Stir-fry & Noodles with crispy egg noodles and chicken
Akhilesh B.

EAD gives you a feel of almost being in Vietnam when you enter - the furniture, decor and arrangements are very authentic to the style there. The service was decent and servers very polite. All of the food for our party arrived promptly, except for my food which took almost 45 mins so I had to have them make it a take out order. Coming to the food, I ordered the crispy noodles with stur chicken and vegetables. While it was decent, it is not something that will make me want to go there again just for it.

I do like the pork bahn mi sandwiches here. I think it's better than other places in the woodlands. Decor is nice and sleek too.

Cold night called for some warm hearty food from EAD. Tried the chicken noodle soup. The broth had such great flavor. The chicken was so tender. Definitely will come back for that. Service was excellent as always.

I had a great lunch here! The ambiance is very soothing and relaxed. I highly recommend the soda lemonade! It was my first time ordering one and it was amazing. The pho was hot, had a delicious broth and the meat was perfect. The staff was even kind enough to split the large portion into two bowls so my partner and I could flavor ours to our liking. I will be returning!

Our waiter was amazing memorizing all our orders and there were 9 of us and got our orders correctly. The inter design is nicely decorated w Vietnamese Buddha at the entrance, fancy plates on the call, color scheme and layout are open and welcoming. The food was good for a great price!

I went to lunch with a colleague here on a recent weekday. The restaurant was moderately busy, but we were seated right away. The server was very courteous and attentive. We had two appetizers- BBQ wraps and fried shrimp. Both were excellent. I had the beef stir fry rice dish, and ate everything delicious bit of it. We treated ourselves to the flan for dessert. It came with crushed ice and iced coffee poured over it, making for a unique and tasty dessert. It was a nice ambiance for our lunch meeting.

The food is super tasty, excellent service and nice accommodations but also very very clean. Try the vermicelli with steak lemongrass and jalapeño.

Well this was the first visit to this place. It was a win. I ordered the Pho Combination and it was very good. For my taste anyway. The dining room area was clean and neat. We arrived about 45 minutes after they opened and they did not disappoint. Service was friendly and kind. Will make this a go to place.

Love their house siracha! I have been back since before this review and I am in love with the Seafood Pho and obsessed with the Mango Smoothie. I highly recommend getting your pho fix here. Employees are very nice and accommodating to any special request or needs.

Everything was delicious, the egg rolls were crispy and tasty. I wish they were a bit larger! The vermicelli was good, the fish sauce wasn't too overpowering/fishy and was a bit on the sweeter side which I enjoyed. The chicken was tender, and a little dry but overall had great flavor.

We came here the night before Ironman TX to get some clean carbs and it was a great experience. The food was incredibly good and the service was very fast. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for good Vietnamese food.

I was happy to get a booth dining alone. There were a few customers there but it was not super busy. It was a clean and calm environment. I ordered the spring rolls and beef Pho. The spring tops were fresh and crispy just the way I like it. Although it was fried it wasn't greasy. My large Pho came out and it had nice flavor on its own. I asked for some chilli oil and the waitress promptly bought some out. My eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach because I had to take more than half to go. It's a win for me because I love left over Pho! I will say my entire dining experience was excellent. The price aligned with the quality food and service. I will definitely be back.

Searching for a banh mi sandwich with tofu for a quick lunch takeout, I was pleased to see that the restaurant was close to interstate 45 for a quick stop on the way back to Houston (timing is everything to beat the traffic in this area - IYKYK). I ended up ordering both the tofu vermicelli and a tofu banh mi because obviously, you need to try more than one thing. It was fine. Out of the two dishes, the vermicelli was my favorite. It came with a generous portion of noodles, a small lettuce and shredded carrot salad, several large wedges of tofu in a kind of curry sauce, and the classic vermicelli sauce to drizzle over the whole dish. The flavor was good, although what I would consider a slight deviation from traditional flavors, and overall filling. Vermicelli is always a dependable choice and I was satisfied with this dish. The tofu banh mi, however was nothing special. I prefer the bread to be a bit more crispy on the outside with a soft interior and this one was fairly soft all over. Inside, the tofu really needed more seasoning, seemingly cooked without any added flavors except for the fried finish. I added some hoisin sauce but still it needed something more. I'm always eager to try new places but not sure that this one will be a repeat for me.

The meat tasted like it had been sitting for a while and then reheated it was rubbery, tough, and had that old, off flavor. The broth was also a huge letdown. Pho is supposed to be rich, aromatic, and full of depth, but this one had almost no flavor at all. I even asked ahead of time if the soup would include cartilage, which is usually part of a proper pho, and was told yes, but it wasn't there. What really concerned me was finding fruit flies in the soup. That raised serious questions about cleanliness and food handling, especially if soups are being left uncovered. One thing that also stood out was that, although this is presented as a Vietnamese restaurant, the kitchen staff did not appear to be Vietnamese. While anyone can cook any cuisine, authenticity and attention to traditional flavors really matter, and based on the taste of the food, that authenticity seemed to be missing. When the bill came, I calmly explained everything, expecting at least some acknowledgment or effort to make it right, but nothing meaningful was done. Between the poor food quality, the cleanliness concerns, and the lack of response from staff, this was a very disappointing experience and I wouldn't return.

There was nothing small about it though. Both dishes were delicious, but the pho is my favorite. It was flavorful and remained hot the entire time. The Bo ne was also great, but I will admit I was already full when I tried to work on my way through the plate. The staff was very friendly, and the food came out in a decent amount of time. The restaurant also seemed pretty empty on a Saturday early evening. I can't wait to go back and try more options at this restaurant!

The weather warmed up so it wasn't the day for pho. The service was good. Although it was good news to have yet another Vietnamese place, I felt the dishes ordered were mediocre. Although the pork was flavorful, it was thin, stringy, chewy and unlike the juicy chargrilled pork we were used to. The noodles tasted fine but lacked a crunch. It just didn't hit the spot. It tasted fine and if you haven't had this dish before, you may perhaps like it quite a lot. However, I really liked the generous quantity of shrimp in my grilled shrimp Vermicelli. I was able to share the shrimp as there were so many. It's high protein. The shrimp was nicely peeled, crunchy, sauteed and slightly better quality than many Vietnamese restaurants. I don't recommend the soft shrimp spring rolls; Although I liked the standalone shrimp without the typical boiled pork slices, the sauce wasn't the peanut sauce but hoisin sauce. The ambiance was good and relaxing. Restrooms were average. There was a wash sink outside so you could wash hands without using the restrooms. After reading the reviews, I was hoping to like this more.

On a weeknight, there isn't much of a crowd and really just 1 other table of customers. I was able to pick pretty much anywhere to sit. The menu is pretty extensive and has all of the vietnamese basics for a noodle shop. I tried the House Special Fried Shrimp Cake and Fried Egg Rolls as an appetizer, and a small fatty brisket and fatty flank steak bowl of pho. Prices are average id say for this type of food and certainly much less than the nearly $18 bowl of pho I had about 6 miles away last week. The soup broth is very similar to their other location, which was pretty good. It isn't the best bowl of soup in the Houston area, but it surely does the job if you're craving a bowl of pho. The egg rolls are pretty standard, I just wish they gave you more lettuce as the amount provided only is enough for 2 of the 4 egg rolls. The shrimp cake is something I've never tried but just made with sheet tofu and shrimp paste. It's pretty good if you like that texture. You eat them the same way as the egg rolls wrapped in lettuce and add the veggies. Again, the amount of lettuce provided is only enough for 2 of the 4 cakes. The ambiance is nice and they were playing a mix of modern pop and dance music in the dining area.

The food was very good!…read more I was hesitant at first because some of the menu seemed to be fusion items. In a place like Houston, where you can get authentic Vietnamese food, this can be a luck draw if the fusion pays off. However, when I tried the food, it was a very flavorful and worth every cent I spent. Everything was very tasty. The wings were flavorful and crisp. It had a combination of crispy skin seasoned with a rich sauce. The meat was also moist. For a party of two, it was also very shareable because they gave six pieces -both drums and wings. I will say that you really gotta to get in there get your hands and face dirty though! (They did provide a hand wipe!) For the main dishes, the won tonic soup was very flavorful with sweet-and-sour elements with egg noodles that soaked up all this good flavor. The wontons inside were very standard. And the onion was added to provide some balance. Everything was very hardy and filling. My friend had gotten the vermicelli. Which came with crunchy egg rolls, shredded veggies, noodles, and shrimp topped with a fish sauce. It felt very light and refreshing with a balance of textures and savory elements'. Highly recommend as the number one and two selling dishes - it would just depend on if you're in a soup or dry noodle sort of mood. Service was overall fast and friendly. You have to pay by going to the counter. We had a newer waiter though, and it took him a long time to get our orders correctly and he had to get some help. Hopefully they're doing well, but overall, it's a very cute Homie little establishment. Seating fits around 30 around booths and tables.
