However, we really enjoy the food and coziness of the room so we have continued to make Henry's one of our regular dining experiences. We were going to make reservations for later this month when I noticed a line on their website saying that a 20% gratuity had been added to the bill. I thought that maybe it was a line that had been added on because of New Year's Eve or at that the prices on the menu now reflected the 20% gratuity and no further tipping would be required. My husband sent an email to Henry's asking them to clarify what the policy was. We received a response from Jasmine "20% will be add on. It does not refer only to groups but also to each individual consumer". Sadly, we will not be going to Henry's anymore. The food is very good but the prices are already very high. We were at a Seasons in the Park last night. Their prices are less than Henry's. The setting is nicer, service was outstanding and food is very bit as good as Henry's.

We walked into the restaurant without any customers. A server seated us right away. Her service was great knowing that it was our first time to eat here and letting us know what was special and what we should try. We ordered mussels with white wine, tomatoes and herbs as appetizers and our main dishes were Penne Alfredo and Linguine Pescatora. Penne Alfredo was just a simple dish of penne with white creamy sauce and Parmesan cheese, but OMG! It was extraordinarily delicious! Chef Henry could cook this simple dish so well that I could 100% guarantee it is hard to find such a good simple dish in Greater Vancouver. Linguine Pescatora was full of seafood (shrimps, mussels, clams, scallops, and calamari) in a light spicy tomato sauce. The seafood was fresh (not frozen ones) and the texture of linguine was firm and chewy. Everything was irresistible. We would love to visit this restaurant and try other dishes in the near future. It was worth a trip to come all the way to Port Moody and eat the pasta here. (This pasta restaurant was originally located in Vancouver West.).

Ambiance and Decor Si Senior Taqueria keeps things casual,…read morewith a laid-back, no-nonsense atmosphere that puts the focus squarely on the food. It feels like the kind of place where regulars come for their fix of hearty, well-executed Mexican comfort food. The space is inviting without being overdone--expect warm colors, rustic touches, and an unpretentious vibe that lets the food do the talking. Service Quality Service was efficient and friendly, as you'd hope from a family-run spot. Orders were taken quickly, and food arrived without unnecessary delays. It's not the kind of place where you expect white-glove service, but the staff makes you feel welcome, which is all you really need when you're here for the food. Menu Variety The menu sticks to Mexican classics, and that's exactly what you want. From tacos to enchiladas, everything is rooted in authenticity. The selection isn't overwhelming, but it covers all the essentials--just enough to satisfy cravings without feeling like they're stretching themselves too thin. Food Presentation Mexican food isn't about intricate plating--it's about bold, inviting dishes that make you want to dig in immediately. The enchiladas came smothered in sauce and cheese, exactly as they should be, while the shrimp taco was simple but well-constructed, balancing textures and flavors. Food Taste and Quality This is the kind of food that hits the spot when you're looking for something rich, cheesy, and satisfying. The al pastor enchiladas delivered that perfect mix of smoky, savory pork with a deep, flavorful sauce, all held together by gooey cheese. Meanwhile, the shrimp taco was a lighter counterpoint--fresh, well-seasoned shrimp wrapped in a soft tortilla with just the right amount of toppings. No unnecessary frills, just good, honest Mexican food made by people who know what they're doing. Portion Sizes Generous without being excessive--just enough to leave you satisfied without regret. The enchiladas were hearty, and the taco was a nice addition without tipping the meal into being too heavy. Price and Value For the quality and portion sizes, it's absolutely worth it. This is the kind of place where you can get a solid, filling meal without breaking the bank, making it an easy go-to for those craving good Mexican food in the Lower Mainland. Overall Experience and Recommendation Si Senior Taqueria delivers exactly what it promises: comforting, well-executed Mexican food that doesn't try to be anything it's not. It's not fancy, it's not reinventing the wheel--but it doesn't need to. The flavors are there, the portions are satisfying, and the experience is reliably good. Would I be back? Absolutely.

Really friendly and efficient service, large portion on the bibimbap, rich flavourful seolleongtang! Delicious pumpkin soup on the house to start was a pleasant surprise. While the beef tartare was a common highlight among reviews, it didn't seem to deliver a wow factor other than being insta-pic worthy. However, this was an extremely solid bibimbap - satisfying, tasty, and generously topped. Happy with our choices.

This place, tucked away just 5 minutes' driving distance from Coquitlam Centre, is clearly beloved by the local Korean community. The portion sizes are generous. They are perfect for sharing with family or friends. We saw many families and younger groups dining in, which gave it a cozy, homey vibe. We can taste the love and comfort in every bite. Here's what we ordered: * Beef Tartare Bibimbap - Not your typical bibimbap! The raw beef was beautifully seasoned and full of flavour. This was hands down our favourite dish! * Naengmyeon - Cold noodles in a super refreshing broth. Perfectly chewy with a balanced, savoury tang. A must-have on a hot day. * Japchae - Excellent portion, great price. The noodles were springy and not greasy at all--just the right balance of flavour. Great value, quality ingredients, and authentic flavours--Hansol is definitely going on our go-to list whenever we're craving comforting Korean food. We are highly recommend it for students, families, or anyone who loves real Korean cooking! Food: 5/5 Must Try! Service: 5/5 Kids: 4/5 Yay! They have a patio outside, a mezzanine and quite a few tvs for you to watch games. We got the pineapple wok squid, brussel sprouts and the big "o" chicken sandwich/burger. They asked if we want regular or spicy version for the chicken, We asked for the spicy one. The pineapple wok squid was unique as it had a slight curry flavor and the pineapple gives it a tangy flavor which is an interesting combination that works. I didn't taste the garlic in the dipping sauce, maybe because of the curry taste. It was good. The chicken burger was good as it has cole slaw, pickles, and range sauce. When we told the waitress that we were sharing, she asked if we wanted the burger pre-cut in half. Not a lot of places would have asked that, so that was really good of her to ask. The brussel sprouts were good too as it was crispy but not burnt. If we are in the area again, we will definitely come back, maybe for their happy hour
