Very disappointing. The last 3 times I've ordered have been pretty sad. This was the last time unfortunately that I'll order from here. It used to be so great. We ordered the 5 Colour Vermicelli Bowl and it was missing the meatballs and most of the noodles. My son got the green onion cakes and said they tasted old and looked different than they usually do. I had the vegetable spring rolls. Not sure if they're frozen but the texture of the filling was weird. The absolute worst dish was the Ginger Beef. Gristly meat and no sauce. We've only somewhat liked it but this time it wasn't even edible. I gave 2 stars only because of the friendly staff. This they get right. read more

Tried this place today for the first time with my boyfriend after visiting his mom who lives in Spruce Grove. It looks like a small family run business in Spruce Grove. Once we walked in, we were greeted right away by a waitress and seated. The restaurant is pretty hidden in a strip but inside there was quite a bit of room. I ordered the 5 coloured vermicelli bowl and some green tea on the side. My food came pretty fast and it was really tasty. The service was quick and the waitresses were really polite and attentive. The vermicelli bowl I got was a very good portion with quite a bit of bbq meat on it. I was surprised at the amount of meat there was. It was quite tasty and delicious! I am definitely going to come back the next time in in Spruce Grove. My boyfriend tried the pho and said it was delicious... so I will have to come back to try the pho for sure, since I love pho and did not order it this time. Overall the price was pretty good too I think our meal altogether was around $20. read more

This is mine and my wife's favorite place to dine in Spruce Grove. We have become quite the regulars and the owner remembers us and our orders. I always get the same thing, the ginger beef with a side of coconut rice. My wife has ordered from all over the menu, she is never disappointed and is constantly changing favorite dishes. Tasty is run as a family business and this brings a wonderful sense of community to the meal. Watched the staff prepare subs for customers with their hands - no gloves - and then take people's dirty tickets at the Taste of Spruce Grove event, which makes me highly question their food safety and cleanliness standards. Wasn't feeling like cooking last night, so we decided to give this restaurant a try. Opted for the 2 dinner menu which is good value. The menu came with soup and spring rolls. The soup was tasty, though lacking a little salt, but that is a simple fix, just add a little soy sauce. The spring rolls were very good, really enjoyed them. For entrees we had sweet & sour chicken and satay beef (came with rice). The entrees were not bad, the sweet & sour had a tasty sauce, the beef was spicy and the veggies were fresh. The one thing we have a bit of an issue with is the meat, it tasted like it was frozen and not fresh. I have seen this before in other restaurants. This was a little disappointing, otherwise I would have given 4 stars. The staff was pretty friendly and the place was busy. read more
