and nutrients feeling like a hug on the tongue and healing of the soul, I was extremely pleased by this Pho the noodles were cooked perfectly, not too soft and not too hard this Pho was a 10/10 . No moving on to the shrimp Pho which was also done perfectly the broth was nice rich and flavoring. Also a nice amount of green onions on top and other garnishes to balance out the flavor. The shrimp was fresh. The noodles cooked perfectly, and the broth was so rich in flavor. overall, the experience was nice staff were extremely friendly and efficient, but I cannot get over the beef sandwich and the pork sandwich. They just were not to my pleasing, but overall the taste of a is a nice place to go for lunch.

Some of the best Vietnamese eggrolls I've had, hot, crispy tasty. The beef vermicelli was a bit dry but tasty. I would have preferred a bit more moisture. The noodles were solid and it's definitely worth a second visit.

I was happy to get a booth dining alone. There were a few customers there but it was not super busy. It was a clean and calm environment. I ordered the spring rolls and beef Pho. The spring tops were fresh and crispy just the way I like it. Although it was fried it wasn't greasy. My large Pho came out and it had nice flavor on its own. I asked for some chilli oil and the waitress promptly bought some out. My eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach because I had to take more than half to go. It's a win for me because I love left over Pho! I will say my entire dining experience was excellent. The price aligned with the quality food and service. I will definitely be back.

I'm always on the hunt to try new Vietnamese spots and sometimes have to travel to The Woodlands…read morefor work and thought that I would give Pho Viet Tastes a try due to high ratings on Yelp. Searching for a banh mi sandwich with tofu for a quick lunch takeout, I was pleased to see that the restaurant was close to interstate 45 for a quick stop on the way back to Houston (timing is everything to beat the traffic in this area - IYKYK). I ended up ordering both the tofu vermicelli and a tofu banh mi because obviously, you need to try more than one thing. It was fine. Out of the two dishes, the vermicelli was my favorite. It came with a generous portion of noodles, a small lettuce and shredded carrot salad, several large wedges of tofu in a kind of curry sauce, and the classic vermicelli sauce to drizzle over the whole dish. The flavor was good, although what I would consider a slight deviation from traditional flavors, and overall filling. Vermicelli is always a dependable choice and I was satisfied with this dish. The tofu banh mi, however was nothing special. I prefer the bread to be a bit more crispy on the outside with a soft interior and this one was fairly soft all over. Inside, the tofu really needed more seasoning, seemingly cooked without any added flavors except for the fried finish. I added some hoisin sauce but still it needed something more. I'm always eager to try new places but not sure that this one will be a repeat for me.

The food was very good!…read more I was hesitant at first because some of the menu seemed to be fusion items. In a place like Houston, where you can get authentic Vietnamese food, this can be a luck draw if the fusion pays off. However, when I tried the food, it was a very flavorful and worth every cent I spent. Everything was very tasty. The wings were flavorful and crisp. It had a combination of crispy skin seasoned with a rich sauce. The meat was also moist. For a party of two, it was also very shareable because they gave six pieces -both drums and wings. I will say that you really gotta to get in there get your hands and face dirty though! (They did provide a hand wipe!) For the main dishes, the won tonic soup was very flavorful with sweet-and-sour elements with egg noodles that soaked up all this good flavor. The wontons inside were very standard. And the onion was added to provide some balance. Everything was very hardy and filling. My friend had gotten the vermicelli. Which came with crunchy egg rolls, shredded veggies, noodles, and shrimp topped with a fish sauce. It felt very light and refreshing with a balance of textures and savory elements'. Highly recommend as the number one and two selling dishes - it would just depend on if you're in a soup or dry noodle sort of mood. Service was overall fast and friendly. You have to pay by going to the counter. We had a newer waiter though, and it took him a long time to get our orders correctly and he had to get some help. Hopefully they're doing well, but overall, it's a very cute Homie little establishment. Seating fits around 30 around booths and tables.
