My wife and I arrive somewhat close to closing the they were very accommodating. Our waitress was quick to take our order. Food: Not pictured are the spring rolls we ordered. I like that it's more traditional so it includes both beef and shrimp. The beef itself was a little dry and there were not enough herbs that give spring rolls its classic refreshing flavor. As a result the noodles were the primary taste. The accompanying peanut sauce was delicious. Pictured is the chargrill pork and vermicelli. It was cooked to perfection and not overly fatty. There were a good bit of vegetables and noodles. The vinegar fish sauce was refreshing and brought balance to the dish without being overwhelming. My wife had no complaints with the pho. She liked the broth and felt that the meat given in her bowl was overall reasonable. All in all if you're craving Vietnamese food in the woodlands area it will hit the spot. Pretty expensive pho spot with small amounts of meat in the pho dishes. I ordered the regular sized P3. with filet minion pieces and meatballs - there was a total of 3 pieces of filet minion slices and I was expected a little bit more for the price. The broth was good, but again there was a small plate of bean sprouts given to you as a side for adding on. The rice plate was a whopping $19 and there really wasn't much to it - the veggies consisted of cabbage and a single carrot. Granted, there was more meat, but there wasn't your typical fried egg, picked daikon or carrot, etc that usually come with a com tam dish. As for the space, the restaurant is spacious and very clean - from the dining space to the bathrooms. If you're in the area, this is a decent option but expect to pay a premium. read more

EAD gives you a feel of almost being in Vietnam when you enter - the furniture, decor and arrangements are very authentic to the style there. The service was decent and servers very polite. All of the food for our party arrived promptly, except for my food which took almost 45 mins so I had to have them make it a take out order. We're frequent customers here, so we were pretty disappointed tonight. We arrived at 6:50 PM and were told they couldn't take us because the kitchen closes at 7:45 PM. Turning away a party of 6 adults and 3 kids almost an hour before the kitchen closes just doesn't make sense. The crazy part is there were a couple of tables that were about to leave and could have been cleaned, and after telling us no, they seated two other parties. That made the whole situation even more confusing and frustrating. We've always enjoyed coming here, but this experience was really disappointing. read more

I went to lunch with a colleague here on a recent weekday. The restaurant was moderately busy, but we were seated right away. The server was very courteous and attentive. We had two appetizers- BBQ wraps and fried shrimp. Both were excellent. I had the beef stir fry rice dish, and ate everything delicious bit of it. We treated ourselves to the flan for dessert. I ordered wonton noodle soup. In terms of quality of broth, it was very plain. In tradition wonton, there should be red vinegar as dipping sauce. They don't have that. I visited this restaurant one evening since it is one of the better rated restaurants in this shopping center. Their yelp reviews seem to indicate that their beef pho, short ribs, and bo luc lac are some of their best items. Of course those all contain beef. So I followed suit and ordered the pho with filet and fatty brisket. It took a few mins to arrive at the table, and upon eating a few sips, it's actually surprisingly good. The broth is rich, the meat is, of course, tender, and the bowl, although initially looks small, is filled with lots of noodles and beef. They did not provide many basil sprigs, or lime quarters, but that was fine as the broth was delicious without all those. read more

It was not quite noon yet but there was around 4-5 tables with customers already. I was seated right away and the I looked over the large menu. I did not see Banh mi sandwiches. Which was ok. I ordered a grilled pork vermicelli dishes (no peanuts) and an avocado smoothie. The service was top notch. There was several waiters and waitresses working. They all were very attentive. As I was there more and more customers were arriving. (That's a good sign) My food arrived and it looked delicious. And it was. The grilled pork was cooked perfect, slightly chard but not burnt. The veggies were crisp and fresh. My smoothie was so creamy and not to sweet. It was served with both a spoon and a straw. The spoon worked the best. Just Excellent. All in all this was a win for me. I stopped here for lunch around noon on a Wednesday, and it was fairly busy. It's a pretty large space, open, and clean. I was able to get a table right away. I asked about gluten free options, and the server told me that I was limited to the pho, which was fine by me. I ordered the P8 - Pho with Well Done Flank and Brisket, alongside a Salty Lemonade Iced Tea (I just asked if they could mix it together and they were so kind to do it!). The Salty Lemonade Iced Tea was so good, and perfect to go with the pho. The pho was good, but not the best I've ever had. I appreciated that the noodles were fresh and not stuck in a clump like an afterthought as it is at some other restaurants. I had plenty of Thai basil, bean sprouts, and jalapeños to enjoy. Both came out quickly, but my server never came back to check on me. Thankfully, someone else noticed that I was finished for a while, so she helped me settle up my bill. Party of 2 went here for lunch on a Friday at 12:15pm. We were seated upon arrival and greeted by the waitress timely. Very clean in dining area as well as restrooms. We ordered the fried spring rolls (2), beef pho, C3 Shrimp stir fry combo and beef rattler and it was all flavorful and generous portions. Why 5 stars? Because my meal hit squarely on the spot. --- --- --- I worked up quite the appetite and had a lunch that did the opposite of hitting the spot. It was more sweet than savory and it left me wanting more. So I did what I do best: I ate again after a not very long amount of time. I was tempted to order a few different dishes here, but couldn't shake the idea of going with the Beef Rattles. I read that it was similar to Shaken Beef, but this was a bit different than anything I'd had in the past. Maybe it was the way the rice was cooked, but I found each bite to be quite intoxicating. The only thing I would have changed is that I might have ordered the larger size because I didn't want this meal to end. I also ordered a couple of chargrilled pork spring rolls, but they were just okay. And I intended to order a mango smoothie, but they said they only had jackfruit, which was a nice consolation option. Weirdly, they only fill the smoothie cup about 70%. I even asked about that when I saw how not full it was, but was told that's how they do it? Aside from that, I would definitely come back here again. Decided to give this place a try and it's def recommended. I tried their flank and filet mignon pho which was great $13 for a large bowl and $11.50 for the regular. I also ordered a iced coffee which caught me by surprise since they bring the fresh brewed drip coffee to your table with a separate cup of ice. It was def strong just like classic Vietnamese coffee. Service was ok... I came in at around 130pm after the lunch rush and it was not busy but still waited a period to get seated and then again to get service at my table.
